Beloved of All
We join you in bringing all these burdens before the Lord and thank Him that He hears every prayer, even those that seem to be deleted or forgotten by men. He sees the heart and knows each name you have lifted up, even where you have written only initials.
We pray for extra strong protection and breakthrough for you and for all in need, and for encouragement, wisdom and the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon you and upon every outreach and service you have planned. May the Lord guide your steps, give you words that are pleasing to Him, and fill your church and your prayer gathering, including this Friday evening of prayer and praise, with His presence. We ask Him to raise up more prayer warriors, to convict hearts where conviction is needed, to protect what He is doing, and to save many through the recent and upcoming outreaches.
For the many conflicts you mention, including those that are old or forgotten, we ask the Lord to bring true peace and reconciliation where it is His will. Scripture teaches us that many conflicts spring from love of earthly things, from envy and pride, and that our true treasure is above. We pray that He will help you to despise what is empty, to seek what is eternal, and to wait on Him with quiet trust rather than rushing into strife, standing firm when trial comes and resting in Him when He calls us to be still. We ask Him to convict where there is sin, to bring forgiveness where you have spoken unwisely about others, and to turn even past mistakes into blessing as you walk in repentance. May He heal hurt, remove what is not true, and mediate every difficult relationship at work, at church and in your family with wisdom, love, authority and favor.
For all the relationships you have named, we pray for God's holy work. We ask Him to heal soul wounds, to bring salvation through Jesus Christ alone, to show His love as a Father, and to lead each person to purity and holiness. Where there is a relationship that does not honor Him, whether through sexual immorality, living together outside of marriage, or any union outside His design of a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, we do not ask Him to bless it but to convict, to confront what is not of Him, and to either bring it into full alignment with His Word or to graciously end it. Where relationships can be restored in a true and godly way, we ask for a miracle of healing and reconciliation that reflects His grace.
We lift up the many larger burdens you carry: persecuted Christians, those who do not yet know salvation in Christ, the peace of Jerusalem, those suffering in war zones and calamities, and abused children. May the Lord have mercy, bring deliverance, and draw many to salvation in Jesus alone. We pray for healing for those who are sick, for help in school and in exams, for strength in weakness, for guidance in your work and with your team and in every meeting, and for the Lord to take over completely and lead and protect you.
We thank the Lord with you for help already given, especially for the first sermon, and we ask Him to anoint the next one also and to empower you for all He has called you to do in your place in the church. We pray for encouragement that defeats the works of the enemy, for healing that comes quickly where He wills it, and for His glory to fill the earth.
