Dhitlor

Beloved Servant
Please pray for me about Satan using spiritually vulnerable people to randomly attack me to try to keep me bound in struggles with unforgiveness. It's constantly happening. Thank you.

We hear your cry and we stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting you up before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

We understand how weary you must feel when it seems like attacks are constantly coming through others to keep you bound. We want to remind you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Those spiritually vulnerable people are not your true enemy, they are being used by the enemy who prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8. Therefore we do not wrestle against people, but we take authority over the spiritual forces behind these attacks.

We also hear your honesty about struggling with unforgiveness, and we want to lovingly and firmly address this because it is the very place the enemy seeks to keep you bound. Scripture warns us not to give place to the devil Ephesians 4:27 and that when we hold onto anger and unforgiveness we give him a foothold. Unforgiveness is a chain that keeps us captive, but forgiveness sets us free. For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses Matthew 6:14-15. We are called to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32 and to bear with one another and forgive each other, just as the Lord forgave you, so also you should forgive Colossians 3:13. This does not mean what was done to you was okay or that you must trust unrepentant people, but it means releasing them to God and choosing to obey Christ by not holding the debt against them any longer. Vengeance belongs to God, He will repay Romans 12:19.

We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and victory over Satan. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, that we are saved Romans 10:9. And it is in His name that we have authority to resist the devil. So we urge you to call upon the name of Jesus Christ directly, for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13.

We rebuke the work of Satan against you and we declare that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. We resist the enemy on your behalf, knowing that if we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil, he will flee from us James 4:7.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You that You see our brother or sister and You know the constant attacks and the weariness caused by unforgiveness. Lord, we ask You to surround this dear one with Your protection and to put on them the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11 so they may stand against the schemes of the devil. We ask You to break every chain of unforgiveness that has kept them bound. Fill their heart with Your grace to forgive as You have forgiven them, to release every offense to You, and to be healed from the wounds these attacks have caused. Help them to bless those who curse them and pray for those who mistreat them Luke 6:28, not in their own strength but by Your Holy Spirit. We command the enemy to leave and we declare that no weapon that is formed against them will prosper. Give them a renewed mind and a heart of peace, and let them know the freedom that comes from walking in forgiveness and in the victory of Jesus Christ. We ask that You also have mercy on those spiritually vulnerable people being used to attack, and draw them to Yourself. We trust You to be their defender and their deliverer. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.

We encourage you to stay in the Word daily, to put on the armor of God each morning, to pray for those who come against you, and each time unforgiveness rises up, to immediately choose to forgive and hand that person and that pain to Jesus. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4. You are not alone and you are not defeated, for in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us Romans 8:37. Keep submitting to God, keep resisting the enemy in Jesus name, and keep walking in forgiveness, and you will see the Lord bring freedom and peace.

We hear how wearying this has been, like you take a step toward letting go and then another hurt comes out of nowhere and pulls you back into that old knot of anger and hurt. Thank you for being honest about it.

One thing that has helped others is understanding there are two parts to forgiveness. One is a quiet decision to release the debt and not chase payback or hold the person in contempt, even when the hurt is still real. The other is the slower softening of the emotions, where resentment and fear gradually give way to more peace. That second part often moves up and down with moods and fresh triggers, so feeling the sting again does not mean your decision did not count.

When those random attacks come, it can help to have a simple practiced response. Pause and in your own words tell the Lord you are handing that person and that moment over to Him again, reaffirming your decision to not hold the debt. Later when you are calm, you might note what happened and how you responded, so you can see patterns and talk them through with a trusted pastor or counselor who knows you.

We are praying for you.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus name. Guard their heart and mind, quiet the constant jabs, and give steady wisdom to keep choosing release while You do the deeper healing in Your time. Surround them with Your peace and with people who are safe. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request has been heard and it is laid before the Lord with earnest entreaty on your behalf, for you describe a sore trial indeed, to be set upon again and again by those who are themselves spiritually vulnerable, and to feel the malice of the enemy seeking to keep you bound in the pit of unforgiveness.

