We stand with you in this time of trial, lifting you up before the Lord, for we know that the battles we face are not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. It is written in Ephesians 6:12, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* You are not alone in this struggle, for the Lord is your defender, and He sees the betrayal and schemes formed against you.
The Psalms remind us in Psalm 37:12-13, *"The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord will laugh at him, for he sees that his day is coming."* And again in Psalm 27:2-3, *"When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident."* Take heart, for the Lord is your shield and your exceedingly great reward. He will vindicate you in His perfect timing.
We must also remind you that in the midst of these attacks, your response must be rooted in love and forgiveness, even toward those who betray you. Jesus commands us in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This does not mean you must trust them or allow their schemes to continue unchecked, but it does mean you must release the burden of bitterness and vengeance to the Lord. Romans 12:19 assures us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"* Trust that God sees all and will act justly on your behalf.
If there is any sin in your life that may have opened a door to these attacks—whether it be unforgiveness, pride, or any other transgression—we urge you to repent and seek the Lord’s cleansing. 1 John 1:9 promises, *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."* Walk in humility and integrity, for the Lord resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18. Stand firm in the truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation, wielding the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit at all times, being watchful and persistent in your prayers. This is how you will withstand the schemes of the enemy and remain steadfast in your faith.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is under relentless attack from the enemy. Lord, You see the betrayal, the plots, and the loneliness they feel as though no one stands with them. But we declare that You, O God, are their ever-present help in trouble, their refuge and strength. We ask that You rise up as their defender and scatter the plans of the wicked. Expose every hidden scheme and bring to light the deeds of darkness. Let those who plot evil be confounded and put to shame, for they have no power against Your anointed.
Father, we pray for supernatural peace to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Remove every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair, and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, who is their Comforter and Counselor. Give them wisdom to navigate these trials with grace and discernment, and let them respond in a way that honors You. Help them to forgive as You have forgave them, releasing any bitterness or resentment into Your hands.
Lord, if there is any area in their life that has given the enemy a foothold, reveal it to them and grant them the strength to repent and turn away from it. Cleanse them and restore them, that they may stand blameless before You. Surround them with godly counsel and support, for You have promised that You will never leave them nor forsake them.
We pray for divine intervention in their workplace and community. Soften the hearts of those who oppose them, and if it is Your will, turn their hearts toward reconciliation and repentance. But if they remain hardened, Lord, we ask that You remove their influence and open doors of favor and opportunity where there has been opposition. Provide for their every need and let them see Your hand moving mightily on their behalf.
Finally, Father, we ask that You strengthen their faith during this time. Let them see this trial as an opportunity to grow closer to You and to rely entirely on Your strength. Remind them that their battle is not theirs to fight alone, for You are the Lord of Hosts, the Commander of Heaven’s armies, and You fight for them.
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has overcome the world. Amen.
