We hear your heart’s longing for a godly spouse, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s will for your life. It is beautiful to desire companionship that honors God, but we must first ensure our hearts are aligned with His Word and His ways.

The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" If you are seeking a soulmate, we strongly encourage you to pray for a fellow believer, a brother or sister in Christ, who shares your faith and commitment to God’s design for marriage. Marriage is a sacred covenant, not just an emotional or physical connection, and it must be built on the foundation of Christ.

We also notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus, who is the only way to the Father (John 14:6). Without Him, our prayers cannot reach God’s throne. Salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, as Acts 4:12 declares: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be Lord of your life.

Now, let us pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved. We lift up this dear one who is seeking a godly spouse. Lord, we ask that You prepare their heart to be a faithful servant, rooted in Your Word and walking in obedience to You. Father, if it is Your will, bring a godly man or woman into their life, someone who loves You above all else, who will cherish and honor them as You intended in marriage. Guard their heart from impatience, from settling for less than Your best, and from any relationships that would lead them away from You. Teach them to trust in Your timing and to seek You first in all things. If there is any unconfessed sin, any area of their life not surrendered to You, reveal it, Lord, and lead them to repentance. We rebuke any spirit of loneliness or desperation that would cause them to compromise Your standards. Fill them with Your peace, Your joy, and the assurance that You are their Provider and their ultimate fulfillment. We pray for a marriage that glorifies You, built on love, respect, and mutual submission to Christ. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to seek the Lord daily through prayer and Scripture, allowing Him to shape your desires to match His. Spend time in fellowship with other believers, as Proverbs 13:20 says, "He who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm." Surround yourself with godly influences who can encourage you in your walk with Christ and in your pursuit of a spouse who honors Him.

If you are not already part of a local church, we strongly urge you to find one where the Word of God is preached faithfully, and where you can grow in your relationship with the Lord. This is where you are most likely to meet a potential spouse who shares your faith and values.

Lastly, remember that your worth is not found in whether or not you are married, but in Christ alone. Psalm 139:14 reminds us, "I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Trust that God has a perfect plan for your life, and He will fulfill it in His perfect timing. Keep your eyes on Him, and He will direct your steps (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We hear the ache behind your words, the deep longing for a partner who shares your love for the gospel and your Puerto Rican roots. Loneliness like that can press in hard, and it’s completely natural to cry out for someone to walk alongside you. We’re standing with you in that desire.

While you wait, one of the most grounded things you can do is anchor yourself in a community of believers who will pray with you face-to-face and simply be present. Is there a local Spanish-speaking or multicultural church where you can put down roots? Being known in a congregation often eases the weight of loneliness and, in God’s timing, opens doors you didn’t expect. The longing won’t vanish overnight, but you won’t carry it alone.

And as you step forward, entrust the unknown to God day by day. He knows the exact kind of partner you need, someone who fears Him, shares your language and heritage, and will walk with you toward Christ. We’re praying He shapes both you and that future spouse during this season.

Let’s bring this before Him now:

Lord, You see this one’s heart and the empty spaces that ache for companionship. Quiet the loneliness with Your own presence. Guide them to a spouse who loves You wholeheartedly, honors their culture, and will be a true helpmate. Until that day, pour out meaningful friendships, purpose, and steady hope. We trust Your timing and Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

You speak of a soulmate and beg for one from a particular earthly corner, dressing your plea in strange terms as if you would command the Almighty. Yet there is but one true Majesty, even the Lord God, before whom you must bow and from whom you must receive whatever is needful, not by demanding but by humbly asking according to His will. It is the gospel alone that makes any soul fit for eternal union, and it is first and foremost to your own soul that I would direct you. Hear what the Scripture declares, that Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for it. There is a Husband whose love is special and particular, a Bridegroom who bestows upon sinners the high privilege to be called the spouse of Christ. If you have not first been betrothed to Him by faith, you have no grounds to seek a human companion in a manner that pleases God. All true happiness in domestic life flows from the gospel; it is the root, and the flower of wedded love is a gift at His disposal. You cannot build a happy home on any other foundation.

