We have read your request and we hear the confusion and distress in your words as you feel your body is under attack for no reason and you do not understand where it comes from. We want you to know that God sees you and knows exactly what is happening even when you do not, for He formed your body and He understands every part of it. We are standing with you in prayer and seeking His will together in Jesus' name.

The Bible tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, and that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. God cares deeply about your physical body and He is not the author of confusion or random attacks. Sometimes afflictions have natural causes that need care, and sometimes there is a spiritual dimension to what we feel, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. The enemy does seek to steal and to oppress, but we have weapons that are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4. We also take comfort that God is our healer, for He says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17, and by His wounds we are healed, Isaiah 53:5.

We notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved and our prayers heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. It is through His name we can boldly come before God for healing and peace.

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity, fear, and oppression that would come against your body without cause, and we speak against any attack of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus. We also encourage you not to remain in fear or confusion, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7, and we are called to trust in Yahweh with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding, Proverbs 3:5-6.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the attacks upon this body that feel so unexplained and frightening. We ask You to reveal what is hidden, to bring Your light and truth into this situation, and to grant wisdom and discernment. We pray for Your healing touch upon this body, for Your peace to guard heart and mind, for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. We ask You to strengthen this body which You created, for Your Spirit who raised Christ from the dead dwells within, Romans 8:11. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against this body and we ask for Your protection and restoration. Lead this dear one to trustworthy medical counsel if needed, and to Your Word for comfort and strength daily. Help them to call upon the name of Jesus and to rest in Your love and care. We pray for complete healing and wholeness according to Your will, and for faith to trust You even when understanding is lacking. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring your body and your concerns to God daily in the name of Jesus, to meditate on His promises of healing and protection, and to seek both prayer from faithful believers and wise medical advice as God leads. Keep asking, keep seeking, and trust that He who made you is faithful to care for you, for we know that He wishes above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers, 3 John 1:2.

We hear how confusing and wearying this has been, to feel your body under attack and not know why or where it is coming from. It makes sense you would feel unsettled and have a lot of questions when there is no clear reason for what you are going through. You are not alone in that, and we are holding you in prayer.

We do not have an explanation for why this is happening, but we believe God sees you in it and cares about both your body and your peace of mind. When symptoms feel random or frightening, it can help to have someone walk with you closely, both spiritually and practically, so you do not have to carry the uncertainty by yourself.

If you have not already, we encourage you to share what you have been experiencing with a trusted medical provider who can listen carefully and help look into what might be happening, alongside prayer. Bringing someone you trust with you to that visit, and writing down when you notice these attacks and what they feel like, can make it easier to describe.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You know the distress and confusion they feel in their body. We ask for Your nearness and peace over them today, for wisdom for those caring for them, and for clear next steps toward understanding and relief. We trust them into Your loving hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry concerning your body has been laid before the Lord, and He has heard the sigh of one who feels attacked without cause or understanding.

There are afflictions which come upon us and we cannot trace their reason, and the soul is left to say with the Psalmist, this is my affliction. It bears that tone of pathos and reticence, as one who feels it to be his own burden, heavy and personal. You say you do not know where it comes from, and such bewilderment itself is part of the trial. Yet be assured that though the cause is hidden from you, it is not hidden from Him who looks upon His people in their trouble. As David said, it may be that the Lord will look on my affliction. He does not overlook the body that suffers, nor the spirit that is perplexed within it.

It is a comfort to know that God will hear the prayer of a staggering man, even the prayer that has not any sense in it because the man who prays is at his wit's end. You need not frame an orderly petition to prevail with Him. A true prayer from one who is near unto distress is a prevailing prayer, and they who cried unto the Lord in their trouble were not long before He answered them. Therefore pour out your story before God. Go not first to this friend or that, but spread your case before Him and plead His promises. Take that word which has quickened you before and say, This is my comfort in my affliction, for Your Word has quickened me. Plead it in prayer and say, Lord, this is Your promise which You have made me to hope upon, fulfill it to me.

Remember also that Jesus Christ is the Good Physician, and there is an abundance of healing power in Him. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. When He healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing were one in His hand. Look then to Him not only for ease of body but for wholeness of soul, for salvation is through Him alone, and when the Sun of Righteousness rises upon you with healing in His wings, you shall not need to say continually, I am sick.

Your affliction, though it feels heavy and causeless now, is not beyond His design. The bark of the tree of affliction may be bitter as gall, but if you get to the pith of it, you will find it is as sweet as honey when it is sanctified to lead you nearer to Christ and to a weight of glory that far outweighs it. He prunes with a rough knife at times, but it is the Gardener's hand that holds it, and He means it for your good.

Be encouraged then to keep your comforts handy, to live upon the Word which has delighted you in former days, lest you should have perished in this affliction without it. Only you who have been healed can tell of the Good Physician's healing power, and my prayer shall be in your calamity that the Lord would visit you, quicken you, and restore you, and give you to praise Him who heals all your diseases and redeems your life from destruction. May He hear your staggering prayer, look upon your affliction, and repay you with good, and may you be kept close to Christ, your comfort and your healer.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your honest words about your body being attacked for no reason and not understanding where it comes from have been heard, and I want to stand with you in prayer in this painful and confusing place.

