Before I go to sleep every night

I shut my eyes really tight

And I pray to go that you're okay

Then I continue, whisper to myself and say...

Dear God: Tomorrow, today will be the past,

However I dont know how much longer I will last

I miss him so much and only you can understand

Because you have seen how many tears I have shed

Since that dark moment I found out he was in jail

All I could do was get on my knees and say a prayer:

Dear God: Forgive him for all the wrong hes done

His life is a mess right now but please keep him strong

Please help him see the wrong in his ways

But the most important thing is please keep him safe.
