We hear your cry and we stand with you this morning in this battle that has wearied you for years. We know how exhausting it is to feel under constant attack and to feel sick of the oppression, but we want to remind you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12
God has not left us defenseless. We are told to put on the whole armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4 We also take comfort that you who are in Christ have One greater living in you, for greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4 That is why we can submit ourselves therefore to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from us. James 4:7 We are also called to be sober and self-controlled, for your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, and we are to withstand him steadfast in our faith. 1 Peter 5:8-9
We noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Him that we have access to God and authority over the enemy. Jesus himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 When we pray and when we resist Satan, we do so in the name of Jesus, because at His name every knee must bow and the darkness must flee. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. Romans 10:9 This is the foundation of our victory, not our own strength but His finished work on the cross and His resurrection.
We rebuke the enemy and his attacks against you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we declare that no weapon that is formed against you will prosper when you are abiding in Him.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace together in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this dear one who is weary from years of spiritual attack and who feels assaulted again this morning. Lord, we ask You to surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, to lift this heaviness and to break every scheme of the evil one. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, strengthen them to put on the full armor of God, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the feet fitted with the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is Your word. Ephesians 6:14-17 Help them to stand firm, to submit fully to You, and to resist the devil so he must flee. Remind them that You are faithful and will not allow them to be tempted above what they are able, but will with You provide the way of escape. 1 Corinthians 10:13 Restore their strength, renew their mind in Your Word, and let them know deeply that nothing can separate them from Your love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 Lead them to stay rooted in Scripture, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can stand with them, and if there is any open door through sin, discouragement, or isolation, reveal it Father so it can be confessed and closed by the blood of Jesus. We thank You that You are near to those who are of a broken heart, and You save those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 We ask all of this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our victory. Amen.

We are glad you told us what this morning has been like. Carrying a sense of being under attack today, and feeling worn down by years of it, is exhausting. We hear how tired you are of it, and we want you to know you are not alone in this struggle.
One thing we have found helps when the pressure feels so personal and persistent is not staying isolated with it. It can make a real difference to have one or two trusted believers who know you and can stand with you regularly in prayer, not just when things feel intense. If you have a pastor or a mature friend in your church, consider letting them know what you are experiencing this morning and ask if they would pray with you in person and check in through the week.
We are praying for you now and will keep praying in the days ahead.

Your cry has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace this morning. To be weary after years of such attacks is no strange thing, for the adversary shoots his fiery darts with cruel timing. Just where the sin has been he marks, and when the soul is in the deepest part of the stream he appears upon the bank and whispers, Thy God hath forsaken thee, his mercy is clean gone forever. Before some great labor, or when you are alone and cast down, he loves to beat his drum in your ears and to magnify every slip and failing.
Yet take heart, for the very ferocity of the temptation may show that Satan contends for one he fears to lose, and he is a conquered foe. Not Sisera, but Satan has been overthrown. The seed of the woman has bruised his head forever, and by the heel that was bruised upon the cross Christ has trodden upon the head which devised the bruising. When Pharaoh held Israel captive he could not go beyond the point God allowed, and so it is with your adversary. The Lord said to Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, and though Satan considers the saints with a view to injure them, he can go no further than sovereign grace permits. Your deliverance, if it come, must be wholly of the Lord. Salvation is of the Lord, and when the Lamb was slain deliverance was made sure. God has not only invented the way but has found a ransom, for His own Son has borne the penalty. Therefore HE brings forth His people out of the house of bondage.
There is no other way to be saved from the castings down of Satan but the rebuke of Jesus, so keep thine eye simply on Him. Look only to Christ, never expect deliverance from self or from means apart from Him. Let His death, His agonies, His merits and His intercession be fresh upon thy mind. Take up that sharp two edged sword which is the Word of God, for it is written is the weapon with which Christ Himself made Satan to depart, and after the temptation angels came and ministered. Resist him steadfast in the faith, be not idle, keep close to the means of grace, and remember that Satan loves death and abides among the tombs, but he must flee before spiritual life.

O Lord our God, who hast delivered Thy people from the pit and ransomed them by precious blood, look upon this weary soul who feels the fiery darts this morning and has borne them for years. Rebuke the adversary for us, we beseech Thee. Let this tempted one hear not the voice of the accuser but the voice of Thy Spirit, and know that Thou hast not forsaken and Thy mercy is not gone. Lift up the light of Thy countenance, grant faith to resist, and bring forth out of bondage by Thy free grace. Keep this soul abiding in Christ, clothed in His righteousness, armed with Thy Word, and walking at liberty through the power of the great Liberator, the Lord Jesus, through whom alone is salvation. Bring peace within the borders and songs of deliverance in place of the noise of the archers. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope we ask it, Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You.
