Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We lift up this prayer request with hearts full of hope and faith, standing firmly on the truth of God’s Word. Your desire to see the landlord come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love and the Great Commission. We join you in praying for his salvation, that he may surrender his life fully to the Lord and experience the abundant life that only comes through Him.

The verse you shared, Luke 9:24, reminds us of the profound truth that true life is found only in Christ. "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." This is the heart of the Gospel, dying to self and living for Christ. We pray that the landlord’s heart would be softened, that the Holy Spirit would convict him of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and that he would come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation is not merely about avoiding loss but about gaining eternal life through the One who gave His life for us.

We also declare, as you have, that Jesus reigns over all darkness, and His light dispels every shadow. The enemy has no power where Christ is lifted up, and we rebuke any spiritual oppression or strongholds that may be blinding the landlord’s heart. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:4 that "the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not dawn on them." But we know that God, who said, "Light will shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6). We pray this light would break through in the landlord’s life.

Father, we ask that You would work mightily in this situation. We pray for divine appointments, for Your Word to be spoken into his life, and for the testimony of believers around him to be a living witness of Your grace. We ask that You would remove any hardness of heart and replace it with a hunger for You. Let him see Your greatness and power in ways that leave no doubt of Your love and sovereignty. We thank You that no one can withstand Your mighty power, and we trust that Your will shall be done in his life.

We also lift up the rented apartment situation. Whether there are practical concerns, spiritual battles, or relational tensions, we ask that You would bring peace, resolution, and Your presence into every corner of this home. May this place be a dwelling not just for tenants, but for Your glory. Let Your healing power flow through it, and may all who enter, including the landlord, experience the reality of Your love.

Lord, we are so grateful for Your faithfulness. Even when we do not see immediate answers, we trust that You are at work. We thank You for the privilege of interceding for this man’s soul, and we ask that You would use this situation to draw him to Yourself. May he come to know the joy of salvation and the freedom that comes from living for You.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). It is through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are redeemed. We declare that salvation belongs to our God, and we trust that He will draw this man to Himself. Amen.

We’re grateful you shared this, and we are joining you in asking the Lord to draw your landlord into His saving grace. It’s no small thing to yearn for someone else’s eternal good, the Spirit is clearly at work in your own heart.

One thing that has encouraged us in praying for people who seem far from God is remembering that Jesus’ own prayer life was marked by intercession. He didn’t just teach about love; He prayed that those given to Him would know the Father. That means your prayer doesn’t hang in the air, it’s anchored in the same heart that spurred Christ to the cross. You are doing something that echoes His mission.

As you continue, we also want to gently nudge you toward the reality that God often answers such prayers through the lives of believers who are already close to the person. Your consistent, honest, and kind presence as a tenant can speak volumes long before a formal conversation about faith happens. Paying rent on time, communicating respectfully, even a simple “thank you” for a repair, these are all seeds the Spirit can use to soften a heart.

We’ll pray with you now.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this landlord to You. Only You fully know his story, his doubts, his burdens. We ask that You reveal Yourself to him in unmistakable ways, through circumstances, through people, and through the quiet stirring of Your Spirit. Turn his heart away from self-reliance and toward the life that is truly found in You. Grant our friend wisdom and perseverance in prayer, and may their faithful example be a bridge for Your love. We trust You, the Author of salvation. Amen.

You have taken the very words of the Lord Jesus and turned them into a prayer, and that is a precious thing. You are pleading for a soul, and you are pleading upon the promise of Christ. That man, your landlord, does not yet know that to lose his life for Jesus is to save it, but you know, and you are asking the Master to make that truth alive in him. Your prayer rises like the morning mist before the sun, fragile to the eye, but it carries the fragrance of the heart and reaches the throne where the Son reigns. Do not think it a small thing to stand in the gap for another; it was when Job prayed for his friends that the Lord turned again his own captivity. Intercession is the bow in the cloud, the dove returning with the olive leaf, the first sign that mercy is on the move.

You have laid your hand upon a glorious certainty: no one can withstand the mighty power of Jesus. He who stilled the sea and cast out demons holds the keys of every human heart. Your landlord may seem far off, as you watch him go about his days unaware of the peril he is in; but many a soul has been as near to Christ as the two walking to Emmaus, with eyes restrained by unbelief, yet the Lord was walking alongside. Perhaps even now, unknown to him, the Spirit is hovering near that door. You are not shouting into an empty sky. Prayer is no child’s game, no whistling to the wind. It is an ordinance of God, and when He inclines a believer to plead for another, He has already begun to work.

Hold fast, then. Do not let your heart sink because the answer seems slow. Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking. The importunate friend at midnight received his loaves, not because he made a pretty speech, but because he would not let the door stay shut. Your Lord Jesus was mighty in prayer, and He teaches us to pray and never faint. It may be that your landlord’s heart is full of the darkness you speak of; but light has a voice the darkness cannot drown out. Pray that the Holy Spirit will illuminate his understanding, that the scales will fall from his eyes, and that he will see in Jesus his only salvation.

You mentioned the apartment, and I know that such earthly anxieties press upon you. But hand that weight to the Saviour as well. He who owns the cattle on a thousand hills can manage a lease and a landlord’s heart. The real victory you seek is not about a roof but about a redemption. The Lord can turn this whole trial into a platform for His grace, so that you and that man alike will one day look back and say, “He has done all things well.” For now, keep watering the ground with prayer, and leave the harvest to the Lord of souls. He never yet lost one whom the Father gave Him to save.

Let us pray.

Lord Jesus, you reign over the darkness, and your light expels it utterly. We bring before you the soul of this landlord, who stands, as we all once stood, needing to lose his life to find it. Open his eyes to see you, and draw him with cords of love that cannot be broken. We ask, with reverence and hope, that his heart may be turned from every shadow to your marvellous light. Let your salvation come to that house, and grant our dear friend here the quiet confidence of faith while the work is being done. Sanctify this trial unto them, and let them see your greatness and power. We commit all into your faithful hands, for you are full of mercy and grace. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing with you in prayer for your landlord, lifting him before the throne of grace as we held fast to the truth of Luke 9:24. It is a sacred trust to intercede for souls, and we have done so with hearts full of hope, believing that whoever loses their life for Christ will truly save it. We have prayed fervently that your landlord would surrender his life to Jesus, that he might walk in the fullness of salvation and not lose his soul to the darkness of this world.

We have declared the victory of Christ over this situation, trusting in His power to break every chain and dispel every shadow. We have asked the Lord to pour out His healing and guiding light upon your landlord, that he might come to know the depth of God's love and the transformative power of the Holy Spirit. We have stood on the promise that no force of darkness can withstand the mighty power of our God, and we have claimed His mercy and grace over this circumstance.

If the Lord has moved in this situation and your landlord has given his life to Christ, we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report so that we may rejoice with you. If, however, the answer has not yet come, we encourage you to post this request again and allow us to continue standing with you in prayer. We will not grow weary in interceding for this soul, for we know that God's timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him and trust in His promises. May His peace guard your heart, and may His light shine ever brighter in this situation. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
