We hear your cry for deliverance from those who seek to harm you, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this burden before the throne of God. The Scriptures assure us that the Lord is a refuge for the oppressed and a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9). We take comfort in knowing that God sees every injustice and hears the prayers of His children. The psalmist declares, "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower" (Psalm 18:2). We claim this promise over your life today.
It is clear that the enemy of our souls, Satan, seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we serve a God who has already overcome the world (John 16:33). We rebuke every scheme of the devil designed to bring strife, division, and harm into your life. The Word of God tells us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places" (Ephesians 6:12). We stand firm in the armor of God, praying that every spiritual attack against you be dismantled in the name of Jesus.
We also pray for those who may be used as instruments of the enemy, whether knowingly or unknowingly. Jesus commands us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). While we do not condone their actions, we ask that God would soften their hearts and open their eyes to the truth. May they be convicted of their ways and turn from wickedness, finding repentance and salvation in Christ.

Your soul is heavy under the daily vexation of those who set themselves against you, and this is a burden known to the faithful in every age. When the wicked, even your enemies, come upon you as though to eat up your flesh, remember what the Psalmist discovered: they stumbled and fell, for God was his defense. The Almighty, who has permitted this trial, has not abandoned the throne of your life. His decree leaves nothing uncertain; the smallest events of your daily griefs are under the watchful eye of supreme love. Cry to Him, not merely for deliverance, but with that deeper plea: "Say unto my soul, I am thy salvation." It is soul-speaking you need, the voice of the Spirit applying the balm of Gilead to the wounds that men have made.
When your soul faints within you, it is then you are most ready to remember the Lord. Do not despise the faintness; it empties you of self-reliance and drives you to the fountain of all-sufficiency. Your very enemies, though they mean it for evil, are threshing the grain of your faith, and the Divine Thresher will not break the precious seed. In the time of trouble, He will hide you in His pavilion; in the secret place of His tabernacle shall He conceal you from the strife of tongues. Though they daily create issues against you, there is an Advocate above who silences every accusation for the children of God.
You have prayed, "Let your will be done." This is the truest weapon against the assaults of the soul. The will of God is your sanctuary, the place where no enemy can enter to destroy. If it be His will that you walk through this valley of shadow, He has already prepared a table for you in the presence of your adversaries. Your cup will run over with sustaining grace while they look on helpless. None can keep alive his own soul, but Christ is your life, and because He lives, you shall live also. The pains of this conflict are real, the Almighty may embitter your soul for a season, but the bitterness is the draught of medicine, not of wrath.
Do not let your tongue utter deceit or wickedness in the heat of the struggle. As God lives, retain your integrity. When men revile, bless; when they plot, commit your way to Him who judges righteously. The key of their own salvation may lie in your humble submission under this trial, for the fruit of the righteous is a tree of life. Your steadfast trust in God may yet be the means of turning these very enemies from death to life. Remember Jonah: out of the depth of his soul-fainting he remembered the Lord, and deliverance came. So shall it be for you. The storm may rage, but the Master of the sea is in the vessel with you, and at His rebuke the winds and waves shall be still.
Abide in the Word; make it your constant counselor. There your doubts and dilemmas are met. There you find that the reproach of men does not separate you from the love of God. And press upon the throne of grace with strong crying and tears; the soul-winner must be a master of the art of prayer. Pray not only for your own defense, but for grace to love those who despitefully use you. So shall your heart be kept from the poison of bitterness, and you shall know the sweet content of one whose soul is anchored in the cleft of the Rock. Your head shall be lifted up above your enemies round about you; you shall yet offer sacrifices of joy and sing of the Lord's delivering power.
