We hear your desperate cry for deliverance, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this heavy burden before the throne of our Lord Jesus Christ. The wolves in sheep’s clothing you describe are not just adversaries, they are tools of the enemy, seeking to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and in Him, you will find safety and victory.

First, we must address the spiritual warfare you are facing. The use of candles, oils, and altars in this manner is not of God, it is occult practice, and Scripture is clear that we are to have no part in such things. "There shall not be found among you anyone who... practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord" (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). We rebuke these ungodly practices in the name of Jesus and command every altar, every charm, and every wicked work set against you to be destroyed by the fire of the Holy Spirit.

We also recognize the pain and fear behind your words. The enemy seeks to isolate and torment, but we remind you that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is your defender, and He will arise on your behalf. "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still" (Exodus 14:14).

Now, we pray with you, in the mighty name of Jesus:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts heavy for our brother and his younger sibling. Lord, You see the schemes of the enemy, the wicked altars, and the ungodly influences seeking to harm them. We ask You to arise, O Lord, and scatter their enemies. Let Your holy fire consume every altar, every charm, and every work of darkness set against them. Break every chain, shatter every stronghold, and expose every hidden thing that does not align with Your will.

We declare Psalm 91 over them: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty. We say of the Lord, 'He is our Refuge and our Fortress, our God; on Him we lean and rely, and in Him we [confidently] trust!'" Father, hide them in Your shadow, protect them with Your angels, and let no harm come near their dwelling.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for them. Lord, give them the strength to resist the enemy and the courage to stand firm in their faith. Teach them to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so they may stand against the schemes of the devil. Let them walk in the light of Your truth, and may Your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).

Father, we ask You to heal any wounds caused by these attacks, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Restore what the enemy has stolen and bring peace where there has been turmoil. Let Your love and presence be their comfort and strength.

We also pray for those who are perpetrating these acts. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to the darkness of their ways. Bring conviction to their hearts and lead them to repentance. Let them see the error of their paths and turn to You for salvation. "For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in loving kindness to all those who call upon You" (Psalm 86:5).

Finally, we declare that no weapon formed against our brother and his younger sibling shall prosper. Every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We speak life, protection, and victory over them in the name of Jesus. May they walk in the freedom and peace that only You can provide.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith and to surround yourself with godly believers who can pray with and for you. Do not engage with or fear these occult practices, but instead, fill your home with worship, prayer, and the Word of God. The enemy flees at the name of Jesus, and greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).

If you have not already, consider anointing your home with oil and praying over every room, declaring the blood of Jesus over your dwelling. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman stays awake in vain" (Psalm 127:1). Trust in the Lord, and He will establish your steps.

You are not powerless in this situation. The name of Jesus is above every name, and at His name, every knee will bow (Philippians 2:9-10). Stand on that truth, and do not waver. The Lord is your deliverer, and He will not fail you.

We read your plea and your heart’s cry to Jesus, and we want you to know we are standing with you in prayer. It’s painful to feel surrounded by people who wish you harm, and the fear and frustration you’re carrying are very real. When threats feel so close, it’s easy to fix our eyes on what others might be doing, but we gently remind you that our safety isn’t found in watching their every move, it’s found in trusting the One who holds us in His hands. Jesus, who defeated every power of darkness, walks with you and your younger brother right now. Nothing can separate you from His love and protection.

Rather than focusing on destruction, we encourage you to simply rest in Jesus’ promise to be your shield and defender. He is the just Judge who sees all things, and He will handle what we cannot. In the meantime, if the fear keeps growing, please consider reaching out to a trusted Christian friend or pastor who can pray with you in person. Sometimes just having someone else stand with you can bring a fresh sense of peace. If these thoughts begin to overwhelm your daily life, it may also be wise to speak with a professional counselor, not because you are weak, but because you deserve support.

Let’s pray together now:

Lord Jesus, we come with our brother/sister who feels hemmed in by threats and fear. Surround them and their brother with Your angels. Quiet every anxious thought and fill them with Your perfect peace. Shield them from all harm, and frustrate any scheme meant to bring them down. We do not ask for fire from heaven on altars, but we ask that Your light would expose what is hidden and that Your justice would prevail. Protect their home, their minds, and their hearts. Let them know tangibly that You are near. In Your mighty name, Jesus. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

You are worn down, and the fear of what others are doing in secret has begun to press upon your spirit like a heavy weight. I can hear it in your cry, the white candles, the wax, the altar, the hidden things you believe are set against you and your younger brother. It is a dark thing when malice wraps itself in religion, and when those who should be neighbours prove to be trespassers in heart and deed. You have begged the Lord Jesus to send destruction upon that altar and to burn it with holy fire. I understand the ache behind those words.

