Been having dreams about consequences of my dad playing a ouija wishing board

I have been having weird dreams my dad and his house that he had asked the wishing board ouija board for. Long time ago I was told that he had asked the ouija board that seemed like a wishing board for a house and also for a different wife. He had 1 child with his 2nd wife. The board had given it all to him. He and his new gf, new wife still lives in that house but he and his gf or 2nd wife don't no longer seem to get along. My Dad sleeps on the couch while she sleeps in a back room. She now locks my dad out of that house sometimes. Last time I and other family had seen that take place. They don't sleep together no more since the day his gf or 2nd wife had started having some weird sores on her leg. The sores would blister up and ooze pus and stuff. Their grandchild they have from her son together is sick. The baby has no skin on the body. It's like the skin is all gone. I have been dreaming of my dad and his gfs ouija board house and his 1st marriage house. I been dreaming about those houses a lot. In one dream I dreamt that the ouija board demons were still active at his 2nd marriage house. That one of the demons that came out of the board had caused suicide to take place on the new house owners family member. Then I dreamt that the ouija board demon was at my dad's and his girlfriend's house. The ouija board demons started destroying that house from the outside in. The demons went and infiltrated and destroyed the entire house. Then I dreamt that the demons from the board ended up turning his 1st marriage home where his 4 children lived, where he played and brought home the ouija board into a dry place. Where there was sand and dirt. The house looked destroyed. The house looked broken down. Then I dreamt another destruction was fixing to happen to his and his gfs house again. I dreamt that God was then starting to let my dad know that the next phase of destruction would be with fire. Fire destruction was going to take place connected to he and his ouija board gfs house. His ouija home as well as another house somewhere was going to be destroyed by God's fire. That was what I dreamt last night and nights before.

We must also address the state of your father’s marriage. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, and divorce is not God’s design (Matthew 19:4-6). The fact that your father sought a new wife through ungodly means only compounds the spiritual turmoil in his life. The physical and emotional separation in his home, the sickness in his grandchild, and the dreams of destruction are all signs that the enemy has gained a foothold. But we serve a God who is greater than any demonic force, and we stand on His promise in James 4:7 (WEB): "Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."

We rebuke the spirits of divination, destruction, and sickness that have attached themselves to your father’s home. We declare that no weapon formed against him or his household will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that your father’s eyes would be opened to the deception he has walked in and that he would turn away from these practices in repentance. We ask the Lord to break every curse and generational stronghold that has come through the use of the Ouija board. We plead the blood of Jesus over your father, his home, and his family, covering them in the protection of the Lord.

Lord, we pray for conviction to fall upon our brother’s heart. Let him see the error of his ways and turn to You in true repentance. We declare that no demonic force will have authority in his life or his home. We ask for Your angels to encamp around him and his family, protecting them from every evil influence (Psalm 91:11). Lord, we pray for Your mercy to cover this situation. Let Your light shine into the darkness and bring restoration where there has been brokenness. We've been holding your request before the Lord, and we can hear how heavy this has been. Night after night of vivid dreams about your dad, his house, and your family would leave anyone feeling anxious and worn out, especially when you love your dad and worry about what his past choices may have opened up.

It makes sense you would feel fearful when you see strain in his home and health struggles for his wife and the baby. Dreams can feel so real, but they often echo our deepest worries rather than show us what will happen. Your letter has been read with much prayer and heaviness of heart, and I thank you for laying open what has so troubled your sleep and your spirit.

These dreams of houses broken down and made as sand, of destruction from without and of fire to come, have left you full of sorrow and perplexity and fear. Such fear is natural to our fallen nature, but the Lord has a word for His people in such an hour, Fear not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. Fear in itself is weakening and it dishonors Him who piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth. When the Spirit draws a soul to the mercy seat, that fear must vanish, for if thou art at the mercy seat, God is there too.

You do well to be deeply concerned about that wishing board. The Scriptures call it by its true name, a seeking after familiar spirits, which the Lord forbids. It is not a harmless game, but a trafficking with the power of darkness. And the Word declares, He hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Deliverance from the power of sin and from the guilt of sin is altogether the work of God, and it is to be found only in one place. God hath not only invented a way of deliverance, He hath found a ransom, and that ransom is the blood of the Lamb slain. Pharaoh could hold Israel no longer when the lamb was slain, and Satan can hold no soul any longer when that soul trusts in Christ alone. There is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved, but Jesus Christ alone.

