We lift you and your son before the Lord together and we stand with you in prayer for God's protection, provision, and justice to prevail in this painful situation with your mother and your daughter.
We understand the hurt of feeling betrayed by your own mother and the fear that comes when your home and provision feel threatened. The Lord sees what is done in secret and He is a God of truth and justice. We pray that every lie would be exposed and that the truth would come to light, for there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed. Luke 8:17. We ask the Lord to be your defender and advocate in this child support matter. If this claim is false, we pray the courts would discern the truth quickly and that no unjust order would stand against you. If there is a lawful responsibility you do have as a parent, we encourage you to walk in honesty and integrity before God and the court, trusting Him to provide as you do what is right. Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail. Proverbs 19:21.
We pray that no plan of the enemy against you, your son, your daughter, your home, or your purpose would succeed. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17. We ask the Father to contend with those who contend with you. Psalm 35:1. We pray He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. For He Himself has said, Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid nor be dismayed, for Yahweh your God himself is he who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:6. And the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7.
We also bring before the Lord your need for provision and a secure home. Our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. We pray He guards your income, your housing, and all He has entrusted to you, and that He would reverse any curse or evil intent and use it for your good, for we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. Galatians 3:13, so no curse spoken against you can stand when you are in Christ.
We are called to honor our parents even when the relationship is broken and painful. Honor your father and your mother. Exodus 20:12. This does not mean we allow lies or injustice to continue, but we do release bitterness and choose forgiveness as Christ forgave us. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. Ephesians 4:32. We pray for your mother as well, that God would soften her heart, convict her where there has been falsehood, and bring reconciliation where possible, or at least peace and boundaries that protect you and the children.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by believing that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again, and by calling on His name, that we are saved and our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus as Lord and Savior.
So together we pray, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ on behalf of this parent and this precious son and daughter. Lord, You see the pain of this betrayal and the attack on this family. We ask for Your mercy and grace to cover them. Expose every lie and let truth and justice prevail in this child support case. Defend them where they are innocent and give them wisdom to act righteously where responsibility is required. Protect their provision, their home, and their daily bread, and let no unjust taking occur. Guard their purpose and calling, and turn every evil plan meant for harm into good for Your glory. Send Your angels to guard, help and defend them, and send destiny helpers, godly advocates, counsel and support to stand with them. Heal the wound with their mother and bring Your peace that surpasses understanding into their hearts. Keep them close to You, under the shadow of Your wings. Psalm 91:1.