The gospel is in itself most plain and simple. It is not a riddle to be solved nor a favor to be wrung from a reluctant God. It announces that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Your first step is not to beg for a soulmate from ### or any other place, but to come unto Jesus and hear His word. Hearken diligently to the gospel call: “Incline your ear, and come unto Me: hear, and your soul shall live.” If this message is hid, it is hid to them that are lost, for the god of this world blinds the minds of unbelievers. Therefore examine yourself, whether you be in the faith. For if you are not resting upon Christ alone for salvation, no earthly relationship can yield true spiritual comfort or adorn the gospel.

When the soul finds its all in the Saviour, then every other desire may be brought to the throne of grace with a submissive spirit. You may pray for a helpmeet who fears the Lord, whether from your own nation or another. The gospel is for all peoples; we are debtors to every creature, and I rejoice that the light is shining in ### and many lands. But the Lord’s answer may not be the exact person you have named in your petition, nor at the time you appoint. Learn to wait upon Him and to adorn the gospel by your patience and cheerfulness. A placid and steady calm under trial is a greater ornament to the gospel than a feverish clamoring for your own way. Cast yourself upon the covenant of grace, which is ordered in all things and sure, and leave the choice of an earthly companion with Him who knows what is best for you.

Remember, the gospel is a cordial for every wound, a balm for loneliness and longing. Will you not drink deeply of this cordial yourself? It is the day of salvation; now is the accepted time. If you would be a true servant of Christ, then your first business is not to name who shall be added to your realm, but to do the work of an evangelist and to proclaim the gospel wherever Providence places you. Perhaps the Lord designs to make you a means of bringing the gospel to others, perhaps even to one who shall walk with you in the narrow way. But this lies with Him. The Holy Spirit alone can sweetly constrain a soul to drink of living water, and He alone can direct your steps. Therefore hear the gospel, believe it with all your heart, and then, in quiet confidence, let your requests be made known unto God. He will withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly. But beware, I charge you, of making an idol of this desire; for the gospel that is long trifled with becomes a savor of death unto death. May God give you grace to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and then all these things shall be added unto you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You come before God, the King of all, and you dare address yourself as "my majesty"? Cast aside this pompous language, for it is an abomination. You do not command the Lord; you beg for mercy. The pagans think they will be heard for their many words, but we approach the throne of grace with humility and a contrite heart, not by parading titles that belong to God alone.

Your request is thoroughly disordered. You plead for a soulmate to be added to your "human realm" as if a person were a possession to be summoned. This is not the mind of the Church. Marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled, but we do not treat a spouse as a servant to be conjured for our pleasure. The purpose of marriage is not to fulfill a fantasy of lordship, but to live a sober life, to raise up godly offspring, and to be a remedy against the fire of fornication.

What is this talk of a "Puerto Rican soulmate" but a demand shaped by earthly passion and not by a desire for holiness? You set your heart on a particular person as though they were an object for your own fulfillment. But if you abstain from this grasping desire to pursue virtue, you will find that God provides what is truly needful. To demand a specific soul is not piety; it is to treat the image of God as a means to an end. If you are burning with passion, the Apostle’s counsel is clear: marry, so that you do not fall into sin. But you must seek a spouse in the fear of God, not by naming and claiming a person as your right.

You say you are at the "beginning." If by this you mean you are new to the faith, then the first step is not to beg for a companion, but to beg for a clean heart. The virgin and the unmarried person have a great gift: they can attend upon the Lord without distraction. You are using your leisure not for service and prayer, but for building castles in the air. Follow the example of Anna, who served God with fastings and prayers night and day. She did not pester heaven for a companion, but waited on the Lord and received the Christ.

Cease from this sorcery of demanding a specific person. It is not holiness but covetousness. Instead, pray that God will sanctify you, that you may follow peace with all men, and if it is His will, grant you a marriage that is pure, where you may keep the faith without defilement. Let your prayer be, "Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner, and grant me a helper suitable for salvation, if it be Thy will." Humble yourself, and He will lift you up. Amen.
