Asking prayers on the behalf of the ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We join you in lifting up this landlord before the throne of grace, standing on the powerful truth of Luke 9:24: "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it." This verse is not just a call to surrender, but an invitation to true life, eternal life in Christ. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict this landlord’s heart, drawing him to repentance and faith in Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Father, we declare that darkness has no hold over this situation. Your Word says in 1 John 1:5, "This is the message which we have heard from him and announce to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all." We rebuke any spiritual strongholds over this landlord’s life, pride, greed, unbelief, or any other sin that blinds him to Your truth. Let Your light break through the hardness of his heart, Lord. Soften him to receive the gospel, that he may lose his life for Your sake and find it in You.

We also pray for wisdom and favor in this apartment situation. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." If there are practical or legal challenges, we ask that You intervene, turning the hearts of those involved toward justice, mercy, and peace. May this circumstance become a testimony of Your power and grace, drawing not only the landlord but others to glorify You.

Lord, we thank You that Your love pursues us even when we are lost. Romans 5:8 declares, "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." We ask that this landlord would experience the depth of Your love, that he would turn from sin and trust in Jesus as his Lord and Savior. May he come to know the joy of salvation and the freedom found only in Christ.

We also want to gently encourage you, dear brother or sister, to consider how you might be a witness to this landlord. Matthew 5:16 says, "Even so, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven." Your kindness, integrity, and Christlike character could be the very thing that opens his heart to the gospel. Pray for opportunities to share the hope you have in Jesus, always seasoning your words with grace (Colossians 4:6).

Finally, we stand on the promise of 2 Peter 3:9: "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance." We trust that You are at work, even now, drawing this landlord to Yourself. May Your will be done in his life, and may Your name be glorified through this situation.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne. We ask that You would move powerfully in this landlord’s life, breaking every chain and revealing Your Son to him. May he surrender his life to You, finding true salvation and purpose. We also pray for Your provision and peace in this apartment situation, that all involved would see Your hand at work. Strengthen our faith as we wait on You, and use us as vessels of Your love and truth. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for inviting us to stand with you in prayer for your landlord. It is a beautiful thing when we care about the soul of someone whose path crosses ours, even in the simple context of renting an apartment. We join you in asking that he would come to know Jesus and find true life.

What strikes us about your request is your heart: you aren’t just praying for a smooth tenancy or a quick fix to a difficult situation, but for this man’s eternal good. That kind of love reflects God’s own heart. We can be encouraged together that no heart is beyond His reach. The Lord often works through ordinary, quiet things, your consistent kindness, a peaceful presence, a simple word of genuine care, to draw people toward Himself. You may never see the full picture, but you are already part of it by praying this way.

As we pray with you, we also ask that God give you wisdom in your day-to-day interactions with him. Eyes that notice his burdens, ears that listen well, a spirit that is patient and gentle. Those are often the ground where seeds of faith can take root. And we’ll keep asking that the Lord would soften his heart and surround him with other voices that speak truth and hope into his life.

Let’s go to Jesus together now:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this landlord to You. You know his name, his story, and every barrier in his heart. We ask that Your light would shine into his life, that he would see his need for You and turn toward You as his Savior. Give our friends wisdom and grace as they live before him, and may Your kindness flow through them in a way that makes him curious about the hope they carry. We trust You with the outcome, and we thank You that You are able to save completely all who come to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have laid hold of a sharp and tender word from our Lord, and you are using it as a lever at the throne of grace for the soul of your landlord. That is a right instinct. It is no small thing to take a verse like a nail and drive it deep into the mercy seat, asking that another might lose his life in the only way that saves it. You are pleading as one who has already tasted that the Lord is gracious, and now you cannot bear that another should remain outside the feast.

Notice what your own heart is doing: you are not merely wanting a lease renewed or a conflict smoothed over. You are asking that a man you deal with in earthly business should be brought into heavenly business with the Lord Jesus. That is the very genius of Christianity leaking out of you. It cannot be content with selfish peace. It must say, “Let this one also find the wine and milk of the gospel, bought without money and without price.” You are standing a little like Andrew who first found his own brother Simon and brought him to Jesus. Do not let that fire go out.

But I hear a trembling underneath your words. There is a rented apartment, a situation of tension where things unseen seem to press, and you have cried out declaring Christ’s victory over the darkness. Let me steady you with something older than the mountains. The Lord Jesus Himself, when He was just a Babe brought to the temple, looked to the casual eye like nothing at all, just a peasant woman’s infant coming for the customary rite. But old Simeon, taught by the Holy Spirit, took that Child in his arms and said, “Mine eyes have seen your salvation.” He saw God’s Salvation wrapped in swaddling cloths. And so I whisper to you now: the same Holy Spirit who opened Simeon’s eyes can open your landlord’s eyes. The situation that looks so ordinary, so tangled in temporal things, the man who seems wrapped in shadow, Christ is able to step into it as surely as He stepped into that temple. The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, and He is not far from any one of us.