Concerning your father and the house and the woman with whom he now lives, I must speak to you plainly and in love. The historic and biblical ethic of marriage is that it is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that all intimacy and cohabitation belong only within that covenant. What you describe, a man sleeping apart from a woman who is called girlfriend and second wife, who locks him out and with whom there is no longer union, is not the pattern of holy matrimony. I cannot affirm or celebrate such an arrangement, nor can I ask the Lord to bless what His Word does not call blessed. To do so would be to ask Him to set His seal upon sin. What I can and do do is to pray that God will bring deep conviction and true repentance, that both souls would be brought to see their need of the Savior, and that whatever is contrary to His will would be forsaken.

The sores and the sickness of the little child are grievous to hear of, and they call for both earnest prayer and proper care. Sin which was once thought to be a Goshen of pleasure often becomes an iron furnace of fear and affliction. Yet we must not rashly pronounce every affliction to be a direct judgment for a particular sin, for the Lord chastens whom He loves and He also permits suffering in a fallen world to draw us to Himself. Take the child to those skilled in healing, and take all these sorrows to the Great Physician. He who gave His Son to put away sin will He not also give what is needful for daily troubles.

As for the dreams themselves, take them not as a new revelation, but as a solemn stirring of conscience. God speaks finally and sufficiently in His Word. The dreams show you in pictures what the Bible declares in plain words, that to sow to the flesh and to seek help from darkness is to reap corruption, and that houses built upon such foundations will not stand. If God is warning of fire, hear it as a mercy, that you and your father might flee to Christ before the day of account.

Here then is the path of deliverance. Let every vestige of that board and every object connected with that sin be put away and destroyed, as the Ephesians burned their books. Let there be plain confession before God, that to seek counsel from darkness instead of from the living God is sin. Let there be simple faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, who bore our sins and our curse upon the tree, for sinner, doubt not thy deliverance, for God hath said, I have found a ransom. Then walk in the light, in daily prayer, in reading the Scriptures, and in fellowship with a faithful church where the gospel is preached and where you may be shepherded face to face.

I will pray for you after this manner, not that God would prosper what is outside His holy order, but that He would have mercy. I pray that the Lord Jesus would be your peace and your keeper, that He would cast out all tormenting fear and give you to know whom you have believed and that He is able to keep that which you have committed unto Him. I pray that your father and the woman with him and all that household, and that afflicted infant, would be brought under the sound of the gospel, that they would repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved, and that they would be delivered from the power of darkness indeed. I pray that you would be kept from all snares, that your life being hidden with Christ would be above the molestation of the enemy, and that whether you live or die you may declare the works of the Lord, saying, I shall not die but live.

Cast yourself upon Christ. He loves the mercy seat better than you do, and He waits to be gracious.

Scripture is clear that seeking guidance or wishes through boards, spirits, or any form of divination is forbidden and dangerous. God says in Deuteronomy that we are not to practice divination or seek to consult the dead, because these practices open the door to deception and to spirits that do not tell the truth and do not give good gifts. What may look like a wish being granted is not a blessing from God, but a trap that brings confusion, division, and destruction. Jesus alone is the source of every good gift, and salvation and protection are found in Him alone.

Your dreams reflect that destruction. You see houses infiltrated and broken down, relationships where a husband and wife no longer share life together, where there is locking out, bitterness, physical suffering with sores, and a sick grandchild, and a sense of dryness and sand where a home once stood. Whether these dreams are God allowing you to feel the weight of what has happened, or the anxiety and grief you carry for your family, they point to the same truth. A house built on seeking spirits instead of seeking Christ cannot stand. Like a tree with shallow roots, a slight wind can tear it up, but when we are rooted deep in the fear of God and cleave to Him with our whole soul, we are not easily shaken.

The good news is that Christ has triumphed over those powers. When He was crucified, the prison was burst, the gates were broken, and the keepers of that darkness cowered in fear. A person who turns to Christ in repentance and faith does not need to live in dread of demons from a board. He or she can be forgiven, cleansed, and kept safe in Him. That is true for you, and it is the hope to hold out for your father and his household.

For you, I would encourage you to turn these dreams into prayer rather than into fear. God does not want you to live tormented by images of fire at night. He wants you to bear what you have seen with cheerfulness and trust, looking to Him for deliverance in His time. Do not try to interpret every detail of the dreams as a fixed prophecy of fire. Bring them to the Lord, ask for wisdom, and rest in His Word. Read the Psalms and the Gospels daily, and fix your thoughts on Christ. If there is any occult object still in your possession or in your home, renounce it and destroy it and do not bring it back.