Be assured that nothing of this escapes the eye of your heavenly Father. Troubles do not spring out of the dust, neither does affliction grow up from the ground, but the Lord Himself kindles the fiery furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. My enemy struck at me and he might make me fall, but in very truth my gracious God was using him to chasten me that I might not fall. The enemy is moved by malice, but God is working by him in love to your soul. That which we receive from the rod of the Lord bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a father's hand, and this makes even the sharpest smart to be profitable. He permits these repeated attacks not that you should be destroyed by them, but that you should be weaned from self and driven to look altogether and alone to Him for deliverance.

For this bondage of unforgiveness is a pit, and you cannot break its bars by your own power. There is a prison of past guilt and present bitterness whose bars you can never break. But let it never be forgotten that in all that God does He acts from good reasons, and He has invented a way of deliverance which no man would have thought of. Then He is gracious unto him and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. God has not only invented a way, but He has found a ransom, and it is the gift of Divine Love in His Son Jesus Christ. If He who held you in bondage has found a ransom, you must feel certain of your liberty, for He will hold you in bondage no longer. Our Lord Jesus has loosened the captive by His blood, and there is no true liberty but that of which Christ makes you free.

Know also that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. You are not only to be forgiven through the ransom, but to be delivered from the fascinating power of darkness that would hold you in unforgiveness. This is not bondage to be endured again and again under the spirit of fear, for we have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but the Spirit of adoption whereby we cry, Abba, Father. He who has taught you the mischief that comes from clinging to bitterness can make you to say, He has delivered us from the power of darkness.

Therefore look to Christ alone. Confess before Him the struggle to forgive, and ask Him to work in you that forgiveness which He has first shown to you, for He bore your punishment that you might be washed thoroughly from iniquity. Pray that the Lord would give you grace to forgive even as you have been forgiven, not in your own strength, but by His power working in you.

We pray for you now, that the Lord would be gracious unto you and say, Deliver him from going down to the Pit. That He would save you from yourself and from all the attacks of your old sins, save you from the devil and from evil company, and keep back your soul from the Pit. That He would break the chain of unforgiveness and give you the Spirit of adoption and peace, and that being delivered you may live and declare the works of the Lord, giving testimony that His mercy endures and His ransom is sufficient. May you be kept from the poisoned arrow of bitterness and find that He who refines you in the furnace will bring you forth as gold, to His praise alone.

We have heard your request and we are praying for you in this constant and wearing struggle with attacks and with unforgiveness.

It is a heavy burden when it feels like others are being used to provoke you again and again, and when the wound of unforgiveness will not close. God sees this weariness and He hears your cry for help. He does not leave you to fight this alone.

Scripture teaches us that to bear the spiteful acts of others with meekness is not a loss but a gain. When we do so, God works in us deliverance, fortitude and patience, mildness and benevolence. The one who learns not to be angry with those who grieve him becomes more ready to serve those who love him. To be free from anger is to be free from the despondency and vain sorrows that come with it. In this way we punish ourselves by hating others, and we benefit ourselves by loving them. That love is not natural to us, it is a gift of grace.

We also remember that all have sinned and all need the same mercy. The one who has been delivered from evil ought not to reproach others who are still vulnerable, but to pray for them and to give thanks to God who has granted deliverance. Your own forgiveness has come not from your strength but from the grace of God through Jesus Christ alone, who died and rose to set you free. Remembering what you have been forgiven helps soften the heart toward those who now grieve you.

So we pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, we lift this dear one to You through Jesus Christ Your Son. You know every attack, every word and act that has wounded, and You know the struggle to forgive. Grant deliverance from sin and from the bitterness that seeks to bind. Grant fortitude and patience to endure without retaliation, and a gentle and mild spirit that does not seek eye for eye but seeks to preserve and to bless. Free this heart from anger and from the despondency that follows it, and fill it with Your pleasure and peace. Teach what it means to love those who cause pain, to pray for them rather than hate them, and to rest in Your grace rather than in personal strength. Comfort in mourning, and lift above these sorrows by Your love, so that even if these trials continue, there may be strength to despise their power and to walk in forgiveness as You have forgiven. Keep this one in Christ, guarded from the schemes of the evil one, and make the heart firm in mercy and hope.

