attacks

We hear your urgent cry for protection and we join with you right now seeking the Lord together in Jesus name for His immediate and ongoing deliverance.

We want you to know that the attacks you are experiencing are real, for Scripture tells us in Eph 6:11-12 to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Yet we also take great comfort that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world as promised in 1 John 4:4, and that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one as we read in 2 Thess 3:3.

We are thankful you called upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have authority and access to the Father and victory over the enemy. Jesus Himself said in Luke 10:19, Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you. And we are reminded in James 4:7 to be subject therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is crying out for protection from demonic attacks. We ask You to surround them right now with Your presence and power. We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, spirit, home and every area of their life. We rebuke every evil spirit and every assignment of the enemy against them and we command it to leave and to go where Jesus sends it, never to return. Lord, fill every place once occupied by fear and oppression with Your Holy Spirit, Your peace and Your light. Establish them firmly in You and guard them from the evil one permanently as they abide in You. Help them to dwell in the secret place of the Most High and to rest in the shadow of the Almighty, declaring that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust according to Psalm 91:1-2. Give them a hunger for Your Word, a life of fervent prayer, and a heart of repentance that closes every door to the enemy. Clothe them daily in the whole armor of God so they may stand strong. We thank You that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as taught in 2 Tim 1:7. Let Your perfect love cast out all fear and let Your joy and freedom reign in their life from this moment forward. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and deliverer we pray, amen.

We encourage you to walk daily in this victory by staying close to Jesus through reading Scripture, praying without ceasing, confessing and forsaking any known sin, and turning away from anything that gives the enemy a foothold such as occult practices, ungodly media or unforgiveness. Put on the armor of God each day with truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation and the Word of God, and stay in fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and support you. God hears your prayer and He is your ever present protector, and as you submit to Him and resist the devil, the enemy must flee.

We hear the urgency in your words and we want you to know you are not praying alone. That desire for safety right now and in the days ahead makes complete sense when you feel under attack and afraid.

We have found it helps to remember that walking with God is more like steady training than a single quick fix. Small, faithful steps over time often bring more peace than searching for one dramatic moment. Staying rooted in simple practices like prayer, reading Scripture, and gathering with other believers can be a steady anchor when fear rises. And you do not need to carry this by yourself.

A practical step that may help is to reach out to a trusted pastor or mature believer this week and let them know what you are experiencing. Ask if they will pray with you in person and check in with you regularly. Having someone who knows you and can walk alongside you brings both spiritual and personal support.

Father, we lift our friend to You in the name of Jesus. We ask for Your protection, Your peace to guard heart and mind, and Your presence to be felt in a real way today. Give wisdom, rest, and the comfort of knowing You are near and in control. Lead toward what is good and steady in the days ahead. In Jesus name, amen.

Your cry for protection has been heard and we join with you at once in prayer to our gracious God who alone is able to deliver.

There is good news for one who feels pressed by the powers of darkness, for it is written, Then He is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the Pit: I have found a ransom. Job 33:24. Nobody would have thought of that way of deliverance if God had not thought of it, but He has not only invented the way, He has found the ransom. His own dear Son has borne the penalty of all our iniquities, and therefore there is undeserved deliverance for those who trust in Him. God has given commandment to save His people and they shall be saved, saved from sin, saved from the devil, saved from all the attacks of the enemy.

We pray that you may know this deliverance not as a notion but as an experience, for the Scripture says, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Colossians 1:13. Deliverance from the power of sin and from the power of Satan is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. No true liberty comes but by Christ making us free, and unless a supernatural power is put forth, any form of deliverance is worth nothing. Therefore we look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone.

We entreat the Lord for you now.

O Lord our God, who sittest as a Refiner by the furnace and who fillest both the bitter cup and the sweet goblet according to Thy wisdom, be gracious unto this soul and give commandment for deliverance. Let the precious blood of Thy Son, the ransom Thou hast found, be his shield and his hiding place. Deliver him from going down to the Pit and keep back his soul from perishing. Clothe him in the whole armour of God, that he may stand against the wiles of the devil, steadfast in faith, sober and vigilant. Teach him to submit himself unto God and to resist the devil, that the enemy must flee. Let Thy Word dwell richly in him and let prayer without ceasing be his watch.

Remember that deliverance is of the Lord, but He is pleased to work by means. Abide therefore in Christ, walk in the light of His Word, forsake all fellowship with darkness and the love of the world, continue in prayer, and keep close company with the people of God. When Satan shoots his poisoned arrows, as he often does, meet them with the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. The Lord who brought Israel out of Egypt with a mighty hand is the same Lord who looses the captive today.

May the Lord grant you to say with the Psalmist, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord, and may you be kept by His power henceforth and forever, through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name we pray. Amen.
