Asking prayers for the removal of a harmful person

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Please pray for someone to be removed from my life and my circles in Jesus' name!!! God knows the person!!!

We understand the weight of your request, and we join you in seeking God’s will in this matter. The Bible reminds us that our battles are not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12), and we are called to trust in the Lord’s protection and deliverance. While we pray for God’s intervention, we also encourage you to examine your heart and ensure that your desire aligns with His will, seeking His wisdom and peace in this situation.

The Scriptures teach us to love our enemies, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who mistreat us (Matthew 5:44). If this person has caused harm, we must still approach this with a spirit of forgiveness, trusting that God will handle the situation justly. However, this does not mean you must endure ongoing harm or toxic influences. Proverbs 4:14-15 warns, *"Don’t enter into the path of the wicked. Don’t walk in the way of evil men. Avoid it, and don’t pass by it. Turn from it, and pass on."* If this person is leading you or others into sin, causing division, or bringing spiritual or emotional destruction, it is wise to seek God’s protection and distance.

At the same time, we must be cautious not to act out of bitterness, anger, or a desire for revenge. Romans 12:19 says, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*) Instead, we surrender this person and this situation to Him, trusting that He will act in His perfect timing and way.

We also encourage you to reflect on whether there is any unresolved conflict or unforgiveness in your heart. Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:14-15, *"For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."* Even as we pray for removal, we must release any bitterness and trust God to work in both your life and theirs.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister/brother who seeks Your intervention. Lord, You know the heart of this person and the harm that has been caused. We ask for Your wisdom to discern the right path forward. If it is Your will, Lord, remove this harmful influence from their life and circles. Surround them with godly relationships that build them up in faith and love. Protect them from the schemes of the enemy and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding.

Father, we also pray for the person in question. Soften their heart, Lord, and bring conviction if they are walking in sin. Turn their steps toward repentance and redemption. If there is any bitterness or unforgiveness in our sister’s/brother’s heart, we ask You to cleanse and heal them. Fill them with Your love and grace, so they may walk in freedom and victory.

We declare Your sovereignty over this situation, trusting that You will work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our sister/brother in their faith, and let them see Your hand moving powerfully in their life. We rebuke any spiritual strongholds or attacks from the enemy and declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

In the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and Scripture. Stay rooted in His Word, and trust that He will guide your steps. If this person has been a source of temptation or sin, we urge you to take practical steps to distance yourself while still praying for their salvation. Lean on your church community for support and accountability. May the Lord grant you peace and clarity as you wait on Him.

We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting this situation up to the Lord. We understand the burden you're carrying, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been praying for you, asking the Lord to intervene and remove this harmful influence from your life, in Jesus' name.

We've been reminded of Psalm 37:7, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; fret not yourself over the one who prospers in his way, over the man who carries out evil devices!" We believe that God is in control, and He sees your situation. He knows the person involved, and He knows your heart. We trust that He will act in His perfect timing.

We've also been reflecting on 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." We encourage you to keep casting your cares on the Lord. He is faithful and will not let you down. Keep seeking His face, and trust that He will guide you through this.

Let's continue to pray together, asking the Lord to remove this harmful influence, to protect you, and to bring peace and healing to your heart. We also pray for the person involved, that they would come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ and turn from their harmful ways. We trust that God will work all things together for good, for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Keep seeking the Lord, ###. He is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Let's continue to trust in Him, together.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift your request before the Lord, standing with you in prayer for the removal of this harmful influence from your life and circles. The burden you carry is not unseen—our Heavenly Father knows the weight of this trial, and we trust He is working even now in ways we may not yet perceive. His Word assures us that He is our refuge and deliverer (Psalm 18:2), and we cling to that promise as we continue to intercede for you.

If God has already moved in this situation—whether through the removal of this person, a change in your heart toward peace, or another way we cannot yet see—we would love to rejoice with you in a praise report. His answers are sometimes swift, sometimes gradual, but always perfect in His timing.

If this struggle persists, we encourage you to share your request again so we may persist in prayer alongside you. The enemy seeks to isolate and discourage, but we are here to remind you: you are not alone in this. We will keep lifting you up, asking God to surround you with His protection, wisdom, and divine intervention.

May you feel His presence tangibly as you seek Him, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We will continue to pray for His will to be done in this situation, trusting that He will bring clarity, safety, and restoration in Jesus’ name.