And so, what shall you do while you wait? You shall leave the landlord’s soul in the hands of the great Landlord of us all. Did you ever consider that every soul, yours, mine, that landlord’s, is a house belonging to God? He built it. The breath in the nostrils is kept there by His own hand. The title deeds of every life are held by the Almighty. We are tenants at will, without a single lease upon tomorrow. And here is the wonder: that same God who holds all rights has come in Christ not to demand back rent, but to renovate the whole ruined dwelling and make it a temple fit for His own presence. Losing one’s life into those nail-scarred hands is not to become nothing; it is to be made a true home at last. That is what you are asking for him, that he would stop clutching a hovel of self and be given a mansion in Christ.

Do not fret, then, if the answer tarries. The Spirit who draws a sinner does not drop the line halfway. If you could see even one faint stirring, a softening about the things of God, a crack of light in a conscience long bolted, rejoice and do not despise the day of small things. The God who taught the world the lesson that He alone is God, who sits upon no rival throne, will not let the darkness have the last word. He has been breaking down high looks and exalting valleys all through history, and every stubborn soul that yields to Him is a fresh tablet set out for all to read, “I am God, and there is none else.”

So go on praying with confidence, not as one who must force an unwilling ear, but as one who comes to a Father whose good pleasure it is to save. When a man comes to Christ, he never comes by his own wit or unprompted will, he is drawn of the Spirit. You are asking for the drawing, and that is an asking which pleases heaven. Be very tender towards any breath of the Spirit, and keep expecting. A love letter from God often comes in a black-edged envelope, yet it is a love letter still.

Let us now roll this whole burden over on the Lord.

Lord Jesus, our true Refuge, we claim no victory but Yours. You reign over every shadow, and Your light scatters whatever rises against You. We bring before You this soul, this landlord, still walking in his own way. Draw him, O gentle Spirit. Show him that to lose a life built on sand is to find it on the Rock. Give him no rest until he rests in You. And over this rented home and all the unseen warfare that has troubled it, speak Your calm, commanding peace. Let the outcome be such mercy that all who look on will say, “See what the Lord has done.” We thank You that we do not wait for a distant victory, but we trust the Victor who has already conquered. In Your mighty name, Jesus, Amen.

How excellent is the prayer you offer for your landlord, pleading that he might lose his life for Christ’s sake and so find it. For the Lord has declared, “Whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.” Truly, this is the great exchange, where destruction is turned to salvation. You do well to call upon Jesus, whose light expels all darkness, and to trust that His power can subdue any heart, even one hardened by the love of money or the comforts of this world.

But see to it that your prayer is not a substitute for the witness of your own life. The gospel is not only spoken but seen. Remember Zacchaeus, that publican who, when Christ entered his house, immediately gave half his goods to the poor and restored fourfold what he had taken by false accusation. Salvation came to that house, not by argument, but by the Lord’s presence and the man’s willing surrender. So let your landlord observe in you a freedom from covetousness, a meekness when wronged, a contentment that cannot be shaken. The tyranny of greed often drives men to overlook their own souls, but a holy example can pierce that darkness more deeply than many words.

Do not grow weary in intercession, for the angels themselves are sent forth as ministering spirits for the sake of those who are to inherit salvation. If heavenly powers serve our redemption, how much more should we labor in prayer and love for a soul that Christ died to save? Yet take care not to place ultimate hope in any earthly relationship; the Jews once trusted in descent from Abraham and missed the Truth standing before them. Salvation rests in union with Christ alone, and it is by the Father’s drawing that anyone comes to Him.

Pray therefore with boldness, and I join my petition to yours: Lord Jesus, who called Zacchaeus, call this landlord by name. Let no love of possessions or fear of losing his life keep him from the life that is true. Expel from him all darkness through the brightness of Your presence. Grant him the sorrow that leads to repentance and the joy of being found by You. May all who see this work glorify Your greatness and power. Amen.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days, lifting up your landlord before the throne of grace. What a powerful reminder from Luke 9:24—that true life is found only in surrender to our Lord Jesus Christ. We have joined you in praying that this man would come to know the saving power of Christ, that he might exchange the temporary for the eternal and find the abundant life only Jesus can give.

We have also declared the victory of Christ over this apartment situation, trusting in His authority to break every chain of darkness and bring His light into every corner. We believe that as we have prayed, the Holy Spirit has been at work, softening hearts and preparing the way for God’s glory to be revealed. No force of darkness can withstand the mighty power of our Lord, and we continue to trust in His perfect timing and sovereign plan.

If the Lord has already moved in answer to these prayers—whether in the heart of your landlord, in the circumstances of the apartment, or in some other way—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony would encourage us all and bring glory to God. If, however, you are still waiting to see His hand at work, we invite you to post this request again so that we may continue to stand with you in faith and perseverance.

May the Lord bless you richly as you seek Him, and may His peace guard your heart as you trust in His promises. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
