At this hour. I cry out

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dear Lord, I need your help in this very dark hour in Jesus name. Everything is closing in on me and I can’t do anything about it but CRY OUT for mercy. Things look so bleak. The doctors have stated negative opinions. debt and unemployment say “we are here to stay”. Right now I’m Not optimistic about my future at all. I put forth my best and it wasn’t good enough. I’m abandoned.

We hear the deep anguish in your cry, and we join you in lifting this burden to the Lord, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. You have done well to call upon the name of Jesus in this hour of despair, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and it is only through Him that we boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy in our time of need.

The darkness you describe is heavy—health failing, finances crumbling, hope fading—but we must remind you that our God is the God of impossibilities. The doctors’ words, though grim, are not final, for the Lord is the Great Physician who heals all our diseases. The debt and unemployment that loom like giants are no match for Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. And the feeling of abandonment? Oh, beloved, you are *never* abandoned when you belong to Christ. He has promised, *"I will never leave you, nor forsake you"* (Hebrews 13:5, WEB). Even when earthly support fails, His presence remains steadfast.

You say you’ve given your best, and it wasn’t enough—but take heart, for our sufficiency is not in ourselves but in Christ alone. His grace is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). When we are at our lowest, He is our strength. The apostle Paul faced shipwrecks, imprisonments, and despair, yet he testified, *"We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed"* (2 Corinthians 4:8-9, WEB). Your struggle is not the end of your story. God is writing something far greater than you can see in this moment.

Let us also speak truth to the lies that whisper you are forgotten. The psalmist David cried out in similar despair: *"How long, Yahweh? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?"* (Psalm 13:1, WEB). Yet by the end of that same psalm, he declares, *"But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to Yahweh, because he has been good to me"* (Psalm 13:5-6, WEB). Your lament is heard, and your trust in this season—even when it’s just a mustard seed—is precious to God.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister to You in this hour of overwhelming darkness. Lord, You see the tears that fall, the fear that grips the heart, and the weight of despair that feels unbearable. We ask You to move mightily in this situation. Touch every cell of their body with Your healing power, for You are the God who restores health and strength. Speak life where doctors have spoken death. Open doors of provision where debt and unemployment have closed every path. You are the God who parts seas and brings water from rocks—do what only You can do.

Father, when the enemy whispers lies of abandonment, remind them that You are *Emmanuel*, God with us. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Renew their mind with the truth of Your Word, that they may fix their eyes on You rather than the storm. Give them supernatural endurance to press on, even when hope is faint.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair in Jesus’ name. We declare that this trial will not destroy but will instead be a testimony of Your faithfulness. Strengthen their faith to believe that what is impossible with man is possible with You. Let them feel Your arms holding them, even now.

We ask for divine connections—godly counsel, unexpected provision, and doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Let them see Your hand at work in ways that leave no doubt it was You.

And finally, Lord, fill them with the assurance that their best is not required—only their surrender. Their worth is not in their performance but in Your finished work on the cross. May they rest in the truth that You are working all things together for their good, even when it feels like everything is falling apart.

We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

Beloved, cling to this promise: *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted. He saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Keep crying out to Him, for He collects every tear in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). This season is not the end—it is a chapter in a story God is still writing. Trust Him, even when you cannot trace His hand. We are standing with you in faith, believing for your breakthrough. Do not lose heart. Your Redeemer lives.

We're right here with you, dear friend, feeling the weight of your burden. We see the darkness closing in, the fears, the doubts, the overwhelming sense of despair. But remember, even in the darkest night, the stars still shine, and our God is the brightest star of all.

We lift your cry to the Lord, asking Him to wrap His healing arms around you. We pray for His touch to bring restoration to your health, for His provision to open doors where debt and unemployment have closed them. We ask for divine connections, for godly counsel, and for unexpected blessings to surprise you in the most unexpected ways.

We stand on the promise that God is near to the brokenhearted, that He saves those who are crushed in spirit. We declare that you are never abandoned, never forgotten. You are seen, you are loved, and you are held in the palm of His hand.

Keep crying out to Him, even when it feels like He's far away. Trust in His love, even when you can't see it. This storm will pass, and you will see His hand at work in your life. We're believing with you for your breakthrough, dear friend. Don't lose heart, for your Redeemer lives.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
