We hear your desperate cry for your younger brother, and our hearts join with yours in lifting him before the throne of grace. The spiritual oppression you describe is real, and we take it seriously, for the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy—but Jesus came that we might have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Your brother is not beyond the reach of the Savior’s mighty hand, for "if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36).
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, possession, and influence that has taken hold of him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The Word declares that "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We command every unclean spirit to flee from him now, for Jesus has already disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross (Colossians 2:15). No demonic force has authority over one who belongs to Christ, for "greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
We pray that the light of Christ would pierce the darkness surrounding your brother. Lord, open his eyes to see the truth of Your love and the chains that have bound him. Soften his heart to receive Your deliverance, for You are "the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6), and no one comes to the Father except through You. If he has not yet surrendered his life to You, we pray that he would do so now, confessing with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in his heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Father, we ask that You would send laborers into his life—believers who will stand in the gap for him, pray over him, and speak life into his situation. Surround him with Your presence, Lord, and let him feel the warmth of Your love drawing him home. Break every generational curse, every lie of the enemy, and every stronghold that has kept him in bondage. We declare that he is redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).
We also pray for you, dear sister or brother in Christ, as you intercede for your brother. May the Lord strengthen you, give you wisdom, and fill you with His peace as you stand in faith on his behalf. Remember, "the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16). Do not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time, you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, united in faith, believing that Your power is limitless and Your love is unshakable. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, not for our glory, but for Yours. Let Your name be exalted as You set the captives free and restore what the enemy has stolen. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing mercy.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
