Asking God Almighty for mercy upon me .

Bhuolake

Disciple of Prayer
Praise the Lord Almighty for everything He had done for me. I thy servant am suffering from throat pain and am not able to eat anything. I also have wounds in my left leg which is not healing and it is getting bigger and bigger, I'm really scared and frightened and don't know what to do . I don't see any hope and am really worried. Before getting any medication I just want to pray to God that He may touch me with his healing hands and I know that after that I will certainly get healed. Please Lord mercy upon this child of yours and lead me in thy path. Amen

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer as you endure physical suffering and fear. Your faith in God’s healing power is evident, and we stand with you, believing in His mercy and love. The pain in your throat and the wounds on your leg are deeply concerning, and we know the fear that comes with not seeing improvement. But we serve a God who sees, hears, and heals.

First, we want to affirm that your trust in God is not misplaced. The Bible tells us in Psalm 30:2, "Lord my God, I called to you for help, and you healed me." You are not alone in this battle, and we believe that God’s healing touch is near. However, we also want to gently remind you that while prayer is powerful, God often works through the hands of doctors, nurses, and medical professionals. In Luke 10:34, the Good Samaritan "went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. He set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him." This shows us that seeking medical help is not a lack of faith, it is wisdom and stewardship of the body God has given you. We encourage you to seek medical attention while continuing to pray for God’s healing.

We also want to address the fear that has taken hold of your heart. Fear is a natural response, but it does not have to control you. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." When fear rises, we must combat it with the truth of God’s Word. He has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, power to endure, power to trust, and power to hope. We pray that you would cling to His promises and find peace in His presence.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your beloved child, who is suffering in body and spirit. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon their throat and their leg. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We ask that You would guide their steps to the right medical care and give wisdom to those who will treat them. Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear that has taken hold of their heart. Replace it with Your perfect peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Lord, we trust in Your mercy and Your power to heal. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We also want to encourage you to hold fast to hope. The enemy would love for you to despair, but God’s Word tells us in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” says the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." You are not without hope. Even in this trial, God is working for your good (Romans 8:28). We pray that you would feel His presence with you, comforting you and giving you strength for each day.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of calling on the name of Jesus. It is through Him alone that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

You are not forgotten. You are deeply loved by the Creator of the universe, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring healing and peace to your body and soul. Keep trusting in Him, and do not lose heart.

We hear the fear in your words, and we’re so sorry you’re suffering this way. Throat pain that keeps you from eating, wounds that won’t heal and keep spreading, that’s genuinely frightening. When the body doesn’t work the way it should, it’s easy to feel swallowed up by the worry, and it’s completely understandable that you’re scared and can’t see hope right now.

Your instinct to cry out to God for mercy is a good one. He sees you, and He hears every plea. At the same time, we want to gently encourage you not to wait to seek medical care. God often works healing through the hands of doctors and nurses, and symptoms like these need attention. Please reach out to a healthcare professional today; there’s no conflict between trusting God and letting someone trained take a look at what’s happening. That’s a practical step of wisdom, not a lack of faith.

When the pain is this intense, it can feel like hope is gone. You don’t need to have any neat answers right now. Simply bringing your fear and your body to God, just as you’ve done, is enough. He doesn’t ask you to be brave first; He meets you in the middle of the mess.

If there’s someone from your church or a trusted friend you can call, let them sit with you, even just to be present. You don’t need to carry this alone.

Lord Jesus, we ask for Your mercy on this person. Touch their throat and leg with Your healing power, and bring relief from pain. Guide the doctors, give them wisdom, and let healing come. Calm the fear, replace it with a steady sense that You are near, and restore hope. We ask this in Your name, trusting You for help and strength. Amen.

The very season of your terror is the season God often chooses to display His mercy. When the wound widens and the throat closes, when all hope vanishes into the desert of your own fear, then the Angel of Mercy finds you by the well. It was when Hagar fled, when she was utterly spent and saw nothing but death for herself and her child, that the Lord opened her eyes. You say you see no hope, that is the very frame in which divine mercy delights to work. The God of your mercy goes before you. He forestalls you. While you are yet crying out, while the pain grips you and fear whispers, He has already prepared the answer. His mercy is not slow; it overtakes those who have no strength to run toward it.

What you feel in your body and soul is not a sign that God has abandoned you. It is often the stern discipline that makes way for distinct, definite purposes of mercy. Elihu described the man brought low with pain, reduced to a skeleton, drawing near to the pit, and it was then that the messenger came with the ransom. The wounds on your leg, the fire in your throat, the shaking of your heart, these are the groaning notes that herald the footsteps of healing mercy. Do not think that you must first achieve some strange feeling of worthiness or perfect faith. You speak of hoping in His mercy. This is enough. Those who fear God are those who hope in His mercy. The slavish dread that makes you tremble under the lash is not the fear He seeks; but the childlike fear that yet looks to Him, that says, “I am nothing, I have no purchase on Your kindness except that You delight in mercy”, that is the mark of His own. The eye of the Lord is upon you, not because you have produced a strong faith, but because you are hoping, even faintly, in His mercy.

Look now to the wounded, risen Christ. He shows His wounds still in glory, not to condemn you for your fears, but to plead your cause before the Father and to reveal these very truths: His wounds were His weapons, and they are your refuge. The least leaf from that healing tree is full of virtue. The smallest touch of His grace can close those ulcers, can soothe that throat, can rally your wasted frame. But do not think only of the body. The deeper healing is for your soul, to change the life-blood of your spirit, to purge the fear that has no root in His love. Pardon and healing go together. As you cry for mercy on your flesh, ask also for the sweet sense of sins forgiven, for that will make the bed of illness soft.

Now hear this and let it sink into your heart. It may be that this very hour, in the solitude of your pain, the Lord means to visit you with a mercy that will swallow up your fear. Jesus Christ came to seek and to save those who were like you, those who felt they could not feel, those who envied souls that could even despair. You are exactly the woe-begone object of His mission. Do not wait for a sign or a better frame. Cast yourself with your dry eyes, your aching limbs, your trembling heart, upon the wounds of Jesus. They cannot fail. Christ’s wounds must heal those who put their trust in Him. The Lord Himself binds up the broken-hearted, and He receives not payment, but simply the needy hands that stretch out for His free gift. Sleep no longer in the city of fear; the knife is not at your throat for destruction, but to wake you to the Physician. He is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy. May He now make you to feel the glad report: “Your faith has made you whole.”

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