We encourage you to keep bringing this struggle to God daily, to ask Him to help you pray for those who attack you by name, and to recall regularly how much you have been forgiven in Christ. If the attacks continue, know that God often does more than simply remove the trial, He sets you above it and forms Christlike character through it. Seek fellowship with faithful believers who can stand with you, and do not stand by as a spectator to strife but seek peace where you can.

May the Lord grant you rest from anger, joy in His mercy, and a heart that is free to forgive as you have been forgiven.

Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you are going through. What you describe is a real spiritual battle, and it is painful when it comes through people around you again and again, especially when the aim is to keep you trapped in unforgiveness.

Scripture is clear that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. The enemy is intelligent and seeks to use spiritually vulnerable people to harass and distract. Even after seasons of great blessing there is no automatic immunity from his attacks. He often comes right after God has done a work in us to try to undo or distract from it. Physical effort or argument has no value in this kind of battle. God has given us spiritual protection for this very reason.

You can take your stand in what Christ has already finished for you. You have been saved through Jesus from the tyranny of sin and the flesh, and that salvation is like a helmet guarding your mind. Faith in God's power and presence is a shield. The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit. When Jesus was attacked and tempted, He answered each attack with what is written. Hiding God's Word in your heart, speaking it back against lies and accusations, and praying in the Spirit are the ways you refuse the enemy's work.

It helps to remember two things together. First, pray and keep watch. Like Nehemiah when his people were worn down by constant harassment, he prayed to God and kept a watch, and he encouraged the people not to be afraid but to remember the Lord. Remembering who the Lord is and what He has promised is the cure for fear. You do not have to chase down every attack or spend your life defending yourself against every word spoken against you. That itself can become a distraction. Bring it to the Lord in prayer, stay alert, and keep your eyes on Him.

Second, rejoice that God has given you His Spirit and His armor, and that greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. God makes a separation for His own. Those who belong to Him are sealed and kept, and the enemy cannot go beyond what God allows. God is righteous, and He sees the affliction you are enduring. The suffering you experience for living faithfully in Christ is not forgotten by Him, and He will judge righteously in His time. At the same time, He often uses these very pressures to strengthen true faith, to deepen love among believers, and to make us stand more firmly in Him.

The specific area you mentioned, unforgiveness, is where the enemy wants to keep you bound. Unforgiveness gives him a foothold. Forgiveness does not mean what was done was right, and it does not depend on feeling ready. It is an act of obedience and trust, releasing the person and the hurt to God and choosing to forgive as Christ has forgiven you. As you walk that out day by day, asking God to help you by His Spirit, the chain of bitterness is broken. Where you have been hurt, ask the Lord to help you bless those who have hurt you and to guard your heart from returning evil for evil.

You are not alone in this. All who seek to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will face opposition in some form. Do not be intimidated by it. Keep walking with Jesus, keep His Word before you, and keep forgiving as He enables you.

I am praying for you, that God will fill you with His peace, strengthen your faith, guard your mind and heart in Christ, teach you to answer every attack with His Word, and give you grace to release every hurt to Him. May He lift the weight of unforgiveness, heal what has been wounded, and cause your faith and love to grow even through this trial, and may you know deeply the power of His presence with you and His righteous care over your life.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning the spiritual attacks you have been facing.

We have been lifting you up before the Lord and asking for His protection and deliverance. We understand how heavy and constant it feels when Satan uses spiritually vulnerable people to randomly attack you and to try to keep you bound in struggles with unforgiveness. We do not take this lightly and we continue to stand with you against the schemes of the enemy, remembering what is written in Eph 6:12 that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. We have been praying that God will guard your heart and mind, close the door to the enemy, and give you strength to walk in freedom.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will surround you with His peace and shield you from these attacks. We ask Him to help you to release all unforgiveness and to walk in the forgiveness that He has shown us, as we are reminded in Eph 4:32 to be kind and compassionate to one another forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave us. We pray that as you submit yourself to God and resist the devil as taught in James 4:7, the enemy will have to flee from you, and that you will know the truth that in Christ you are no longer bound.

If your request was answered and the Lord has brought you peace and victory over these attacks and over unforgiveness, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered and the attacks continue, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep standing with you until you see breakthrough.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray in Jesus Name, Amen.
