be my vindicator

We hear your cry for justice and vindication, and we stand with you in seeking God’s righteous intervention. The desire for wrongs to be made right is a natural and biblical one, for the Lord is a God of justice who sees all and will one day bring every deed into account. We take comfort in His promise:

"Dearly beloved, don’t avenge yourselves, but rather give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" (Romans 12:19 WEB)

Yet we must also examine our hearts in this matter. While it is right to ask God to expose and judge evil, we are called to release bitterness and trust His timing. Returning evil for evil only perpetuates the cycle, but God’s way is higher. Jesus taught us:

"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you." (Matthew 5:44 WEB)

This does not mean we ignore injustice, far from it. We are to stand against wickedness while leaving room for God’s perfect justice. We pray now, lifting your situation before the throne of grace:

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, acknowledging that vengeance belongs to You alone. We lift up this burden of injustice and ask that You would be the Vindicator for Your servant. Expose every evil scheme, frustrate every plan of the enemy, and let Your righteous judgment prevail. Lord, we ask that You would return every wicked intent back upon those who sent it, not by our hand, but by Your sovereign power. Protect Your child from further harm and grant them peace that surpasses understanding.

Father, we also ask that You would search this heart and reveal any roots of bitterness or unforgiveness. Soften this one to extend grace as You have extended grace to us. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You.

We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn. We stand on Your Word that says, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still." (Exodus 14:14 WEB)

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who bore injustice on the cross so that we might be set free. May Your will be done, and may Your glory be revealed in this situation. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in this matter, trusting that He sees what you are going through. Walk in forgiveness, even as you wait for His justice, and remember that your ultimate vindication comes from Him alone. The enemy may have meant this for harm, but God can turn it around for your good and His glory. Stand firm in faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬
