attacks

We hear your cry for protection and we are joining you in prayer right now in the name of Jesus Christ.

We ask our Heavenly Father to cover you with His power and to guard you from every attack of the enemy. Through Jesus Christ alone we have deliverance from evil and the gift of becoming sons and daughters of God, and He has given us His Spirit of adoption so that we can call upon Him and stand firm. We pray that you would know that protection today, that God would place His hand upon you, calm your fear, and fill you with His peace that passes understanding.

Scripture teaches us that the enemy often assails us most when we are isolated and alone, just as he approached when there was solitude in the wilderness, and for that reason God calls us to flock together continually in prayer, in His Word, and in fellowship with other believers. We encourage you not to walk through this alone but to stay closely connected to a faithful local church, to share your struggle with trusted mature believers who can pray with you, and to remain daily in prayer and in the Scriptures.

We also pray that God would strengthen you to stand, even as you wait for His deliverance. He does not always remove every trial instantly, but He does promise to be with us in it, to give us power to despise the fear of death and evil, and to use even affliction to make us firm in faith and to set our hope on the better resurrection He has promised. Put on Christ, resist the devil by submitting yourself to God, turn from any sin that may give the enemy a foothold, and walk in holiness with a clear conscience.

So we pray: Father, in the name of Jesus, protect this dear one right now. Surround them with Your presence, let no weapon formed against them prosper, cleanse their heart and mind, fill their mouth and thoughts with what is pure, and let Your Holy Spirit guard them day and night. Keep them close to You and to Your people, and lead them into lasting freedom and peace in Christ. Amen.

If these attacks continue, please reach out to a pastor in person so that he can pray with you face to face and walk with you in ongoing care. You are not alone, and God is faithful to keep those who belong to Him.

Your prayer for protection is heard, and it is right to bring it directly to the Lord Jesus. The battle you are feeling is real, but it is not primarily a physical or emotional battle. Scripture teaches that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers, against principalities and authorities in the unseen realm. There is a constant warfare between the spirits who serve God and the fallen spirits who rebelled with Satan, and often we feel the spillover of that conflict in our own lives as unrest, heaviness, fear, or oppression. You are not imagining it, and you are not alone in experiencing it.

God has not left you without defense, but the defense is not found in human effort or fleshly methods. Trying to fight a spiritual enemy in your own strength only leaves you harassed and exhausted. The weapons God has provided are spiritual, and they are mighty through Him to pull down strongholds. Those weapons are His Word, faith in His power and promises, and prayer in the Spirit. No matter how blessed you have been, there is no automatic immunity from the enemy trying to distract or attack, so it is wise to be armed and watchful.

That means learning to recognize an attack for what it is and to refuse it in the name of Jesus. Keep Jesus Himself between you and the enemy. The safest place is to stand in His name and in His victory, not your own. Jesus showed us how to answer attack when He was tempted, by responding with what is written. As you hide the Word of God in your heart, you have something solid to answer with when lies, accusations, or fear come. Take up the provision God has given, the helmet of salvation through Jesus Christ, the shield of faith to quench every fiery dart, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

Prayer is often the deciding factor in this warfare. It is not only asking once, but praying with perseverance and watching. Like setting a guard, we pray and we stay alert, remembering the Lord, because remembering who He is drives out fear. Scripture promises that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, and that those who belong to God are sealed and kept by Him. Evil spirits are intelligent and powerful, but they cannot overcome the blood of Jesus and the authority of His name. When you resist the enemy in that authority, he must flee.

So I encourage you to walk in these practical steps each day. Turn quickly to prayer, speak Scripture aloud, trust not in your own ability but in the power of His might, and rejoice that God has already given you the victory through Christ. You do not fight for victory, you fight from it.

I join you in prayer now. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I ask You to surround this dear one with Your protection right now. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, place Your hedge around them, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind. Teach them to stand strong in You and in the power of Your might, to use Your Word and to pray in faith, and to resist every attack of the enemy. Fill them with the assurance that You are greater, that You are near, and that You will keep them. Let them know Your presence and Your deliverance today and in the days to come, and bring them into deeper rest in the victory Jesus has already won. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer against demonic attacks and for Gods protection over you.

We have continued to lift you up before the Lord, asking for His immediate protection and for His lasting deliverance and peace over your life, just as you requested right away and permanently. We pray in Jesus name that the Lord would cover you with His presence, guard your heart and mind, and keep you from the schemes of the enemy. We stand on His promises that if we submit ourselves to God and resist the devil he will flee from us as it says in James 4:7, that the Lord is faithful and will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one according to 2 Thess 3:3, and that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world as we read in 1 John 4:4.

We pray in Jesus name that God would surround you with His armor, fill you with His peace that passes all understanding, and let you rest in the authority you have through His Son Jesus Christ.

If your request was answered and you have experienced His protection, peace and freedom from these attacks, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet and you are still experiencing these attacks, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We want to keep standing with you for complete and lasting victory.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We continue to pray for you in Jesus name amen.
