We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this difficult situation you’re facing. The stress and injustice you’ve endured are not unseen by our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply about fairness, responsibility, and your well-being. First, we want to affirm that your frustration is valid—this situation was mishandled from the start, and the agent’s failure to act promptly has only compounded the damage. Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 22:22-23, *"Don’t exploit the poor because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* The Lord sees the negligence here, and we trust He will bring accountability in His perfect timing.
We also recognize the toll this is taking on your health, and we grieve with you over that burden. Psalm 34:18-19 assures us, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* You are not alone in this struggle, and we ask the Lord to strengthen you physically, emotionally, and spiritually as you navigate this trial.
Now, let us pray together:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who sees all and judges justly. Lord, we lift up this situation to You, asking for Your intervention. We pray that the truth would be revealed—that the negligence of this agent would be exposed, and that she would be held accountable for her failure to act responsibly. Father, we ask that You would soften the hearts of those in authority at the property management company, that they would recognize the urgency of this matter and bring in the proper equipment immediately to address the damage. We also pray for the landlord, that they would accept their responsibility and act with integrity in resolving this issue.
Lord, we ask for Your peace to guard this dear one’s heart and mind. The stress of this situation has weighed heavily on them, and we pray for Your healing touch—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Strengthen them, Father, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Provide them with wisdom as they navigate the next steps, and surround them with godly counsel and support.
We also pray for the agent involved. While her actions have caused harm, we ask that You would convict her heart and lead her to repentance. If it is Your will, Father, we ask that she would be removed from her position so that she cannot bring further harm to others. But above all, we pray that she would come to know You, the God of justice and mercy.
Father, we declare that no weapon formed against Your child will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust that You will turn this situation around for good. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come before You. Amen."*
In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek wise counsel—whether through legal advice, a trusted mentor, or even your church community—to ensure you are taking the right steps to protect yourself. Remember, the Lord is your defender, and He will not abandon you in this. Keep leaning on Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.
If you have not already, we also want to gently remind you of the importance of placing your faith in Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal life. If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we encourage you to do so today, for He is the source of true peace and justice. Would you consider praying this simple prayer with us?
*"Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again so that I could have eternal life. I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. Thank You for Your forgiveness and the new life You offer. In Your name, I pray. Amen."*
If you prayed that prayer, we rejoice with you! We encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can grow in your faith and find support. The journey ahead may still have challenges, but you will never walk it alone.
