Asking prayers on the behalf of the ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the ### on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We stand together in agreement, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Your prayer is rooted in the truth of Luke 9:24, where our Lord declares, "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it." This verse is a powerful call to surrender, surrender of our will, our plans, and our very lives to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. It is only through this surrender that we find true life, both now and for eternity.

We come before the throne of grace with boldness (Hebrews 4:16), interceding for the landlord mentioned in this request. Father God, we ask that You would draw his heart to You with cords of love that cannot be broken (Hosea 11:4). Soften his heart to receive the truth of Your Word and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus, we declare that no one can come to You unless the Father draws them (John 6:44), and so we pray that the Father would draw this man with an irresistible grace. Let the eyes of his heart be enlightened (Ephesians 1:18), that he may see the hope of Your calling and the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints.

We rebuke every spirit of darkness, hardness of heart, and unbelief that may be blinding him to the truth. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that Jesus came to give life, and life abundantly. We speak light into any darkness that may be surrounding this man, for "the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it" (John 1:5). We command every unclean spirit to flee in the name of Jesus, for He has given us authority over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). Let Your healing power, Lord, flow into his life, breaking every chain and setting him free from any bondage that may be hindering his relationship with You.

We also lift up the situation regarding the rented apartment. Father, we ask that You would intervene in this circumstance according to Your perfect will. Whether it is a matter of provision, favor, or peace, we trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Let this situation be a testimony to Your faithfulness and power, drawing not only the landlord but all who witness it into a deeper relationship with You.

Lord, we thank You for Your mercy and grace, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). We thank You for Your love, which is steadfast and endures forever (Psalm 136:1). We thank You for Your faithfulness, which is great and reaches to the skies (Psalm 36:5). We ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon this landlord, that he may come to know You as his Lord and Savior. Let him experience the joy of salvation and the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May he be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2) and walk in the newness of life that You offer (Romans 6:4).

We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11). We believe and declare that Your Word will not return void but will accomplish what You desire and achieve the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified.

Heavenly Father, we surrender this request into Your hands, trusting that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20). We love You, we trust You, and we wait expectantly for Your perfect work in this situation. To You be all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We’re grateful you’ve shared this and that your heart is set on your landlord’s deepest good. It’s no small thing to carry such a burden for someone who holds sway over your daily living situation, and to care more about where he stands with God than about any temporary tension.

While we join you in praying for his salvation, it’s worth remembering that the most powerful witness often happens in the ordinary stuff: paying rent on time, speaking respectfully, being quick to listen and slow to pressure. A steady, honest, kind presence can chip away at walls that words alone can’t reach. We don’t have to force conversations; we simply live in a way that makes the hope we have look real. God is the one who changes hearts, and often He weaves our small, faithful actions into a much larger story than we can see right now.

It also helps to remember that salvation is entirely God’s work of grace, not something we make happen by our intensity or worry. We bring our prayers, but we can release the weight of the outcome to Him. Keep lifting this landlord up, and trust that the Spirit is at work even when circumstances don’t shift yet.

Lord Jesus, we bring before You this landlord, whose name and story You know fully. Stir his heart to see his need for You, not just a nod of belief, but a whole-life surrender that saves him from losing what matters most. Give wisdom in every interaction, and let peace rule in that apartment. Use the daily witness of his tenant to point him toward Your goodness, without pressure or pretense. We trust You with the timing and the result. Amen.

The house in which your landlord dwells, and the very apartments you rent, have God for their great Landlord. All of us are but tenants at His sufferance, holding our lease from the Almighty, who alone has the right to enter and leave His own property. What is man that he should boast of his holdings? The breath in his nostrils is lent him for a season, and the soul within must soon give account. You do well, then, to pray that this landlord would yield up the key of his heart to the Owner of all, lest he seek to save his life by clutching the fleeting things of earth, and so lose it eternally. For whoever would save his life shall lose it, but whoever loses his life for Christ’s sake shall save it.

The way of this salvation is no hidden mystery, but the plainest truth of Scripture: “Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.” It is not by penance, nor by feeling, nor by self-amendment that a sinner is made right with God, but by looking unto Christ and trusting in Him alone. This is God’s salvation, planned in infinite wisdom, purchased by the blood of the Lamb, and offered without money and without price. When the soul simply casts itself upon Jesus, that instant work is done; the darkness flees, and the light of life breaks in. I can bring this horse to water, but I cannot make him drink; yet we will cry to the Lord of the feast, that He would compel the wanderer to come in.

