Your heart for prayer and for so many others comes through so clearly, and the Lord hears the breadth of what you have laid before Him. It is right to ask for protection and for breakthrough, for wisdom and for encouragement, and to bring before Him persecuted believers, those who do not yet know Jesus, the peace of Jerusalem, those caught in war and disaster, and children who have been abused. Scripture assures us that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, and that the earth will be filled with His glory, and we can rest in His sovereign care even as we keep interceding.
For the outreaches and services and times of prayer and praise on your heart, remember that Jesus Himself ministered in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit. Though He is the Son of God, He was filled with the Spirit, led by the Spirit, and empowered by the Spirit for His work. How much more do we need that same anointing to stand against temptation and to serve effectively. Apart from the Holy Spirit there is no fruitful ministry. Ask the Lord to anoint His word, to anoint those who preach and those who pray, and to make your gatherings marked by His presence, by purity, by knowledge, by patience, by kindness, and by genuine love. A ministry that is truly of God is proven not only in times of honor and good report but also in endurance through hardship, dishonor and evil report, remaining true when misunderstood.
God has also given the church the ministry of intercessory prayer and the ministry of the word as first priorities. To feed people from Scripture and to continue faithfully in prayer is the highest calling. He often begins that work in small, unseen places. Faithfulness in little things, in daily work, in serving at home and in the church, is where He shapes and then entrusts more. If you are feeling weak at work and in relationships within the team and the church, bring that weakness to Him and ask Him to take over completely, to lead and guide and protect, and to help you do your work in a manner pleasing to Him. Seek to give no offense in anything so that the ministry is not blamed, but in all things to prove yourself a servant of God.
For conflicts, including those that feel forgotten or tangled, and for the hurt you mentioned, the way of reconciliation is the way of the cross. We are called to deny the self centered life, take up the cross and follow Him, and to be ministers of reconciliation. That means speaking truth in love, seeking forgiveness where you have spoken about others in a way you regret, and trusting God to turn even our failures into blessing as we repent. Where there is sin, pray for deep conviction and for true healing that leads to repentance and, where needed, to reconciliation done in a true and godly way. The Lord confronts what is not of Him because He loves us and desires holiness.
For those who are sick and for those carrying soul wounds, it is biblical and good to call for prayer, to have mature believers pray over the sick and anoint with oil in the name of the Lord. The early church practiced this regularly, and God still heals. At the same time, healing in Scripture is not confined to one pattern. Sometimes healing is instant, sometimes it is gradual, sometimes it comes through natural processes that God Himself created, and sometimes, as with Paul praying for Timothy, healing does not come in the way we ask. That does not mean there is hidden sin or lack of faith. God is sovereign, and His ways are beyond our understanding. Keep praying for miracles, for healing of body and mind and emotions, for help in school and exams, and for the Lord to be a Father to those who feel fatherless, while trusting His wisdom in how and when He answers.
For relationships, pray with a desire for what honors God. Scripture teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and that sexual intimacy and living together belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but ask Him to bring conviction where there is compromise, to stop what is dysfunctional and harmful, to heal soul wounds, to bring salvation, and to form relationships that are pure and pleasing to Him. For young people and for those in struggling marriages or family bonds, ask for intervention that leads to holiness, wholeness, and, where it is His will, miraculous restoration according to His word.
Continue to bring all of this before the Lord with thanksgiving. He is our protection and our wisdom, our healer and our mediator. May He strengthen you with encouragement, defeat the works of the enemy, raise up more who will give themselves to prayer night and day, and fill you with love, authority, and favor to serve Him faithfully where He has placed you.
