Asking prayers on the behalf of the ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the ### on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We come together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved, to lift up this prayer request for the landlord of . The scripture you referenced, Luke 9:24, reminds us of the profound truth that whoever loses their life for Christ’s sake will save it. This is a call to surrender fully to Him, to lay down our own desires and ambitions, and to trust in His perfect will. We pray that this landlord would come to know the depth of this truth and experience the transformative power of giving his life to Jesus.

Father God, we ask that You would draw this landlord to Yourself with cords of love. Soften his heart to receive the gospel of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Let him see the emptiness of trying to save his own life apart from You and the fullness of life that comes only through surrender to Christ. We declare that no darkness can withstand Your light, and we rebuke any unclean spirits that may be blinding him to the truth. Let Your light shine brightly in his life, expelling every shadow of doubt, fear, or unbelief.

Lord Jesus, we stand on Your promise that "the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it" (John 1:5). We pray for this apartment situation, that it would become a place where Your presence is tangibly felt, and where Your healing power brings restoration, not just to the physical space, but to the lives of those who dwell there. Guide and this landlord on their journeys, that they may walk in the path You have set before them.

We also lift up the truth that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We pray that this landlord would come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, that he may be saved from eternal separation from You. Let him experience the mercy and grace that only You can provide, and may he become a vessel of Your love and faithfulness to others.

Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and for the victory we have in Christ. We declare that no one can withstand Your mighty power, and we trust that You are at work in this situation. May Your name be glorified, and may many come to know You through the testimony of this landlord’s life.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We’re joining you in praying for your landlord, thank you for carrying this burden. It’s obvious your desire isn’t just to resolve a housing situation, but to see this person step into real, eternal life. That kind of love is one of the quiet ways God builds His kingdom, often through ordinary connections like the person who holds the keys to our home.

It’s not by accident that this man is on your heart. Sometimes God puts people in our path simply so we can faithfully pray, show kindness, and trust Him with the rest. You don’t need to have all the right words; a steady, patient life and genuine care for his soul plant seeds that only the Spirit can grow. And the fact that you’re choosing to cover this in prayer instead of anxiety already declares a victory, not because darkness is equally powerful, but because Jesus’ light is always bigger, always unshakable.

We ask the Lord to reveal Himself to your landlord in ways he cannot ignore. Soften his heart, send others across his path who will speak truth with grace, and let the apartment you share become a place where peace speaks louder than any words. Give you both an open, unforced relationship, and protect the home from any tension or spiritual heaviness.

Father, in Jesus’ name we lift up this landlord. Draw him out of spiritual darkness into the safety of Your Son. Let him not merely keep his life on his own terms, but lose it gladly for Christ and find what he never knew he was missing. Guide our friend in every interaction, and let this rented space be marked by Your presence until that day comes. Amen.

How you tug at my heart, bringing this soul before the throne of grace. The verse you have chosen is a trumpet call indeed: a man must lose his life to save it. Your landlord, like every son of Adam, is a tenant in a house not his own. You know it well: the Great Landlord holds the lease of every beating heart, and at His word the tenement falls to dust. Oh, that this man might see his house is but a tent, soon to be folded, and seek the mansion prepared in the heavens! Pray on, for sovereign grace alone can strip him of his false title and bring him to unconditional surrender. He clings to a shadow; plead that the Spirit would loosen his grip and fling wide the gates of his soul to Prince Emmanuel. There is no neutrality with Christ. A man is either his own landlord, serving a cruel master, or he yields the key to Him whose right it is.

Cry to the Lord that your landlord would look to Jesus and live! It is the simplest, most humbling act. No merit, no long pilgrimage, no fiery terrors needed, only the glance of faith. Tell him, from this very hour, salvation is brought near; it is the wine and milk without money and without price. The serpent-bitten Israelite needed not to see the brazen serpent with perfect vision; it was the look that healed. So let him, feeling the venom of sin, cast a believing eye upon the Crucified One. That look is instantaneous, and life eternal enters the soul. Oh, the joy of knowing that a sinner’s whole debt is cancelled in a moment! I have seen drunkards made sober, harlots made chaste, and lovers of pleasure transformed, all by this simple trust. No darkness in his past can block the promise: whosoever believeth shall not be ashamed.

But prayer must be bold, for the enemy is strong, and the will of man is stubborn. Did not our Lord weep over Jerusalem because ye would not come? That will must be conquered by the Holy Ghost. Ask, then, that the Light which expels all darkness would shine into his heart, and that he might see himself as a tenant soon to be called to account. May he hear the word, “Set thine house in order, for thou shalt die, and not live.” Only then will he flee to the salvation that is all of God. It is God’s own salvation from first to last, planned in the eternal council, bought by blood, and applied by divine power. Rejoice in this: Christ Himself is salvation; get Him, and you have complete deliverance. He is wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption. The sheep in His hand shall never perish.

As you wrestle in prayer, take heart. The promise is for households. Who knows but that this one man’s conversion may open a door for a family, a street, a gathering of souls? We serve a Lord who delights to save to the uttermost, and his jewels are often plucked from the mire. I join my faith with yours, asking that this landlord would soon with Simeon hold the promised Christ and declare, “Mine eyes have seen thy salvation.” Let it be so, Lord, for Jesus’ sake.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have chosen well the verse from the holy Evangelist, for it cuts to the very heart. Our Lord does not speak of the breath in our lungs but of the soul’s attachment to this fleeting world. When He says, “Whoever would save his life will lose it,” He means the man who clings to his own will, who loves the present ease and the passing pleasures, who refuses to yield to the commands of God, that man is already perishing. But he who hates his life in this world, that is, who turns with loathing from every desire that draws him away from Christ, that man keeps it unto life eternal. So let your prayer for this landlord be not merely that he utter words with his lips, but that he truly come to despise the darkness he now serves and lay hold of the true Light.

