Asking the Lord's help

We have heard your many prayers and we join you in laying them before the Lord who hears and knows each name and need even where it was written as ### and where requests have been deleted or forgotten.
We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone salvation is given, for strong protection and breakthrough for you and for all in need, for wisdom and help for you in your work and in your weakness, for encouragement where you are weary, and for a true anointing on every outreach and service and on the church and on the prayer gathering this Friday and in the days to come. We ask Him to raise up more prayer warriors, to pour out His presence, to guard and bless and anoint that evening of prayer and praise, and to bring many to salvation through the recent and upcoming outreaches. We ask Him to guide your place in the church, to lead you in preaching and in every meeting and team work, so that all is done in a manner pleasing to Him, and to bring encouragement that defeats the works of the enemy.
You have asked for help with many conflicts. Scripture teaches us to look to the root, for if the root is cut out there will be no fruit. Many conflicts spring from covetousness or envy or vainglory and from love of the things of this life. We pray that God will give you a pure conscience without guile and help you to despise what is passing away and to treasure what is above, so that whether money or honor or glory is threatened, your treasure in Christ remains untouched. We also pray for grace not to rush into conflicts but to wait on the Lord, for when we are called to stand we should stand nobly, and when we are not summoned we should be quiet and trust His timing. In this way both vainglory is set aside and victory is more glorious. Remember that the present struggle is a wrestling, and God in His wisdom sometimes allows the trial to be severe near the end so that His people may gain the more, as He did with Job and with Abraham, and that what seems intolerable becomes tolerable when He brings deliverance near to the door. Knowing that you suffer for God and with God gives great encouragement.
For the relationships you named, we pray as the historic faith teaches, that God would convict where there is sin, heal soul wounds, stop what is not of Him, and bring healing and salvation first of all. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and sexual union and living together belong within it, but we do ask Him to have His hand upon each person, to show His love, to be a Father to those who lack one, to bring true reconciliation where it is according to His will, and to turn hearts to repentance and to faith in Christ. For those who are ill, for those facing school and exams, for those suffering soul wounds, for work needs and for the issue at church, we ask for miracles of healing and provision according to His mercy and wisdom, for Him to speak to all involved, to mediate, to give wisdom and strength and favor, and to deal with what is true and remove what is false.
We also lift before Him the prayers you mentioned that keep being deleted, for persecuted Christians that they may endure with joy, for the salvation of the unsaved, for the peace of Israel and for all who suffer in war zones and calamities, and for abused children and all who are vulnerable, that the Lord would protect, heal and deliver them. We thank Him that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think, and we ask that the earth may be filled with His glory.
Where you have asked forgiveness for speaking about others, we pray that God will forgive as you confess to Him, and that He will turn even that into a blessing and bring true healing and reconciliation in His way and time. May He keep you in a pure conscience and comfort you with the assurance that the righteous live by faith and that He takes no pleasure in those who draw back, but delights in those who persevere to the saving of the soul.
Father, we place all these names and needs into Your hands, asking for Your protection, Your conviction where needed, Your healing, Your wisdom, Your anointing and Your peace, for Your glory and for the good of Your people, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