Yet let me speak a gentler word to steady you. The strongest fire has already fallen. It did not fall upon a hidden altar in a room, but upon a hill outside the city wall, Calvary. There the wrath that undoes all wickedness was spent upon the Son of God, and in that sacrifice every curse, every spell, every whispered malice, and every secret thing done in darkness was disarmed forever. The cross is God’s own altar, and the blood that stained it speaks a better word than the oil and wax of any who scheme in the shadows. If you are hidden in Christ, then whatever they think they possess of you, hair, pictures, tokens, is no more dangerous to your soul than a handful of dust thrown into a furnace. The furnace of God’s love swallows it and is not dimmed.

Do you know what a wonderful thing it is to be loved by a jealous God? He does not share His people with evil. The Lord is jealous for you, not against you, jealous with a love as strong as death. When He sees you trembling, He does not stand distant. His jealousy is a wall of fire around you. He will not permit those who hate to set up their altars against His own child without a reckoning. But His reckoning is not our panic. He is not in a hurry, and He does not strike wildly. He is the God who makes even the wrath of man to praise Him, and the remainder He restrains. The very thing your enemies design for harm, He can weave into a strange and deep blessing.

Think of this: the evil they intend is real, but it is a vapor compared to the solid rock beneath your feet. The blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses from all sin, and what can any oil or wax or spiteful incantation do against a man or woman who is washed in that? Not a single hair of your head falls without your Father knowing, and certainly no token stolen in malice can separate you from His love. Those who set themselves against the Lord’s anointed are setting themselves against the Lord Himself, and it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. You do not need to beg for destruction upon their altar as though Christ’s victory were incomplete. You need only to rest in what has already been accomplished. There is no altar so strong that it can stand where the cross has cast its shadow.

I urge you to stop looking so long at what they are doing in the dark. The more you gaze at the candle wax and the hidden altar, the larger it looms, and the smaller Christ appears. But turn it round. Look at your Saviour until He fills your horizon, and you will find those fears shrinking to their true size. There is no power in a candle when the sun has risen. And the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.

If the burden feels heavy, cast it upon Him. Have you not read what the Psalmist said when his enemies pressed in? He did not promise to pull down their citadel with his own hands; he said, “Cast your burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain you.” Not half the burden, all of it. The terror, the anger, the weariness, the sense of being trespassed against in your very soul, take the whole tangled knot of it and place it in the pierced hands of Jesus. He knows what it is to be hated without cause. He knows what it is to have evil men scheme against Him. And He sits even now at the right hand of the Father, interceding for all whose trust is in Him. Do you think He will not hear you? Do you think the Father will not answer the Son, in whom He is well pleased?

You have a younger brother. Stand with him, and let your quiet confidence in Christ be a shelter for you both. Do not lash out in fear. Do not meet hidden malice with a noisy heart. Overcome evil with good. The weapon you are given to use in this fight is not a curse called down, but a blessing held up. Trusting Christ, forgiving from the heart, and leaving room for God to do what only God can do, this is the way the saints have always conquered. It looks weak, but it is the weakness of the Lamb, and the Lamb overcomes them all, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings.

Let me leave this one picture with you. A ship in deep water may feel the tossing of the storm, but the keel is far beneath the spray, held by the fathomless sea. So your soul is held. The waves may hiss and the winds howl, but you are borne up by a love that has no bottom. Christ is your deep water, your sure harbor, your bright and morning star. What can a candle do against the star? It gutters and goes out.

---

Lord Jesus, Majesty of heaven, we bring this weary heart before You now. You see the hidden things, the altars, the malice, the wax and oil, the tokens of spite, all are naked before Your eyes. We do not ask for destruction for destruction’s sake, but we ask that every evil purpose be turned back and made foolish. Let Your shadow cover this child and his brother so thickly that no harm can find them. Burn out of their hearts the fear that gnaws, and fill them instead with the holy calm of those who know that the battle is Yours. Stand between them and those who trespass against them, and let peace rule in their home like a sentinel from heaven. And grant, O Lord, that those who walk in darkness and envy might yet see the light and be drawn from death to life, for Your mercy is wider than our fear. In the strong name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
