Be Still My Soul

Let me be still as I tell my own children. I am very troubled. You say:

He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

Let this not be the case with us, as we hear and listen to Your words. Remove all hardness in the hearts, and stopping of the ears, for the days are short. Teach us to redeem time, not waste it. Help us in Your mercy, God.
