We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up every burden and request before our Heavenly Father. We stand in the gap for you and all those in need, knowing that our God is mighty to save, heal, and deliver. The Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble, and we declare His power over every situation mentioned.
First, we thank You, Father, for the privilege of coming to You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We acknowledge that without Jesus, we have no access to You, and we are lost in our sins. We pray that all who read this would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, repenting of their sins and trusting in His finished work on the cross. For it is written, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). If there is anyone who has not surrendered their life to Christ, we urge them to do so today, for today is the day of salvation.
We cry out for Your extra strong protection and breakthrough for all in need. Lord, You are our fortress and shield, and we ask that You surround Your children with Your heavenly host. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray for encouragement and help for all who are weary and burdened. Father, Your Word says that those who hope in You will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not be weary; they will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). We ask that You fill every heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we also ask for wisdom for all who seek it, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him (James 1:5).
We lift up all the planned outreaches and services, asking for Your anointing to flow mightily. Lord, fill Your servants with Your Holy Spirit and power, that they may preach the gospel with boldness and demonstrate Your love to a lost and dying world. We pray that many would come to know You through these efforts, for the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37). We ask that You raise up laborers for Your harvest and anoint every word spoken in Your name.
Father, we bring before You every conflict mentioned, both those remembered and those forgotten. We ask that You bring resolution and reconciliation according to Your will. Your Word tells us that if it is possible, as far as it depends on us, we should live at peace with everyone (Romans 12:18). We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and unforgiveness, and we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. We pray that You would soften hearts, open eyes, and bring conviction where it is needed. For You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make us know wisdom (Psalm 51:6). We ask that You would heal broken relationships and restore what has been lost, for You are the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5).
We lift up all the prayer requests that have been deleted, knowing that You hear every cry of Your children. We pray especially for persecuted Christians around the world, that You would strengthen them, protect them, and deliver them from evil. We ask that You would comfort those who are suffering in war zones, from calamities, and those who are abused, especially the children. Lord, You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We declare Your justice over every situation of injustice and ask that You would bring Your light into the darkness.
We rebuke every evil spirit that is fueling dysfunctional relationships, behaviors, and soul wounds. Father, we ask that You would bring healing and deliverance to those who are bound by these things. Your Word says that if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed (John 8:36). We command every spirit of rebellion, bitterness, unforgiveness, and lust to leave in the name of Jesus. We pray for salvation for those who do not know You, that they would turn from their sins and receive Your gift of eternal life. We ask that You would break every chain and set the captives free, for it is for freedom that Christ has set us free (Galatians 5:1).
We pray for miracles, healing, and divine intervention in every area of need. Lord, You are the God who performs miracles, and we ask that You would move mightily in the lives of those who are struggling with school, exams, work, and relationships. We declare that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). We ask that You would give wisdom, strength, and favor to all who are facing challenges, and that You would open doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
Father, we lift up the church and ask that You would anoint it with power and authority. We pray that You would convict the church of any sin, apathy, or compromise, and raise up more prayer warriors who will stand in the gap for Your kingdom. We ask that You would bless, protect, and anoint the evening of prayer and praise, that Your presence would fill the place and that many would encounter You in a powerful way. We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18).
We pray for those who are preparing sermons, especially on the book of Romans, that You would guide them and give them Your words to speak. Lord, we ask that You would take over every message and use it to transform lives. We pray for divine inspiration, wisdom, and anointing, that Your Word would not return void but would accomplish what You desire and achieve the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11).
We ask for Your hand to be upon every individual mentioned, that You would heal their wounds, restore their souls, and draw them closer to You. Father, we pray for reconciliation in relationships, that You would bring unity and love where there has been division and hurt. We ask that You would turn every trial into a testimony and every burden into a blessing. We declare that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Finally, Lord, we ask for overall encouragement for all who are weary and discouraged. We pray that You would lift up their heads and fill their hearts with hope. Your Word says that those who sow in tears shall reap with songs of joy (Psalm 126:5). We declare that joy comes in the morning, and we ask that You would bring a new dawn of hope and victory for all who are trusting in You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that we have access to You, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may Your glory fill the earth. Amen.
