Pray that my aunt and her family will be broken, repent, and hold onto the truth, at all costs. Pray that they will be truly strong in Christ, therefore pleasing God, and positively impacting the world.
Instead of leaning onto the Holy Spirit and obeying him, my aunt has decided to marry and idolize an apostate pastor. He is leading her away from almost all truths. It is so bad that she listens to only his preaching, casting the Holy Spirit aside, and calls her husband unbiased and her lordship. She goes as far as cutting vacations short so she can only listen to him on Sundays. The evil is very strong in her and husband's life. Her son is paying for their sins and is a rebel who pathologically lies to seem good in their eyes. Of course, instead of my aunt blaming her husband and herself for not raising my cousin properly, they blame his genetics because he's adopted and they need a frowsy excuse. She is very carnal, hateful, arrogant, and is vehemently against anything that is contrary to her husband's lies. She believes that her idolizing is "love" and her wrong beliefs and carnal actions are right, while everyone else's beliefs are wrong, therefore excusing my uncle's evil and lies.
When the Holy Spirit had me speak to her, she automatically decided that I was listening to Satan, considered me an infidel, and has ostracized me. She literally runs from the truth and will do whatever it takes not to hear it, including shutting out everyone, including God. Her husband is her god, and she deceives herself into believing that she is a strong Christian and is right with God.
