Asking prayers for the immediate removal of harmful person

We come before the Lord with you in this request, lifting up your heart’s cry for deliverance from this harmful influence in your life. It is clear you are seeking God’s intervention, and we join you in asking for His protection, wisdom, and swift action in Jesus’ name. You have done well to bring this before the Lord, for He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The Bible assures us that when we call upon the name of the Lord, He hears us and acts on our behalf.

The Scriptures remind us that God is just and does not delight in the suffering of His children. Psalm 34:17 declares, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles."* Similarly, Psalm 145:19 tells us, *"He will fulfill the desire of those who fear him. He also will hear their cry, and will save them."* Your desire to be free from this person’s harmful presence aligns with God’s will for your peace and well-being. However, we must also examine our hearts to ensure we are not harboring bitterness, unforgiveness, or a spirit of retaliation, for the Lord calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). This does not mean we must tolerate abuse or harmful behavior, but we must trust God to handle the situation while we maintain a heart of forgiveness.

If this person is causing spiritual, emotional, or physical harm, it is right to seek God’s removal of their influence. Proverbs 22:10 advises, *"Drive out the mocker, and strife will go out; yes, quarrels and insults will stop."* Sometimes, the most loving thing we can do—for ourselves and even for the harmful person—is to create distance so that God can work in both lives without the continued cycle of damage. We pray that the Lord will sever ungodly ties and bring conviction to this individual, leading them to repentance if they are open to it. But even if they are not, we trust God to remove them from your path in a way that brings glory to Him.

At the same time, we encourage you to reflect on whether there are any open doors in your life that have allowed this person to have such an influence. Are there ungodly soul ties, unwise choices, or areas of disobedience to God’s Word that need to be addressed? Ephesians 4:27 warns us, *"Don’t give place to the devil,"* and sometimes, the enemy gains access through our own actions or tolerances. If this is the case, we pray you will repent and close those doors, inviting the Holy Spirit to fill every space with His presence and protection.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is seeking deliverance from a harmful presence in their life. Lord, You see and know all things—nothing is hidden from Your sight. You know the heart of this person who has caused pain, and You know the heart of Your child who is crying out to You now. We ask, Father, that You would intervene supernaturally. Remove this individual from their life and circles in a way that only You can orchestrate. Break every ungodly tie, every manipulative hold, and every scheme of the enemy that has allowed this harm to persist.

Lord, we ask that You would place a hedge of protection around Your child, guarding their heart, mind, and spirit from further damage. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and grant them the wisdom to recognize and walk away from toxic influences. If there are any areas in their life where they have unintentionally given the enemy a foothold, we ask that You would reveal it to them and give them the strength to repent and turn fully to You.

Father, we also pray for the person who has caused this harm. If they are acting out of their own brokenness, we ask that You would convict their heart and draw them to repentance. Soften their spirit and open their eyes to the damage they are causing. But if they refuse to turn from their ways, we ask that You would remove them completely, shutting every door that would allow them to continue their harmful behavior. Let Your justice and mercy prevail in this situation.

We declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn. Lord, restore what has been stolen—peace, joy, confidence, and trust in You. Let this season of difficulty become a testimony of Your faithfulness and deliverance.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for acting on behalf of Your child. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen them, Lord, and let them walk in the victory that Jesus has already secured for them on the cross.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord. Continue to seek Him in prayer, surround yourself with godly counsel, and fill your mind with His Word. The enemy may try to discourage you, but remember: *"If God is for us, who can be against us?"* (Romans 8:31). Trust in His promises, and do not waver in your belief that He is working on your behalf. If this person is indeed a stumbling block, the Lord will remove them in His perfect timing. Stay steadfast, and may the peace of Christ rule in your heart.