Scripture teaches that affliction is not strange or meaningless for the people of God. It says, for whom the Lord loves He chastens, and scourges every son whom He receives. Every righteous person must in some way pass through affliction, because the way that leads to life is narrow, and it is through that narrow way that God leads His children. That does not mean every bodily trouble is a direct punishment for a particular sin, and you should not carry false guilt as if God were striking you without cause. Often we do not know the other afflictions or the hidden reasons, but we do know that God sees, He hears our groaning, and He does not forsake His own even in the furnace.

Affliction in itself can feel grievous in the body, yet God is able to give joy in the spirit even while the body suffers. The apostles were afflicted and yet they rejoiced, not because affliction itself gives joy, but because the Holy Spirit refreshed them within it, as dew in the fire that kept the three children cool. In the same way the Spirit can bedew your heart and set you at ease inwardly even while your body is in distress. Affliction, when brought to God, can also train us, humble us, and make us steadfast. The psalmist says it is good for me that I have been humbled, and it is better to go to the house of mourning than to the house of laughter, because in sorrow the soul learns to rest in God and to say, let Him do what is pleasing in His sight.

Remember also the woman who had suffered in her body for many years. She did not detain Christ with many words, she only touched the hem of His garment with faith, and her faith had given her wings. Christ comforted her and said, thy faith hath saved thee, showing that He both heals the body and blesses the soul that trusts Him. Bring your body to Him in that same simple faith, even with a touch of prayer.

Let me pray for you now. Lord Jesus Christ, You are the true Physician, You know this body and this suffering that feels without reason. Have mercy and lay Your healing hand upon it. If it is Your will, bring relief and health, give wisdom to doctors and strength for each day. Where healing tarries, pour out the joy of the Holy Spirit within, keep this heart from fear and confusion, and teach it to trust You more deeply. Forgive sins, increase faith, and use even this affliction for good, that after passing through it there may be thanksgiving to You. Keep this dear one in Your care, guard body and soul, and lead by the narrow way to life everlasting. Amen.

Continue to bring your groaning to Him daily, seek care for your body with wise medical help, and stay near to His word and to fellow believers who can pray with you and support you.

Your confusion is understandable when your body is suffering and there seems to be no clear cause. Scripture shows that attacks against us are real, and they are not only physical. There is a spiritual conflict as well, and physical strength or methods alone cannot win that battle.

God has given spiritual resources so you can stand against the enemy when these attacks come. One way to stand is to refuse the attack in the name of Jesus, and another is to rejoice that God has given you His Spirit and spiritual weapons to repel what comes against you. Jesus said the prince of this world was coming but had nothing in Him, and because of the finished work of Jesus Christ you have a place of strength through faith in Him. You are not left without help.

The primary weapon God has given is the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. When Satan attacked Jesus in the wilderness, Jesus answered each time with what is written, saying man shall not live by bread alone. In the same way you can respond to attacks by speaking Scripture. The psalmist said he hid God's word in his heart to keep from sin, and Jesus said we are made clean through the word He has spoken. Filling your heart and mind with Scripture gives you something solid to answer fear and oppression.

Prayer is central, and prayer also leads to practical steps. When opposition came to the work of rebuilding in the days of Nehemiah, the people prayed to God and also set a watch day and night. They did not only pray and do nothing, and they did not only work without praying. Remembering the Lord is the cure for fear, and then taking wise, practical care for your body, seeking good counsel, and continuing in prayer work together.

The Bible also connects Jesus directly to bodily healing. Isaiah prophesied that He would bear our griefs, and the word there means our sicknesses and infirmities, and Matthew explains that Jesus fulfilled that prophecy when He healed the sick and those oppressed. At communion Jesus said His body was broken for you, which shows His suffering was for both spiritual and physical restoration. Jesus healed in many different ways, sometimes instantly so a person could feel healing happen in that moment, sometimes gradually, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with only a word from a distance. There is no single pattern He must follow.

All healing is from God. He has built processes of healing into our bodies, and those natural processes are still divine because He created them. He also brings healing to the mind and emotions, healing scars and wounds that are not physical. At the same time there is much about healing we do not fully understand. Scripture is honest that we do not always know why some are healed quickly and others are not. Paul prayed three times about his thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan that buffeted him, and the Lord did not remove it as Paul asked. That does not mean God does not heal today. It means we trust His wisdom while we continue to believe He is able and to ask Him for healing.

Bring your body to Jesus honestly in prayer and ask Him to bear this burden as He promised. Speak Scripture over your situation, thank Him for the power of His Spirit and for the weapons He has provided, and keep walking in faith in what Christ has already accomplished for you. If attacks continue, keep refusing them with the Word, keep rejoicing in the Lord's presence, and keep taking wise steps for your health while you trust Him for either instant or gradual healing according to His perfect will.

I am praying that the Lord will give you peace in place of fear, that He will guard your body and mind, and that you will know His healing touch, whether it comes in a moment or through His steady restoring work over time.
