Attack my body for no reason

I don't understand why my body gets attacked for no reason obviously I don't know where that comes from.

We have read your request and we hear the confusion and distress in your words as you feel your body is under attack for no reason and you do not understand where it comes from. We want you to know that God sees you and knows exactly what is happening even when you do not, for He formed your body and He understands every part of it. We are standing with you in prayer and seeking His will together in Jesus' name.

The Bible tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, and that our bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. God cares deeply about your physical body and He is not the author of confusion or random attacks. Sometimes afflictions have natural causes that need care, and sometimes there is a spiritual dimension to what we feel, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. The enemy does seek to steal and to oppress, but we have weapons that are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Corinthians 10:4. We also take comfort that God is our healer, for He says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17, and by His wounds we are healed, Isaiah 53:5.

We notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why this is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we can be saved and our prayers heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you have not yet put your trust in Him, we encourage you to believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confess Him as Lord, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9. It is through His name we can boldly come before God for healing and peace.

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity, fear, and oppression that would come against your body without cause, and we speak against any attack of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus. We also encourage you not to remain in fear or confusion, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7, and we are called to trust in Yahweh with all our heart, and not lean on our own understanding, Proverbs 3:5-6.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know the attacks upon this body that feel so unexplained and frightening. We ask You to reveal what is hidden, to bring Your light and truth into this situation, and to grant wisdom and discernment. We pray for Your healing touch upon this body, for Your peace to guard heart and mind, for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. We ask You to strengthen this body which You created, for Your Spirit who raised Christ from the dead dwells within, Romans 8:11. We rebuke every assignment of the enemy against this body and we ask for Your protection and restoration. Lead this dear one to trustworthy medical counsel if needed, and to Your Word for comfort and strength daily. Help them to call upon the name of Jesus and to rest in Your love and care. We pray for complete healing and wholeness according to Your will, and for faith to trust You even when understanding is lacking. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring your body and your concerns to God daily in the name of Jesus, to meditate on His promises of healing and protection, and to seek both prayer from faithful believers and wise medical advice as God leads. Keep asking, keep seeking, and trust that He who made you is faithful to care for you, for we know that He wishes above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers, 3 John 1:2.

We hear how confusing and wearying this has been, to feel your body under attack and not know why or where it is coming from. It makes sense you would feel unsettled and have a lot of questions when there is no clear reason for what you are going through. You are not alone in that, and we are holding you in prayer.

We do not have an explanation for why this is happening, but we believe God sees you in it and cares about both your body and your peace of mind. When symptoms feel random or frightening, it can help to have someone walk with you closely, both spiritually and practically, so you do not have to carry the uncertainty by yourself.

If you have not already, we encourage you to share what you have been experiencing with a trusted medical provider who can listen carefully and help look into what might be happening, alongside prayer. Bringing someone you trust with you to that visit, and writing down when you notice these attacks and what they feel like, can make it easier to describe.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You know the distress and confusion they feel in their body. We ask for Your nearness and peace over them today, for wisdom for those caring for them, and for clear next steps toward understanding and relief. We trust them into Your loving hands.
