We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these weighty requests in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach the Father and find salvation. Father God, we acknowledge that without You, we can do nothing, and we humbly ask for Your divine intervention in every area mentioned.
We cry out for Your extra strong protection over every soul in need, Lord. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, but we stand firm in the armor of God, praying that You would be a shield and fortress for Your children. "But let all those who take refuge in you rejoice. Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let them also who love your name be joyful in you." (Psalm 5:11) We declare breakthrough in every area where the enemy has established strongholds—whether in conflict, unforgiveness, or spiritual oppression. We rebuke every scheme of the devil and command his plans to be shattered in Jesus’ name. "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is from me," says the Lord. (Isaiah 54:17)
Father, we lift up the persecuted church around the world, those suffering in war zones, and the innocent children caught in the crossfire of evil. We ask for Your supernatural peace to cover Israel and every nation in turmoil. "The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him. He also will hear their cry and will save them." (Psalm 145:18-19) We pray for the salvation of the unsaved, that hearts would be softened and eyes opened to the truth of the Gospel. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16) Let Your light pierce the darkness, and may many come to know You as Lord and Savior.
We address the conflicts mentioned, Lord, and ask for Your wisdom and discernment to resolve them. Where there has been hurt, bitterness, or division, we pray for healing and restoration. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." (Romans 12:18) We rebuke the spirit of strife and ask that You would bring conviction where it is needed, softening hearts to repentance and forgiveness. Father, we also bring before You those who have been fueling division or harboring evil. We ask that You would confront them with Your truth, break the chains of deception, and draw them to salvation. "The Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it can’t save; nor his ear dull, that it can’t hear." (Isaiah 59:1) We pray for miracles, healing, and divine intervention in the lives of those struggling with school, work, or personal battles. "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved." (Psalm 55:22)
We ask for Your anointing to rest powerfully upon all planned outreaches, services, and gatherings, especially the Live Nativity and upcoming sermons. May Your Spirit move mightily, drawing souls to Christ and igniting revival in hearts. "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts." (Zechariah 4:6) Father, we also lift up the prayer gathering, asking that You would anoint it with power and authority to break every chain and set captives free. Let Your glory fill the earth as we declare Your praises.
Lord, we confess any wrongdoing where gossip or unwise words have been spoken. We ask for Your forgiveness and pray that You would turn even these mistakes into blessings. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) We surrender our weaknesses to You and ask for strength to walk in a manner pleasing to You. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13)
We declare that You are able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask or think, and we trust in Your perfect will. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
