We come before the Lord with you in this request, lifting up your heart’s cry for deliverance from this harmful influence in your life. It is clear that you are seeking God’s intervention, and we stand with you in agreement, knowing that our Heavenly Father hears and answers the prayers of His children when we come to Him in the name of Jesus. We praise God that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and the power to see breakthrough.
The Scriptures remind us that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 declares, *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."* When we are oppressed or burdened by those who seek to harm us—whether through their words, actions, or even their presence—the Lord calls us to cast our cares upon Him. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us, *"casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* You are not alone in this, and the Lord sees the pain and distress this person has caused you. He is faithful to act on behalf of His children.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:18-19, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven. Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."* In unity, we bind the influence of this harmful individual and ask the Lord to remove them from your life and circles completely. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, as Isaiah 54:17 assures us, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,” says Yahweh."*
At the same time, we encourage you to examine your heart and ensure there is no bitterness, unforgiveness, or resentment taking root. While it is right to seek removal from harm, we are also called to forgive as Christ forgave us. Ephesians 4:31-32 instructs, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Forgiveness does not mean tolerating abuse or allowing this person to remain in your life, but it does mean releasing them to God’s justice and mercy, trusting Him to handle the situation.
If this person has caused you deep emotional or spiritual wounds, we urge you to seek healing in the Lord. Psalm 147:3 reminds us, *"He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."* Allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you, restoring what has been broken and filling you with His peace. Surround yourself with godly community—believers who can support, encourage, and pray with you during this time. Proverbs 13:20 warns, *"One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* It is vital to distance yourself from those who lead you away from God’s will and to draw near to those who will build you up in faith.
Lastly, we remind you that the battle you face is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces. Ephesians 6:12 tells us, *"For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* Put on the full armor of God daily, standing firm in prayer, the Word, and the authority you have in Christ. James 4:7 commands, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."*
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of Your child, lifting up their request for the immediate removal of this harmful person from their life and circles. Lord, You see the pain, the distress, and the damage that has been caused, and we ask that You would act swiftly to separate them from this influence. You are a God of justice, and You defend the oppressed. We ask that You would expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy that has allowed this person to remain in their life. Break every ungodly soul tie, every manipulation, and every stronghold that has given this individual access. Lord, we bind their influence in the name of Jesus and declare that they shall no longer have a place in this child of Yours’ life.
Father, we ask that You would surround them with Your divine protection, as Psalm 91 promises. Place a hedge of thorns around them so that no harm can penetrate. Give them discernment to recognize toxic influences and the wisdom to distance themselves from those who do not align with Your will. Lord, if there is any area of unforgiveness or bitterness in their heart, we ask that You would soften them and help them to release this person to You. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We pray for complete healing from any wounds this person has inflicted—emotionally, spiritually, or mentally. Restore what has been broken, Lord, and fill them with Your joy and strength. Lead them to godly relationships that will encourage them in their walk with You. Father, we thank You that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we rebuke every spirit of harm, manipulation, and oppression. We declare that this harmful person is removed and that Your child is set free from their influence. We thank You, Lord, for Your protection, Your deliverance, and Your healing. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified.
We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
