Your heart for your children and your home comes through so clearly in this request, and the pain of feeling betrayed by your own mother is a deep wound. God sees that hurt, He knows the truth about who your daughter and your son belong to, and He knows every detail about your provision and your home. He is not distant from this conflict.
Scripture shows that being a child of God does not mean we will be free from battles and problems. Battles do come, even painful ones inside families. What it does mean is that we are not alone in them. God remains sovereign even when people make false claims or use legal papers against us. Long ago a government decree was issued that seemed only political, yet God used it to move a family from Nazareth to Bethlehem so that prophecy would be fulfilled. What people meant for their own purposes, God overruled for His good purpose. In the same way, no court paper or false statement is beyond His ability to overrule, to reveal truth, and to work for good.
God also cares deeply for children. Jesus placed a little child in the middle of His followers and taught that to receive such a child in His name is to receive Him, and He warned against despising one of these little ones. He calls us to come to Him with the humble, honest trust of a child. You do not need perfect or formal words. God hears the honest cry of your heart as you bring your fear, your anger, and your need for protection to Him. He also showed wisdom long ago when two women both claimed the same living child, and the truth of who the real mother was became clear. Pray that the same God who loves truth will cause what is true to be made plain in your situation.
God is your provider. He is not dependent on anyone else to keep His work going, and He does not go out of business. You need His support, and He is able to take care of you and your son. He has shown again and again that He can sustain a family even when support is withheld or threatened, because His resources are not limited.
So we pray with you now. Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for Your mercy and grace to rest on this dear parent and on both children. We ask that You defend them and that every plan meant for evil would fall short and not succeed. Let truth be revealed and let justice be done regarding these claims about parentage and support. We ask You to guard their provision, their home, and their daily needs, and to protect the purpose You have for their lives. Where the enemy has meant harm, we ask You to reverse it and turn it for good, for You have redeemed Your people from the curse and You work all things together for good for those who love You. We ask that You send Your angels to guard and help them, and that You bring trustworthy people around them to help and uphold them. Give wisdom to everyone who will make decisions in this case, give peace that guards the heart, and give strength to walk in honesty, humility, and childlike faith day by day. Keep this family close to You, and let them know they are held in Your hands. Amen.
