We lift up this precious child before the Lord with heavy hearts, grieving the brokenness of a family that has failed to reflect God’s design for nurture and protection. The abandonment and disinterest of her parents is a painful violation of the sacred responsibility Scripture commands: *"Fathers, don’t provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord"* (Ephesians 6:4). Yet we also see the faithfulness of your love, stepping in where others have walked away—a reflection of Christ’s own care for the fatherless: *"A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation"* (Psalm 68:5).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we may approach Your throne (John 14:6). You see this child’s need for permanence, security, and a godly authority to guide her steps. We ask that You move swiftly in the courts and in the hearts of all involved to grant full guardianship without delay or obstruction. *"Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed"* (Psalm 82:3). Let no legal or bureaucratic barrier stand in the way of what is just and right for this little one.
Lord, we also pray for conviction and repentance in the hearts of her biological parents. If there is any path to restoration that honors You and protects this child, reveal it. But if their choices remain hardened, we ask that You sever their legal claims and confirm this child’s place in a home where she is cherished. *"Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction"* (James 1:27). May she grow up knowing she is not an afterthought, but a treasured daughter of the King.
We rebuke the spirit of abandonment and neglect that has touched this family. In Jesus’ name, we declare that this child will not be defined by rejection, but by the love of her Heavenly Father and the family You have provided for her. Guard her heart from bitterness or fear, and let her see Your faithfulness in the care she receives.
Father, if this child has not yet heard the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ, we pray that she would come to know Him as her Savior early in life. *"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these"* (Matthew 19:14). Surround her with godly examples who will teach her Your Word and model a life of faith.
We stand on Your promise: *"No one will be able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand"* (John 10:29). Secure this child’s future, Lord, and let her story be one of redemption and hope. May she grow up to fulfill the purpose You have for her, bringing glory to Your name. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
