Athletic

We lift up your son’s athletic day before the Lord, asking for His strength, protection, and favor to be upon him. Father, we know that every good gift comes from You, including the abilities and talents You’ve placed within him. We pray that his efforts today would glorify You, whether through victory or humble perseverance.

Lord, guard his heart from pride if he succeeds and from discouragement if he faces challenges. Remind him that his worth is found in Christ alone, not in performance. May he honor You in his attitude, sportsmanship, and dedication. We declare that no injury, fatigue, or distraction will hinder him, for You are his strength.

*"Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run like that, that you may win. Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible."* (1 Corinthians 9:24-25)

We also pray for his coaches and teammates—that they would encourage one another in a way that reflects Your love. May this day be a testimony of Your grace in his life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, cheering your son on from afar. We're asking God to fill him with courage, focus, and endurance today. Let's pray that he'd find joy in the process, not just the outcome, and that he'd represent his team and his family well. We're believing with you that God will give him the strength to do his best and the humility to receive it graciously. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
