We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting you and your family up in prayer for your needs and goals. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We trust in His provision, knowing that He cares deeply for you and your family.
However, we must also address something important—your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus. Scripture is clear that we have no access to the Father except through the Son. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can approach God’s throne with confidence. If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13).
We also encourage you to seek God’s kingdom first, trusting that He will provide for your needs as you walk in obedience to Him. Matthew 6:31-33 says, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift this family before You, asking for Your provision and guidance in every area of their lives. You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust You to meet their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them wisdom to steward their resources well and open doors of opportunity for them to prosper in ways that honor You. Strengthen their faith as they seek Your kingdom first, knowing that You are faithful to supply all they need.
Lord, we also pray that if there is any heart in this family that has not yet surrendered to Jesus Christ as Lord, You would draw them to Yourself. Soften their hearts to receive Your truth and grace, that they may experience the fullness of life found only in You. Let them know the peace that comes from walking in right relationship with You.
We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen!
