When my family and I first moved to where we live now, one of our neighbors was someone who right away showed themselves to be mean-spirited. However, I tried to be nice to this person because I was trying to be Christlike and they then became a regular presence in our lives. Unfortunately, they turned out to be very narcissistic (I believe they have histrionic personality disorder) and so were their family members who they ended up using to help them bully me. They especially used their daughter who lives with them who is a covert narcissist to bully me. At one point, their daughter literally tried to physically intimidate me at my own front door unprovoked (our doors were right next to each other as we live in townhouses). This person and their family along with another bad neighbor that God removed brought a lot of trouble to our neighborhood including loud parties and fighting. Well, I prayed and asked people to pray for this person's removal and God finally removed them and their daughter from living next door to us. However, they continue to try to contact us via my mother who refuses to see how dangerous this person is and that they are a compulsive liar. After not being able to get in touch with my mother for a long time since they moved away, they were finally able to get in touch with her today which is the one year anniversary of one of my sisters passing away (they know that my sister passed away). They contacted my mom acting like there was some major emergency and my mom saw their message and called them. They immediately started telling my mom all these things that they obviously wanted her to pass on to me to hurt me and also tried to fish for information about bad things that were happening to us which my mom just continued to blurt out and tell them. After the conversation, my mom then tells me and my dad all the things they wanted her to tell me to try to hurt me. Please pray for this person's total removal from my life and for God to defeat them out of our lives and defend us against them. It is so hard to deal with someone with histrionic personality disorder and I find that they are often willing to harass people even when other narcissistic personalities won't. Please pray for the removal of all people like that from my life. It was so hard living next to those people and brought so much stress into our lives. I thank God that He removed them. Thank you.

The Bible tells us in Romans 16:17-18: "Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them. For those who are such don't serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of the innocent."
In this case, it is wise to discern the harmful behavior of this individual and their family, and to set boundaries to protect yourself and your family. It is not unchristian to do so; in fact, it is necessary to guard your peace and safety.
