Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing so many burdens so honestly. God hears each of these prayers, and we join you in bringing them to Him.
We pray first for protection and breakthrough for you and for all those you have mentioned, including persecuted Christians, those who do not yet know Jesus, those suffering in war and disaster, and abused children. Scripture shows that Jesus has authority in every realm, over sickness, over the physical world, and over spiritual powers, and we ask Him to cover you and those you love and to work according to His perfect will.
You have asked for healing for many people and for yourself. We believe strongly that God does heal today. The Bible shows that He heals in different ways. Sometimes the healing is immediate, sometimes it is gradual. There is one account where Jesus healed in stages, and many other accounts where He healed with a touch, with a word, from a distance, or by His presence. He is not limited to one pattern. We also believe that the ordinary processes of healing that God placed in our bodies are themselves from Him, since He created nature and its processes. Healing can be physical, and it can also be deep healing in the mind and emotions where wounds and scars have been.
At the same time there is much about healing we do not understand. We do not know why some are healed and others are not in this life. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for a painful affliction to be removed and the Lord did not remove it but gave grace to endure it. The prophet Isaiah said the Messiah would bear our infirmities and sicknesses, and Matthew applies that to the healing work of Jesus, and we also remember that Jesus broke bread and said it was His body broken for us. So we pray with confidence for healing, and we also trust God's wisdom when His answer is different than we hope. It is wrong to tell someone they are not healed because of hidden sin or because they lack faith. That adds a burden God does not place on people.
You have also asked for help with many conflicts, at work, in your church, in families, and in relationships. This world is full of conflict between people and nations, and we see it every day. The good news of the gospel is that through Jesus, a person who was at war with God can have peace with God, and that peace can then bring peace within and help toward peace with others. We pray that God will give you wisdom, strength, love, and favor to work through these conflicts in a way that pleases Him, that He will convict where conviction is needed, bring genuine reconciliation where possible, and give you grace in your weakness.
Concerning the relationships you mentioned, we pray as you have asked for God to intervene, to convict, to heal soul wounds, and to stop what is not from Him. We pray for salvation first of all, because without new life in Jesus no relationship can be truly whole. We pray that every relationship will be brought into line with God's design, which is salvation through Jesus Christ alone and, for romantic relationships, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman with sexual intimacy and living together belonging only within that marriage. We do not ask God to bless what falls outside that design, but we do ask Him to bring healing, purity, and clear direction, and to be a Father to those who need fatherly care, especially the young person you mentioned facing school and exams.
For your work, your place in the church, your preparation to teach, and your prayer gatherings and outreaches, we ask the Lord to anoint and guide you. We are not looking for hype or show, but for the quiet, real power of the Holy Spirit to work through prayer, the Word, and humble service. We pray that God will raise up more people to pray, that He will speak to all of you, help you prepare, and use what you share to draw many to salvation in Jesus.
We also pray for encouragement for you. You have carried a heavy load and have been faithful to keep praying even when requests are forgotten or deleted. God does not forget. He is able to do far more than we ask or imagine, and we pray He will fill you with His presence, give you wisdom for decisions, help with meetings, and give rest and strength for the days ahead.
May the Lord keep you, give you peace, and let His glory be known through your life and through His people. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
