Authorities victimizing hard working people

Anonymous

Beloved of All
In Jesus' name I pray for hard working people. Their shops being looted and their lives by disrupted by the authorities, the authorities who does not have Jesus in their hearts!

We hear your cry for justice and protection over hardworking people who are being victimized by those in authority. It is a grievous thing when those entrusted with power use it to oppress rather than serve, especially when their hearts are far from God. The Bible tells us in Romans 13:3-4 that rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to evil. Yet when authorities act unjustly, it is a perversion of their God-given role. We stand with you in lifting up these workers, who labor honestly and deserve to live in peace and security.

The looting and disruption of their lives is not only a violation of man’s law but of God’s law as well. Exodus 20:15 clearly states, "You shall not steal," and Proverbs 22:22-23 warns, "Don’t exploit the poor, because he is poor; and don’t crush the needy in court; for the Lord will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them." We rebuke the spirit of injustice and lawlessness that has taken hold in these situations. We declare that those who perpetrate such acts will not go unpunished, for God is a God of justice, and He sees all.

We also recognize the deeper spiritual battle at play. When authorities do not have Jesus in their hearts, their decisions are often guided by selfish ambition, greed, or even demonic influence rather than godly wisdom. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This is why prayer is so critical, we must intercede not only for the victims but also for those in power, that their hearts would be turned toward Christ.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the ultimate Authority and King of kings. We lift up the hardworking men and women who are suffering at the hands of unjust authorities. Lord, You see their struggles, their fears, and their losses. We ask that You would be their shield and defender, as Psalm 84:11 declares, "For the Lord God is a sun and a shield. The Lord will give grace and glory. No good thing will he withhold from those who walk blamelessly."

We pray for divine protection over their businesses, their families, and their livelihoods. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and frustrate the plans of those who seek to harm them. Let Your justice roll down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream, as Amos 5:24 proclaims. We ask that You would expose corruption and bring to light any hidden wickedness, for nothing is hidden from Your sight.

Father, we also pray for the authorities who are causing this harm. Soften their hearts, Lord, and convict them of their sin. Open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and the saving grace of Jesus Christ. As 1 Timothy 2:1-2 instructs, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." May they come to know You as their Lord and Savior, so that their actions may reflect Your love and justice.

We rebuke the spirit of oppression and lawlessness in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on Your promise that those who trust in You will not be put to shame.

Lord, provide for those who have lost so much. Restore what has been stolen, heal what has been broken, and renew their hope in You. Let them see Your hand moving on their behalf, and may they find their strength in You alone. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

To those who are suffering, we encourage you to hold fast to your faith. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s (2 Chronicles 20:15). Keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing on God’s Word. He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We hear the anger and fear behind your words, it’s painful to watch hard-working people lose what they’ve built, especially when those in authority seem callous or unjust. We’re standing with you in that ache. When people act without God’s love, they often leave a trail of wreckage, and it’s right to bring that hurt before the One who sees all things and promises to be a refuge for the upright.

In the middle of feeling powerless, one thing that can help is to link your prayers with concrete, faithful action. Consider reaching out to others in your community who have been affected, maybe a few shopkeepers or neighbors who also love the Lord. Grief and frustration grow heavier in isolation, but sharing the burden can lighten it, and together you can pray with even greater boldness for protection, provision, and for the hearts of those in authority to be turned. That kind of united prayer and mutual care is a way to push back against the darkness around you.

We also remember that God’s justice often works through human means. If you haven’t already, it may be wise to document the losses and seek whatever legal protections or community support systems are available. We’re not hoping against hope; we’re partnering with God in practical ways, even as we trust Him for what only He can do.

Lord, we lift these hard-working people to You. Shield them from further harm and restore what’s been taken, we ask. Bring wise, compassionate leadership into their paths, and hold accountable those who misuse their authority. Give them courage to keep going and to see Your faithfulness in the middle of this trial. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The cry of the oppressed has entered into the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth, and He will not turn away from it. When hardworking souls see their shops looted and their lives disrupted by men who know not Christ, the trial is bitter indeed. Yet let us never forget that he who travels on the King’s Highway is under the King’s protection, but he who takes to byroads must protect himself. Let all who suffer examine their hearts and ways: are they cleaving to the truth of God as with hooks of steel, shunning the error that forfeits divine keeping? Are they walking in childlike trust, waiting daily upon God for guidance and leaning not upon their own understanding? For the promise of angelic charge is given to those who are in all their appointed ways, and no path of unbelief or unrighteousness can claim that perpetual, personal protection.

Justice itself prevents the Lord from demanding payment twice for the same sin, once at Calvary is enough. But to those who reject that ransom, God is great in power and will not at all acquit the wicked. This is not only a terror to the ungodly; it is the very foundation of our comfort. We need not take vengeance into our own hands, for the Judge of all the earth will do right. He is slow to anger and mighty in strength, a stronghold in the day of trouble. Pray, therefore, that these authorities who have not Jesus in their hearts may be brought to bow before His cross, where mercy and omnipotence meet. And until that day, commit your cause to Him who judges righteously, resting in the shelter of His wings, for the greatness of His power is just our protection.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Think on this: when you see the wicked prosper and the righteous suffer, your heart burns with a holy anger. But let that fire refine, not consume you. Look not at the men who wrong you, for they are blind instruments. Fix your gaze upon Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

He put the beginning in you when He sought you and chose you, though you had not chosen Him. And He will put on the end. The shopkeeper whose hands are calloused with honest toil, the laborer whose sweat mingles with the dust of the earth, these are not forgotten. The looters and corrupt authorities act as though there is no judgment, but their day is swiftly coming.

Do not let your heart be troubled by their seeming victory. For the apostle teaches us to run the race not by staring at the obstacles, but by looking to the Master. Christ Himself was stripped of His garments, mockingly arrayed, and His only earthly possession, His tunic, was gambled away by soldiers who had no law in their hearts. Did He curse them?

No, He prayed. So learn the art of running well. Let their hatred be the very ground you tread underfoot as you press toward the prize. When you see the unrighteous man strutting in his brief authority, remember he is but a breath.

Run with patience the race set before you, for He who began a good work in you will complete it. The end is not theft or displacement, but an unfading inheritance where no corrupt official can enter. Look to Christ, and you shall not stumble.
