Hi everyone,
You prayed with me and for me and my daughter last year around this time and my ex-husband is at it again a year later & I need your prayers once again even though I'm most undeserving of them. The situation is below.
Currently there is no child support order for either myself or my ex-husband. There is however an order for each of us to pay for ½ of daycare expenses and for each of us to pay for ½ of our daughters health insurance premiums. My ex-husband is refusing to pay the daycare expenses justifying his position by saying he is not going to pay for daycare since he does not use it. He tells the court I’m not a good parent because I have to put our daughter in daycare.
My attorney submitted a letter to him reminding him that he is to pay me ½ of the daycare expenses and is also responsible for supplying me with monthly invoices for our daughters health insurance. He hasn’t supplied me with an invoice since September 2008 therefore I haven’t been paying it. As of right now he owes me more in daycare costs than I owe him in health insurance premiums.
When he received the letter from my attorney he responded by threatening to go to file an emergency hearing and prove I am in ‘contempt of court’ for not having paid the health insurance. He also threatened to take me back to court because he feels I’m a bad parent for placing her in daycare and he wants me to stop sending him daycare invoices. He has also threatened to sue me for child support since I remarried last August.
The last issue, hasn’t been brought up yet by him, but I fear it will, is the bruises she has on her legs due to her learning how to ride her bike without training wheels. He takes pictures of any bruises she has when she goes back home to him. This past weekend 80% of her time she was riding her bike, crashing, skidding, being a normal kid who is learning to ride her bike, etc…but it resulted in a lot of bruises to her shin area. I know that when he picks her up next he’s going to try to say it’s abusive, etc….since he’s always trying to take away custody. If I wasn’t 3 months away from giving birth to a 2nd child I could handle the stress much better. However, due to the fact I am going to have a baby in 3 months I just can’t imagine having to go to court, go to the mediator, and deal with his ridiculous allegations and deal with his threats to take her away. Please pray for the Lord to step in and take care of the matter before it goes any further.
