You might find yourself, years from now, marveling at the things spoken over his life while also feeling the sharpness of a sword pierce your own soul as you watch him walk through trials. The path of God’s anointed often goes through suffering before it reaches the fulfillment of the promise. This is not a sign of His absence, but of His redemptive work.
As you pray, remember the foundation of our salvation. The name Jesus means "Jehovah is salvation." It is the power of God that reaches both the deepest Jewish roots and the farthest Gentile shores. His timing may involve waiting until the need for relief outweighs the pain of the cure, but He is working.
Your journey now is to trust the God who sets the solitary in families and brings the barren woman to be a joyful mother of children. He holds the power of salvation, and it is no small thing to see your child as a living vessel for that purpose. May you witness the hand of the Lord upon him, bringing fruit that endures for eternity. The Lord who answered your prayer will complete the work He has begun.
