We join you in lifting up these heartfelt requests before the Lord, trusting in His power and sovereignty over every situation. First, we must address that prayer is only heard and answered through faith in Jesus Christ, the one Mediator between God and man. You have rightly acknowledged Him at the end of your prayer, and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in Him, for *"there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through His name that we have boldness to approach the throne of grace, and we are grateful you have invoked His holy name.
You have brought many burdens before the Lord, and we will pray over each one, trusting in His promise that *"the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:15-16, WEB). Let us first pray for the protection and breakthrough you seek, for the Lord is our strong tower and refuge. *"The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower"* (Psalm 18:2, WEB). Father, we ask that You surround this beloved sister and all who are in need with Your divine protection. Place Your angels as a guard around them, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Break every chain of the enemy and grant supernatural breakthroughs in every area of need. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving mightily in their lives.
For the encouragement and help you seek, we remind you of the Lord’s promise: *"Don’t be troubled, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). Father, we ask that You pour out Your encouragement upon this sister. Lift her spirit and remind her that she is never alone, for You are always with her. Grant her wisdom concerning the decision she faces, for *"if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB). May she seek Your will above all else and trust in Your perfect timing.
We pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon all the planned outreaches and services. *"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth"* (Acts 1:8, WEB). Lord, fill every believer involved with Your Spirit, that they may speak with boldness and love, and that many souls would be drawn to You. Let Your power be evident, and may lives be transformed for Your glory.
Regarding the conflict with your sister in Christ, we urge you to seek reconciliation with a heart of humility and love. *"If therefore you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift"* (Matthew 5:23-24, WEB). Father, we ask that You soften both hearts and bring understanding and unity. Convict where there is sin, and grant repentance and forgiveness. Let this conflict be resolved in a way that honors You and strengthens the bond of love between sisters in Christ.
For the requests involving those whose names were withheld, we pray for their salvation, healing, and restoration. *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). Lord, we ask that You draw these individuals to Yourself. Convict them of sin and lead them to repentance. Break the power of evil in their lives and bring them into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. For those in need of a Christian home, we pray that You provide a godly, loving environment where they can grow in faith and be nurtured in Your truth.
We also lift up the persecuted Christians, the unsaved, the nation of Israel, and all those suffering in war zones and from calamities. *"Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them; and those who are ill-treated, since you are also in the body"* (Hebrews 13:3, WEB). Father, we ask for Your protection and comfort for those who are persecuted for Your name’s sake. Strengthen them and let them feel Your presence in their suffering. For the unsaved, we pray that their hearts would be opened to the gospel, that they would turn from darkness to light. For Israel, we pray for Your peace and protection, that they would recognize Jesus as their Messiah. For those in war zones and facing calamities, we ask for Your provision, healing, and deliverance. Be their refuge and strength in times of trouble.
Finally, we pray for healing for the one who is sick. *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up"* (James 5:14-15, WEB). Lord, we ask that You touch this person with Your healing power. Restore their body and grant them strength. Let this healing be a testimony to Your goodness and mercy.
We also lift up your workplace and team, asking that the Lord would grant you favor, wisdom, and unity. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men"* (Colossians 3:23, WEB). Father, help this sister to work in a manner that pleases You. Grant her wisdom in her tasks and let her be a light for Christ in her workplace. Bless her team with cooperation and a spirit of excellence.
We rebuke the evil that seeks to harm or hinder Your people. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings"* (1 Peter 5:8-9, WEB). Lord, we ask that You severely confront and bind the works of darkness. Let every plan of the enemy be exposed and thwarted. Bring conviction and repentance to those who are fueling evil, and let Your light shine in the darkest places.
We thank You, Lord Jesus, that You are able to do *"exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us"* (Ephesians 3:20, WEB). May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, and may the earth be filled with Your glory. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