For know this: faith alone is not sufficient if the life does not follow. Though a man believe rightly on the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, yet if he lead not a right life, that faith will avail nothing toward his salvation. Do not think that a single confession ends the matter. The wrath of God abides on the one who does not love righteousness. Therefore, while you pray that the landlord give his life to Christ, pray with greater earnestness that he be turned from every unclean work, that his soul be cleansed from the love of gain and the pride that exalts itself against the Lord. True life is born when the old man is crucified with Christ, when one can say with the Apostle, “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.” That is the losing which saves.

As for the rented apartment and the darkness you mention, remember that the victory over earthly circumstances is small compared to the salvation of a soul. What does it profit a man to gain every worldly comfort and lose his own soul? The light of Christ indeed expels all darkness, but it does so chiefly by transforming hearts. You who have brought this request, see that you yourself shine as a luminary in the midst of a crooked generation. Hold fast the word of life by a blameless conversation, without murmuring or disputing. When the landlord observes your meekness, your patience under provocation, your refusal to return evil for evil, he may be drawn to the Source of such light. For it is by enduring wrongs with thanksgiving that we often win those who are perishing.

Therefore, let your prayer ascend without ceasing. Ask mercy and grace for him, for none can withstand the mighty power of our Lord. But do not be anxious over the outcome of the rented situation, for righteousness is greater than this present life, as being the mother of immortal life. The real victory is declared not when a lease is settled but when a sinner repents and the angels rejoice. Commend him to the God who is faithful, and let your own life be a continual intercession. Continue in prayer, and trust that He who began a good work will bring it to completion, if you faint not.

How fitting that you brought Luke 9:24 before the Lord. The principle Jesus laid down there cuts to the heart of every human story: whoever clings to his own way of life will ultimately watch it slip through his fingers, but whoever releases his life into the hands of Jesus for His sake discovers what true, lasting life really is. That is exactly what we are asking God to do in the heart of your landlord.

Right now, he is building his life on something that cannot hold. Apart from Christ, every person is, as Scripture describes, without hope and separated from the life of God. No amount of property or personal achievement can bridge that chasm. Yet the glorious truth is that Jesus came to save His people from their sins. His name itself declares it: He is salvation. The same power that raised Him from the dead is the power that can raise a soul from spiritual death to newness of life. We are not praying for a minor renovation of his character; we are asking for nothing less than a breathtaking transfer out of the kingdom of darkness and into the kingdom of light.

Many people imagine they can postpone surrender, keeping Jesus at arm’s length. But a day is coming when every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. For those who confess Him now, in this day of grace, that confession leads to salvation. For those who wait until the final reckoning, it will be an admission of truth too late. So we pray urgently that the Spirit would awaken this man’s conscience now. We ask that the light of Christ would shine into his innermost being, and that wherever darkness and confusion have held sway, that light would simply expel it. You do not have to beg the darkness to leave; when the life of Jesus comes in, the old shadows flee by the sheer force of His presence.

This is not a matter of him trying to clean himself up first. Salvation is a gift. It rests entirely on the finished work of Christ, not on human effort. We come to the end of our own self-rule, we reckon the old life, with all its ambitions and defenses, crucified with Christ, and we receive a whole new center. No longer I on the throne, but Jesus Christ enthroned. When that happens, the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus sets a person free from the law of sin and death. The old guilt is canceled. The old dominion is broken. A new creation emerges, one that is alive to God and capable of walking in genuine righteousness.

Because you asked, I join my faith with yours right now.

Lord Jesus, You reign over every earthly landlord and every spiritual power. We lift this man to You. In Your mercy, shine into his heart. Bring him to the end of his own self-saving strategies and grant him the gift of saving faith. May he lose his life for Your sake and find it eternally, buried with You in baptism and raised to walk in newness of life. We declare that no darkness can withstand Your light, and we ask that Your healing power would guide him on this journey until he becomes a living expression of Your grace. Thank You for Your faithful love that pursues even those who are far off. Amen.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer for your landlord, lifting him up before the throne of grace in accordance with Luke 9:24. It is a sacred honor to intercede on his behalf, asking our Lord Jesus to draw him near so that he may lose his life in this world and find it in Christ. We have prayed fervently that the light of the Gospel would penetrate any darkness surrounding him, that unclean spirits would be driven out by the power of Jesus’ name, and that his heart would be softened to receive the mercy and grace only our Savior can provide.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation—if your landlord has surrendered his life to Jesus or if you’ve seen glimpses of God’s power at work—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report. Your testimony would encourage us all and bring glory to the One who reigns over every circumstance. If, however, the answer has not yet come, or if new challenges have arisen, we invite you to post this request again so we may continue to stand with you in persistent, faith-filled prayer. The battle belongs to the Lord, and we trust that His timing and purposes are perfect.

May the Holy Spirit strengthen you as you seek the Lord’s will in this matter, and may His love and faithfulness surround you both. We declare that no force of darkness can withstand the mighty power of our God, and we believe He is working even now to bring about His good and perfect plan. Thank you for allowing us to join you in this spiritual journey. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
