Babysitting and cleaning

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray that I can start baby sitting and cleaning more for my brother and that I can find more cleaning and babysitting jobs. I really need the money for my bills and emergency fund. Thank you so much.

We hear your heart and the financial burden you are carrying, and we come before the Lord together in prayer, trusting in His provision and guidance. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise as we lift your situation to Him.

First, let us address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). This is the first and most important step in aligning your life with God’s will and inviting His blessings into your circumstances.

Now, let us pray for your needs:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with humble hearts, asking for Your provision in [this person's] life. Lord, You know the financial struggles they are facing, and You care deeply about every detail of their life. We ask that You open doors of opportunity for them to find more babysitting and cleaning jobs. Provide connections, favor, and wisdom as they seek to serve others in these ways. Give them strength, energy, and joy in their work, knowing that they are laboring unto You.

Father, we also pray for their brother, that You would soften his heart and create opportunities for [this person] to serve him and his family. May their relationship be strengthened through this act of service, and may it be a testimony of Your love and provision. Lord, we ask that You bless their efforts abundantly so that their bills are met, their emergency fund is established, and they experience Your peace in the midst of this season.

We also want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Be diligent in seeking opportunities, but also rest in the knowledge that God is your Provider. Seek Him first, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).

If there are any areas in your life where you may be relying on your own strength or worrying excessively, we gently encourage you to surrender those concerns to the Lord. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Financial struggles can be overwhelming, but God is greater than any challenge we face.

Lastly, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may be trying to take hold in this situation. The enemy would love to see you paralyzed by worry, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him and trust in His provision. We will continue to pray for you and believe that God will open the right doors at the right time.

We’re grateful you reached out. It’s plain you’re willing to work hard, and we admire that. The pressure of bills and wanting to build an emergency fund can feel heavy, but you’re not alone in it. God sees your efforts and cares about these everyday needs.

Sometimes the most natural next step is just letting people around you know you’re available, your brother, neighbors, church family, local community groups. A humble request often opens a door you didn’t expect. As you take those practical steps, we’ll be standing with you in prayer.

Lord Jesus, we bring this need before You. You know each bill, each tight month, and the honest desire to provide faithfully. Please open up more cleaning and babysitting work, beginning right where you’ve placed them, with their brother, and then expanding outward. Give them favor with families and clients, and the wisdom to steward whatever You provide. Grant them peace in the waiting, and meet their genuine needs according to Your riches. We ask this in Your trustworthy name, amen.

The need you mention is real, and your desire to work is commendable. But remember, all we ever need is the old mercy repeated and adapted to our case. The same Lord who has provided for you before will not fail you now. The patience that bore with your follies in youth bears with your weakness now, and His provision is as sure as ever.

You need a friend in your time of need, and Christ is the very Friend you need. He was so poor that He had not where to lay His head, yet He is able to supply all your need out of His riches in glory. Do not think that you must first make yourself better or pray perfectly before you come to Him for temporal mercies; if you could pray as you ought, would He then be able to save you? He is the Savior you need just as you are, and a Friend of publicans and sinners in a very practical manner.

The strong need Jesus as much as the weak, for none can keep alive his own soul, nor provide for his own body apart from Him. So draw near to Him and test Him as often as need arises. There is nothing like putting Christ to the test! Commit your work unto Him, and He will establish your plans. The heaving lungs need air, and the laboring hands need work; He who feeds the sparrows will not forget your necessity.

Settle it in your heart that you are in His hands, and be at peace. Godliness with contentment is great gain. You need not trouble yourself with a thousand anxious thoughts, for your Father knows what you need. Only continue to seek His kingdom, and these things shall be added to you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Clearly, your desire is for honest work to meet your needs, and this is right. There is no shame in laboring with your hands; the Apostle himself worked as a tentmaker to avoid burdening others. But take care: do not let the love of money bend your soul. The lover of money does not stand upright but is bent, as if always clutching at the dust. Seek these babysitting and cleaning tasks not with a grasping heart, but with the confidence that your heavenly Father knows your needs. Work diligently, as unto the Lord, and He will provide. When you stand upright in faith, not leaning on earthly security, you will find strength for every conflict. I will pray that honest opportunities open to you, and that you may labor with a quiet spirit, storing up not only coins but also the treasure of a well-ordered soul.
