Beloved of All
Your many prayers have been brought before the Lord and we join you in lifting them up with thankfulness that you continue to seek Him with such persistence.
We pray for strong protection and breakthrough for you and for all who are in need, and that God would give you encouragement, wisdom and His anointing for every outreach and service that is planned. We ask that He would guide your work, your meetings and your place in the church, and give you grace to do all things in a manner pleasing to Him. We pray for a powerful anointing on your church and on the evening of prayer and praise this Friday, that Christ would be present, that hearts would be convicted, and that more prayer warriors would be raised up for His glory.
We hear your cry concerning conflicts, including those that are old and forgotten. Scripture teaches that every conflict has its root in love for the things of this life, whether covetousness, envy or vainglory. We pray that God would cut out the root, teach us to despise what is passing away, and to seek the treasure that is above. We pray that He would give humility, that we would not rush into strife but wait on Him, and that when trials come we would stand nobly for His name, knowing that He allows conflicts for a time and then brings deliverance near so that what seems intolerable becomes bearable by His grace.
We join you in praying for the matters you hold so deeply, for the persecuted church throughout the world, for the salvation of those who do not yet know Jesus Christ, for His is the only name by which we are saved, for the peace of Israel, for those suffering in war zones and calamities, and for abused children and all who are vulnerable. We ask the Lord to have mercy, to heal, to comfort and to bring justice according to His perfect will.
Concerning healings and personal burdens, we ask the Lord to lay His mighty hand upon those who are sick in body and wounded in soul, to be a Father to those who feel fatherless, to bring healing to soul wounds, strength for school and exams, and help in weakness. We pray for wisdom and favor as you return to your work and for reconciliation where there has been hurt, asking for true healing that comes through repentance, forgiveness and truth. Where you have asked forgiveness for speaking about others, we thank God for a tender conscience and pray He would turn even that into blessing and restore what has been broken.
Regarding the relationships you mentioned, we pray as the historic Christian faith has always prayed, that God would bring conviction where there is sin, healing where there is brokenness, and salvation where it is most needed. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His good design, but we ask Him to lead every heart toward repentance, purity and wholeness. We pray that every relationship would be brought into conformity with His will, that marriage would be honored as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and living together would be kept within that covenant alone. Where relationships are dysfunctional or not of Him, we pray that He would urgently intervene, stop what is harmful, confront what is evil, and draw each person to Himself in holiness and love. We pray for miracles of transformation, that He would show His love and make each one new in Christ.
We pray also for those you named for encouragement and help, for their salvation, for protection over children, for help in the workplace and for the issue at church, that the Lord would reveal truth, remove what is false, bring back those who have wandered, and defeat the works of the enemy. We ask for overall encouragement for you, that you would know you are not forgotten, that your labor is not in vain, and that the earth will indeed be filled with His glory.
May the Lord who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think grant you a pure conscience, steadfast faith and quiet confidence in Him. We continue to stand with you, asking that Christ would be glorified in every answer, whether through healing, through endurance or through deeper conformity to His Son. Amen.
