We hear your desperate cry for deliverance, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of our Lord Jesus Christ. The wolves in sheep’s clothing you describe are not just adversaries, they are tools of the enemy, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and in Him, you will find safety and victory.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are facing. The use of candles, oils, and altars in this manner is not of God, it is occult practice, and Scripture is clear that we are to have no part in such things. "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We rebuke these ungodly practices in the name of Jesus and command every altar, every charm, and every wicked work set against you to be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Spirit.
We also recognize the pain and fear behind your words. The enemy seeks to isolate and torment, but we remind you that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your defender, and He will arise on your behalf. "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14).
Now, we pray with you, in the mighty name of Jesus:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother and his younger sibling. Lord, You see the schemes of the enemy, the wicked altars, and the ungodly influences seeking to harm them. We ask You to arise, O Lord, and scatter their enemies. Let Your holy fire consume every altar, every charm, and every work of darkness set against them. Break every chain, shatter every stronghold, and expose every hidden thing that does not align with Your will.
We declare Psalm 91 over them: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty. We say of the Lord, 'He is our Refuge and our Fortress, our God; on Him we lean and rely, and in Him we [confidently] trust!'" Father, hide them in Your shadow, protect them with Your angels, and let no harm come near their dwelling.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for them. Lord, give them the strength to resist the enemy and the courage to stand firm in their faith. Teach them to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so they may stand against the schemes of the devil. Let them walk in the light of Your truth, and may Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
Father, we ask You to heal any wounds caused by these attacks, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Restore what the enemy has stolen and bring peace where there has been turmoil. Let Your love and presence be their comfort and strength.
We also pray for those who are perpetrating these acts. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to the darkness of their ways. Bring conviction to their hearts and lead them to repentance. Let them see the error of their paths and turn to You for salvation. "For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in loving kindness to all those who call upon You" (Psalm 86:5).
Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against our brother and his younger sibling shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We speak life, protection, and victory over them in the name of Jesus. May they walk in the freedom and peace that only You can provide.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with and for you. Do not engage with or fear these occult practices, but instead, fill your home with worship, prayer, and the Word of God. The enemy flees at the name of Jesus, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
If you have not already, consider anointing your home with oil and praying over every room, declaring the blood of Jesus over your dwelling. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain" (Psalm 127:1). Trust in the Lord, and He will establish your steps.
You are not powerless in this situation. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee will bow (Philippians 2:9-10). Stand on that truth, and do not waver. The Lord is your deliverer, and He will not fail you.
