We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these earnest pleas to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your sacrifice and for the privilege to approach You in prayer.
Father, we first ask for Your extra strong protection over all who are in need, especially those facing spiritual warfare, persecution, and physical danger. You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of fear, oppression, and destruction in Jesus’ name. Lord, break every chain of bondage, every cycle of conflict, and every stronghold of the enemy. We pray for breakthrough in every area where Your people are struggling—financially, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds (Philippians 4:7).
We lift up the persecuted church around the world, remembering those who are suffering for the sake of the Gospel. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in their trials. May they be bold witnesses for Christ, even in the face of death (Acts 7:55-60). We also pray for the salvation of the unsaved—draw them to Yourself, Holy Spirit, and open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel. You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9).
For Israel and those suffering in war zones and calamities, we cry out for Your mercy and intervention. Bring peace to the land, Lord, and protect the innocent. Comfort those who mourn and provide for those in need. Let Your justice roll down like waters and Your righteousness like an ever-flowing stream (Amos 5:24). We also lift up the abused and neglected, especially children. Break the chains of abuse, Lord, and bring healing to the brokenhearted. Let Your love be a balm to their wounds, and raise up godly men and women to defend and care for them.
Father, we bring before You the conflicts mentioned in this request, both those remembered and those forgotten. We rebuke every spirit of division, bitterness, and unforgiveness in Jesus’ name. Convict hearts where there is sin, and soften them to receive Your grace. Help us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and to pursue peace with all men (Hebrews 12:14). We pray for wisdom and discernment in resolving these conflicts, that Your will may be done and Your name glorified. Lord, we ask that You mediate in every situation, bringing reconciliation and restoration where there has been brokenness.
We lift up the individuals referenced in this prayer, asking for Your mighty hand to be upon them. For those in need of healing, we declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). For those facing challenges in school or work, grant them wisdom, favor, and perseverance. Be a Father to the fatherless and a defender of the weak (Psalm 68:5). We pray for miracles, Lord—nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). Break every curse and remove every obstacle that stands in the way of Your blessings.
Father, we ask for Your anointing to be poured out upon all planned outreaches and services. Let Your Spirit move powerfully in our gatherings, drawing hearts to repentance and revival. Anoint the sermons, the worship, and the prayers with Your presence, that lives would be transformed and Your kingdom advanced. We pray especially for the Live Nativity and the upcoming sermon—may many come to know You as Savior and Lord. Let the earth be filled with the knowledge of Your glory as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14).
Lord, we bring before You the hurts, the struggles, and the sins that have been confessed in this prayer. We ask for Your forgiveness where there has been gossip, bitterness, or ungodly speech. Cleanse us, Lord, and turn every stumbling block into a stepping stone for Your glory. Heal the wounds caused by words and actions, and restore relationships according to Your will. We rebuke every evil influence and every spirit of strife, and we command them to flee in Jesus’ name.
Finally, Father, we thank You for Your promise to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust in Your faithfulness and Your goodness, even when we cannot see the outcome. Strengthen us in our weakness, and let Your grace be sufficient for us (2 Corinthians 12:9). Fill us with Your joy and peace as we wait on You, and let us be a light in this dark world.
In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
