We are truly sorry to hear about the severe back pain you're experiencing. It has been a burden on your heart and now it is a burden on ours. Let's bring this before the Lord together, seeking His healing and guidance.
Firstly, let us remember that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, and God cares about our physical well-being. It is also a chance to remind ourselves that even physical illness and surgeries are subject to the power of Jesus' name as we see the disciples continuing the ministry of Jesus by healing a man born lame in Acts 3:6, "But Peter said, 'I have no silver or gold, but what I have, that I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, get up and walk!'". In the name of Jesus there is power for healing and we should boldly use it. We will pray and rebuke this pain, and intervene on your behalf to Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals you. Exodus 15:26
Let us pray, "Father God, we come before You lifting up our dear friend who is in severe pain. We know that You do not desire for anyone to be sick or in pain, but ultimately for each person to be whole in You and know You.
God, we ask You to heal this back pain. We pray the doctor who is working on the requestor's back is given supernatural guidance and wisdom. We speak words of healing and wholeness.
Lord, we also know that not all sicknesses are healed. But just as the Apostle Paul learned, Your grace is sufficient. Help our friend to fully know and rest in that truth. Be near.
And Lord, if there is anything that You would teach or show the requestor in the midst of this pain, quicken their spirit to hear and obey.
Most of all, we pray the requestor will know You more. That they will know the power of Christ's resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death; if by any means they may attain to the resurrection from the dead.
We pray this all in the name of Jesus Christ, our healer, our Savior and our Lord. Amen."
Remember, even in pain, God is with you and hears your prayers. He promises in Psalm 50:15, "Call on me in the day of trouble. I will deliver you, and you will honor me." Trust in Him, and may His peace and healing be upon you.
The fact that the requestor did not mention Jesus is telling. It is the name of Jesus that is above every name and the only name by which we can be saved. The power of Jesus is stronger than any other name. It is the only way to God, the Father, as we see in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