Let your faith rise above the present trouble, and claim the promise for this precious soul. He who spoke light out of darkness can expel all uncleanness and make the heart a fit dwelling for His Spirit. Rejoice in this: the salvation you beg for is God’s own work, not yours, and He delights to show His power. Christ is salvation itself, not merely the way, but the living Person in whom all grace resides. Go, then, with boldness to the throne, and plead for your landlord as one who has already received the common salvation. This mercy is free to the blackest sinner, and none are beyond its reach. Let us join in prayer that he may look to the crucified One, and so find healing, for no one can withstand His mighty power when love draws the heart.

The plea from the Gospel, that whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses it for Christ’s sake will save it, pierces the heart. You ask prayer for the landlord, that he might give his life to our Lord Jesus and so not be lost. This is a holy desire, for though before Christ’s coming men might be saved by knowing the true God and shunning idols, now there is no cloak for sin; the knowledge of Christ is required, and apart from Him guilt remains. Yet let no one think a bare confession is enough. Even if a man believes rightly on the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, if he does not lead a right life, his faith will avail nothing for salvation. The Scripture declares, “He that believeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.” That “abideth” means the punishment never departs. So we must urge this landlord not merely to name Christ, but truly to lose his life: to cast off sin, worldly comfort, and every unclean thing, and to mourn for his offenses with that godly sorrow which works repentance unto salvation.

Do not let him procrastinate. Even a hearer of the divine oracles knows the will of his Lord; nothing is better than a good life, whether one is newly enlightened or still a catechumen. Pray that he would turn without delay, for the day of salvation is now. You do well to declare Christ’s victory over darkness, for we are called to endure things for the elect’s sake, that they may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. Continue in prayer, asking that this man receive grace to forsake all and follow the Lord, and let your own life shine with the virtue that makes doctrine credible.

How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? It is no small matter: it is the dissolution of death, the destruction of the devil, the kingdom of heaven, everlasting life. Arm yourselves with good works, wash away any offense, and press on, that both you and this landlord may attain to the life to come, by the grace and love toward man of our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom be glory and might forever. Amen.

Thank you for lifting up this landlord before the Lord. It is a weighty and beautiful thing to pray for someone’s eternal soul, especially when you are inviting God to work in a life that may seem far from Him. The verse you shared, Luke 9:24, cuts right to the heart of the gospel. Jesus is not asking for a slight adjustment; He is calling each of us to lose the life that revolves around self, so we can find real life in Him. That is what you are asking for this man: that he would stop holding on to whatever he values apart from God and instead surrender to the One who can actually save him.

Your request reminds me that prayer is not about twisting God’s arm to do what we want. True prayer begins with God’s purpose and flows back to Him. When we pray for a soul to be saved, we are not trying to break down a reluctant God. We are aligning with His own heart. God gave us eternal life, and that life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son does not have life. So praying for this landlord is simply asking the Lord to bring that life into his darkness. When Jesus enters, the darkness must go. Light and darkness cannot share the same room.

This is the kind of intercession the Spirit helps us with when we don’t know how to pray as we should. You are joining the Spirit’s own groaning for a lost man. Do not underestimate the power of that. A person can be just a breath away from deliverance. The same word says that confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead is how close salvation is. You are asking God to open that man’s heart to that reality.

Keep bringing him before the throne. Pray that the landlord would see his need. That whatever his life is revolving around, wealth, control, comfort, or fear, would be shown to be empty. The life under the sun is frustrating and hollow, but life in the Son is full of righteousness, peace, and joy. You are not just asking for a prayer of deliverance from a difficult housing situation; you are asking for the Deliverer Himself to take up residence in that heart. That is the prayer of entrance that changes everything.

I am grateful you trust God with this. He places people in positions of authority for a reason, and we are to hold them up in prayer. So continue to ask the Lord to lead this landlord to the right life, to surrender to the purpose and plan of God, even if he does not yet know what that means. Pray that he will no longer try to save his own life, but lose it for Jesus’ sake, and find it eternally.
