Be with ###

Humble Servant
Dear Lord Jesus, Please be with cousins of mine. It’s been nearly 2 years since they lost their son. He had diabetes and died randomly at the doorstep. I wanna try to contact my cousins and reach out to them to show that I care and love them and the sympathy that I have. The dad is cousins with my mom, so therefore making their son and he kind you know little distant but still family. Let them know that they have my sympathy in memory that I will always remember their son. When my puppet show gets going, I wanna make a tribute to him in memory and loving. I also want to help other diabetics not to die like he did. Be able to save them before they end up like him. I wish I could’ve told him how I had a Covid shot as I saw him just shortly after like a few months. And told him to adverse effects that I suffered with going to the hospital and told him why I don’t drink don’t smoke. Don’t do any of these bad things. I had no idea he was diabetic. I had no idea that he was going through health issues, but if I had known, I probably would’ve told him where my conscience would’ve kicked in to have told him. To think that could’ve gotten him to make better choices of smoking and drinking. I’m not for sure but I don’t think he should’ve drank. I don’t drink due to my autism anyway, but later we find out what my heart condition I should never drink. To think he had diabetes would be another reason for him not to drink. But he could’ve coped with that and learned for me how happy I am as a sober person and optimism, and how we could’ve gotten along it could’ve saved his life and he be alive today I feel so bad, not telling him. Please teach people not to do bad things and choices. Although we did not interact much I still miss ###’s family. In Jesus Name Amen.

We lift up your heartfelt plea before the Father, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Your love for your cousins and the deep sorrow you carry for their loss is a testament to the compassion God has placed within you. The loss of a child is one of the most profound griefs a parent can endure, and we know the Lord collects every tear they have shed, for He too wept at the grave of Lazarus and understands the depth of their pain.

You have expressed a beautiful desire to reach out to your cousins, to honor their son’s memory, and to use this tragedy as a means to help others struggling with diabetes. This is a godly response—turning sorrow into purpose and extending comfort to those who mourn. The Scripture reminds us in **2 Corinthians 1:3-4**, *"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."* Your willingness to be a vessel of that comfort is a reflection of Christ’s love working through you.

We also hear the weight of regret in your words—the "what ifs" and the longing to have spoken truth and wisdom into your cousin’s life while he was still here. But we must remember that God alone holds the times and seasons of our lives in His hands. **Ecclesiastes 3:1-2** tells us, *"For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die..."* While we grieve the loss and wish we could have done more, we must release the burden of guilt, for it is not ours to carry. Instead, let this sorrow deepen your resolve to live righteously and to speak truth in love to those around you while there is still time.

You mentioned the importance of making godly choices—avoiding drinking, smoking, and other harmful behaviors—and how these choices could have impacted your cousin’s health. This is wise, for our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are called to honor God with them (**1 Corinthians 6:19-20**). Your own testimony of sobriety and the health struggles you’ve faced can be a powerful witness to others. The Lord can use your story to guide those who are lost in harmful habits, especially those battling diabetes or other health challenges. We pray that as you reach out to your cousins, you will also find opportunities to share the hope of Christ—not just in words, but through the way you live.

Your idea to create a tribute through your puppet show is a wonderful way to honor your cousin’s memory and raise awareness about diabetes. We pray the Lord gives you creativity, wisdom, and open doors to share this message effectively. May it bring healing to your cousins’ hearts and save lives by encouraging others to seek help and make healthier choices. Remember, though, that while physical health is important, the spiritual condition of a person’s heart is eternal. Your ultimate goal should be to point people to Jesus, the Great Physician, who heals both body and soul.

We also want to address something you touched on—the Covid vaccine and its effects. While we understand your personal experience with it, we must be cautious not to let our focus shift from the sovereignty of God to the circumstances of this world. Whether in health or sickness, life or death, our trust must remain in the Lord. **Proverbs 3:5-6** reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that as you share your story, it will always point back to the faithfulness of God, not just the struggles of this life.

Finally, we commend you for invoking the name of Jesus in your prayer. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (**Acts 4:12**), and it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. Your faith in Him is evident, and we pray it continues to grow as you seek to honor Him in all you do.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister and their cousins to You, asking for Your comforting presence to surround them. Lord, the loss of their son is a wound that runs deep, and we ask that You would bind up their broken hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give them strength for each day and remind them that their son is safe in Your arms, free from pain and sorrow.

We thank You for the love and compassion You’ve placed in our brother/sister’s heart. Guide them as they reach out to their cousins, giving them the right words to speak and the wisdom to know how to bring comfort. Use this tragedy to bring Your light into dark places, Lord. May their puppet show tribute be a tool in Your hands to honor their cousin’s memory and to save lives—both physically and spiritually.

Father, we also ask that You would release our brother/sister from any burden of regret or guilt. You alone are sovereign over life and death, and while we grieve, we trust in Your goodness. Help them to use their story—of health struggles, sobriety, and faith—to point others to You. May their life be a testament to Your grace and the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

We pray for those battling diabetes and other health issues, that You would lead them to the help they need and give them the strength to make choices that honor You. Soften hearts to receive Your truth, Lord, and draw many to repentance and faith in Jesus.

Lastly, Father, we ask that You would continue to grow our brother/sister in faith. Fill them with Your Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, love, and boldness for Your glory. May every step they take—whether in reaching out to family, creating their puppet show, or sharing their testimony—be done in the power of Your name.

In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We love the idea of using your puppet show to honor your cousin's memory and raise awareness about diabetes. It's a wonderful way to turn your sorrow into something positive that can help others. We pray that the Lord gives you all the creativity, wisdom, and open doors you need to make this tribute powerful and effective.

We also want to encourage you to keep sharing your own story of health struggles, sobriety, and faith. Your testimony can be a powerful witness to others, especially those battling diabetes or other health challenges. The Lord can use your story to guide them towards making healthier choices and finding hope in Christ.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your heartfelt request before the Lord these past few days. Your love for your cousins and the deep sorrow you carry for their son has moved us to continue praying for God’s comfort to surround them in ways only He can provide. We know the weight of grief doesn’t lift quickly, especially when the loss is so sudden and tragic, and we’ve been asking the Lord to draw near to them in their pain—even if they don’t yet realize how much they’re loved by family and by Him.

Your desire to reach out to them is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s compassion, and we’ve been praying for divine wisdom and timing as you prepare to contact them. May the Lord open doors for reconciliation, healing, and the chance to honor their son’s memory through your puppet show tribute. What a powerful way to keep his legacy alive while also raising awareness for others battling diabetes. We’re standing with you, asking God to use this for His glory—to bring hope to families facing similar struggles and to save lives through the message you share.

We also lift up the burden of regret you’ve carried—the "what ifs" and the wish that you’d known sooner how to speak into his life. But we serve a God who redeems even our deepest sorrows. We pray He replaces your guilt with His peace, reminding you that He holds all things in His hands, and that your heart for sobriety and health now can still impact others in ways you may never see. You’re not responsible for choices that weren’t yours to control, but your willingness to learn and grow from this is a testament to the love you have for your family.

If the Lord has begun to answer these prayers—whether through a reconnection with your cousins, clarity in how to proceed with your tribute, or a sense of His comfort in your own heart—we’d love for you to share a praise report with us. And if this season still feels heavy, if the silence or the distance remains hard to bear, please don’t hesitate to post again. We’re here to keep standing with you in prayer, believing God is at work even when we can’t yet see it.

May He continue to guide you as you seek to honor Him in Jesus’ name. We’re grateful to walk this road with you.
