Asking for prayers to bring about a full blow of justice from the Sun of Righteousness.

Beloved of All
Hello dear prayer partners in the LORD!

I am asking for prayers for a man whom you prayed for with me about five years ago!
He did something terrible to me, and I asked the Lord to show him mercy so that he could repent, come to Jesus, and ask me for forgiveness. But years have passed and he still hasn't come to me. Many years ago, the Lord foresaw this and told me that he would not repent, even if he was given more time. However, He allowed this time to pass so that I could see that He knows in advance who needs a little more time to repent and come to Him, and who will never come to Him, even if He gives them plenty of time. This was a valuable lesson for me, and I thank the Lord for his faithfulness and love in this matter.

Now, I am asking you to join me in praying that this man is removed from his parliamentary position, so that he cannot harm our country any further with his evil actions and influence. If he does not submit to God, then I pray that he will be humbled and will not bring more evil upon my country's future. The Lord already removed the ministers who supported him when I was wronged and the police and evil judges failed to deliver justice when this man lied about me and acted aggressively towards me, even though I didn't know him. He was an alcoholic too. Please pray in Jesus' name that justice is served, as his evil actions have deeply harmed my life.

I couldn't return to university to finish my studies due to his evil, dishonest accusations! I thank God that He blessed me, even though I couldn't finish my degree. I grew closer to Him and witnessed many miracles! I also thank God that we have seen the end of an unjust government and that corruption is being exposed!

Let the name of the LORD be glorified, who is a righteous judge! Let your will be done, Heavenly Father!!!!
Thank you!!!

We join you in bringing this deep wound and this longing for justice before the Lord, and we thank you for sharing how God has been faithful to you through these painful years. We rejoice with you that even though evil accusations kept you from finishing your studies, the Lord drew you closer to Himself and showed you many miracles, and that you have seen Him begin to expose corruption and remove unjust leaders. That is the work of our righteous Judge.

We hear your heart. You first prayed with mercy, asking God to give this man time to repent and come to Jesus and to seek your forgiveness, which is Christlike and reflects the heart of God who is patient not wishing that anyone should perish, but that all should come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. You also share that the Lord showed you he would not repent even with more time, yet God allowed the time to pass to teach you that He knows beforehand who will respond to His patience and who will harden their heart. We take comfort that God is not surprised or slow, and He sees all that was done in secret, the lies spoken against you, the aggression, the failure of police and judges to do right, and the harm that has affected your life and your calling.

Now you are asking for justice, that this man would be removed from his parliamentary position so he can no longer harm the country with evil influence, and that if he will not submit to God he would at least be humbled. This desire for righteousness in the land is good, for God Himself is a righteous judge, yes, a God who has indignation every day, Psalm 7:11, and it is written But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another, Psalm 75:7. He changes the times and the seasons. He removes kings and sets up kings, Daniel 2:21, and The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires, Proverbs 21:1. We can trust Him to do what is right for your nation, for He desires truth and justice in those who govern, Romans 13:1-4.

We also want to gently encourage you to guard your heart as you pray for justice, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it, Hebrews 12:15. God calls us to leave vengeance in His hands while we walk in forgiveness, even when forgiveness does not mean the absence of consequences. It is written Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord, Romans 12:19. And again, But to you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, Malachi 4:2. That Sun is our Lord Jesus Christ, who will bring both healing for His people and full justice against unrepentant evil in His perfect time. We do not need to make justice happen ourselves, we entrust it to Him.