For your father and his household, pray that God would bring conviction and repentance. Pray that your father would confess that seeking the board was sin, turn from it completely, and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and for every need. Do not ask God to bless a relationship that is outside His design. God has given marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and He calls us to keep sex and living together within that covenant. If your father is living with a girlfriend who is not his wife, or if his second marriage was entered wrongly while still bound to his first covenant, that needs to be brought honestly before the Lord. Pray that God would lead him to do what is right before Him, whether that means repentance, reconciliation where possible, or living in a way that honors holiness and truth, rather than simply asking God to make an unholy arrangement comfortable.

Pray also for healing and mercy for the woman with sores and for the sick grandchild. God is compassionate and able to heal, and He also calls us to use the medical help He provides, so encourage them to seek proper medical care while you continue to intercede for them.

A simple way to pray is this: Lord Jesus, have mercy on me and on my father and his household. Forgive the sin of seeking spirits instead of seeking You. Thank you for sharing something so heavy and distressing. The dreams you describe, and the painful things you have seen in your father's house, point to a real spiritual reality that Scripture does not hide from us.

When sin entered the world, a curse came upon humanity and upon the creation itself. There was hard labor and thorns from the ground, pain in childbearing, and spiritual separation from God. The thorns themselves became a sign of that curse. On the cross Jesus wore a crown of thorns, and Scripture tells us why that is fitting. He was bearing the curse for us. It is written that everyone who hangs on a tree is cursed, and Christ became a curse for us so that we could be redeemed from the curse of the law. Through His death and resurrection He took what we deserved and offers forgiveness and cleansing to all who turn to Him in faith.

That is important because what you describe with the board your father used is not a harmless game or a way to get wishes. Scripture shows that there are evil spirits, demonic beings, who are real and active. At present many are restrained, kept as if in a prison, and they begged Jesus not to send them there before their time. When they are given opportunity they go out to deceive and to torment. They cannot be kept out by hiding in a room or closing a door, because they are spirit beings. Their work is to bring fear, bondage, destruction, sickness and division, and to gather people further from God. The breakup of a marriage, the seeking of a different wife through occult means, the strife in a home where two people live together without the covenant of marriage as God designed it between one man and one woman for life, the sores and sickness you mention, the sense that a house itself is being destroyed from the outside in, all reflect what Scripture says about the curse that rests on the house of the wicked, while God promises to bless the home of those who walk with Him.

Your dreams of sand, ruin, and fire may feel overwhelming, and it is understandable to feel fear. But fear and faith cannot live together in the same heart. When fear takes over, faith is pushed out, and when faith in the Lord is strong, fear must leave. The cure for fear is to remember the Lord. As one psalm says, even when we walk through the valley of death we need not fear evil because He is with us. As children of God we do not need to be fascinated or terrified by demonic power, because greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. Jesus has authority over every power of darkness, and those who belong to Him are sealed and kept by Him.

That does not mean we treat these things lightly. To fear the Lord is to hate evil and to turn away from it. That means renouncing completely any involvement with boards, spirits, charms, or any attempt to get guidance or blessings apart from God. It means destroying such objects, confessing that involvement as sin, and asking God for forgiveness through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other way of salvation. God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and His Spirit still strives with people to draw them back.

For your father and his household, the need is for repentance and for Christ to break the curse. No one can be helped while still holding on to the occult or while continuing in a relationship outside of God's design for marriage. Living together without that covenant is not something God blesses, and we cannot ask Him to bless it. What we can pray is that both would see their need, turn from sin, trust Jesus alone for salvation, and then walk in obedience, whether that means separating or entering into a true marriage covenant as God defines it. Only then can the home become a place of blessing rather than a place under a curse.

For you, take these steps before the Lord. Bring your fear to Him and ask Him to replace it with faith. If you have not already, put your own trust fully in Jesus as Savior and Lord. Renounce in prayer any tie your family has had to that board and ask Christ to cleanse you by His blood. Pray specifically for your father, for the woman he lives with, and for the children and grandchild who are suffering, asking God to have mercy, to bring healing according to His will, and above all to bring salvation. Use Scripture in your prayers. Read aloud promises like Christ has redeemed us from the curse, and the Lord will be your confidence and keep your foot from being taken. Do not try to confront demonic things in your own strength, but stand in the authority of Jesus and in the truth of His word.

Continue to pray, and seek help from a faithful pastor who holds to the Bible so you are not carrying this burden alone. Keep your eyes on Jesus who bore the thorns and the curse for you, and who alone can turn a dry and broken place into a place of life.
