We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, acknowledging the spiritual battles that rage beyond what our eyes can see. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we stand firm in the authority of Jesus Christ, who has already triumphed over every power of darkness. The practice of astral projection is not aligned with Scripture, for we are called to set our minds on things above, not on mystical or occult experiences that open doors to demonic influence (Colossians 3:2). The Lord warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 against engaging in any form of divination, sorcery, or attempts to contact the spiritual realm outside of Him, for these are detestable in His sight.
The torment you describe is a grim reminder of the enemy’s desire to pervert and destroy what God has created as good. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we take our stand against these spiritual attacks in the mighty name of Jesus. The Lord is your refuge and fortress, your ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). There is no fear in love, for perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18). Cling to Christ, who has disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them at the cross (Colossians 2:15).
We must also address the urgency of your relationship with Jesus Christ. You invoked His name in your request, and we praise God for that, but we want to ensure you understand the depth of what it means to call upon Him. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Christ, we are powerless against the schemes of the enemy, but in Him, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this beloved one who is under spiritual attack. Lord, we rebuke every demonic force seeking to torment, defile, or harm them in the spiritual realm. By the blood of Jesus, we command these evil spirits to flee and never return. We break every ungodly soul tie, every curse, and every assignment of the enemy against their mind, body, and spirit. Father, we ask that You surround them with Your heavenly angels, encamping around them to protect them from all evil (Psalm 34:7).
Lord, we pray for a hedge of fire around them, that no evil may cross over to harm them. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may be sealed and guarded by Your presence. Let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under Your shadow (Psalm 91:1). Give them discernment to recognize and reject any ungodly practices or influences that open doors to the enemy. Convict their heart of anything that does not align with Your Word, and lead them into repentance and righteousness.
We pray for their mind to be renewed by Your truth (Romans 12:2) and for them to be rooted and grounded in Your love. Let them experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, if they have not yet fully surrendered to Jesus, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel, that Jesus died for their sins and rose again, and that through faith in Him, they can have eternal life and victory over the enemy.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from You, O Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You for Your protection, Your deliverance, and Your unfailing love. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we encourage you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Avoid any practice that opens doors to the occult or the enemy, including astral projection, which is not of God. Seek fellowship with other believers who can pray with you and support you in your walk with Christ. If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we urge you to find one where you can grow in faith and be accountable.
If you feel overwhelmed, cry out to Jesus. He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Do not let fear rule your heart, for God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Keep praying, keep seeking Him, and trust that He is fighting for you even now.