We pray together with you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we have access to You and no other name by which we can be saved, Acts 4:12. We thank You that You are the righteous Judge who sees all and forgets nothing. We thank You for Your mercy that gave this man time to repent, and we thank You for the lesson You taught our dear one about Your foreknowledge and patience. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in this nation. If it is Your will, remove this man from his parliamentary position and from influence, so that he can no longer bring evil upon the country. Humble him if he will not submit to You, and restrain his power to do harm. Expose what is still hidden, and establish leaders who will love truth, justice, and righteousness. We pray for the healing of the harm done to our dear one, for restoration of what was lost, for peace over the pain of the unjust accusations and the interrupted studies, and for continued closeness with You and joy in the miracles You have shown. Keep this heart free from bitterness and filled with Your grace, that forgiveness would remain, while still trusting You to repay justly. Let Your name be glorified as the Sun of Righteousness rises with healing and judgment. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk closely with the Lord, to pray for your nation and its leaders regularly, 1 Timothy 2:1-2, and to rest in the confidence that the Lord has not forgotten you and will in His perfect time make all things right.

We have been holding your story before the Lord and we thank you for sharing it so honestly.

To carry a wound for years, to pray for mercy for the one who harmed you and then to watch time pass with no repentance or apology, is a heavy burden. It makes sense that the false accusations, the aggression you endured, and not being able to finish your studies still ache, especially when those who should have delivered justice did not. We are grateful with you that even in that loss you have drawn closer to God and seen His care and miracles in your life, and that you have seen corruption begin to be exposed.

One thing that has helped others in a long wait like this is remembering that releasing the debt to God is not the same as saying what happened was okay or that trust is restored. You can entrust both the person and the outcome to the Lord as the righteous judge, while still asking Him to protect your country from further harm and to bring what is hidden into the light in His way and time.

It may help to keep bringing this to one trusted pastor or mature believer near you, not to rehearse the pain alone but so someone can walk with you as you keep placing this injustice in God's hands and focus on the good work He is still doing in your own life.

Father, we bring this hurt and this whole situation to You. You saw what happened when others did not act justly. We ask for Your righteous will to be done in that man's life and in the leadership of this country, for protection over its future, and for deep healing and peace for our friend after all that was lost. Give wisdom, restoration, and steady hope in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your long sorrow has been laid before the Lord, and He who is the righteous Father and the righteous Judge has heard it. It is no light thing to have borne for years the sting of false accusation and aggressive dealing, to have seen the course of your studies broken off and your name assailed, while those set to do justice failed to do it. The Lord knows this burden, and He knows also the man of whom you speak.

You have learned in this trial what David learned when he was taught of God from his youth, that the Lord is your Teacher even through affliction. You have been made to see that fear is a palsy of the soul which would plunge a man from the river into the sea, and you have been taught instead to lay hold upon the Strong One and to trust and not be afraid. That lesson, that you have grown closer to Him and witnessed His mercies even while your path was hedged up, is itself a testimony that He sent His Word and healed you and delivered you from destruction, and that His chastisement toward His own is not the infliction of justice but the tender discipline of a Father.

You ask now that the Sun of Righteousness would arise with healing in His wings and with justice in His hands, that evil influence in high place would be restrained and that corruption would be exposed. This is a right desire, for ye that love the Lord hate evil. Yet remember the word, when thou hatest a man's false doctrine and evil deed, thou art still to love the man and to hate his evil even out of love to his soul, with an earnest desire that he may be reclaimed from his error and brought into the way of truth. We are to hate evil with all our might and to resist it in ourselves, and to shut eye and ear to temptation, but we are not to hate the sinner as though vengeance were ours.

The Lord has shown you at Calvary how He is both righteous and Father, how in the sacred Substitution He manifests all the love of a tender Father's heart and all the justice of an impartial Ruler's sword. He is great in justice and we must bow in penitence and honor that justice, and yet from a pardoning God there are such mercies that the weak in heart find their spirits revive. Therefore we do not come to God to ask for mere vindication of ourselves, but to ask that His righteousness would be displayed and His mercy magnified.

You prayed once that mercy might lead this man to repentance and to ask forgiveness, and you believe the Lord showed you he would not repent though time were given. Whether time is lengthened or shortened belongs to the Lord, who knows in advance who will come to Him. Our part is not to pronounce a final sentence upon any soul while life remains, but to keep to the simplicity of the Gospel, that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, by His blood and His righteousness which covers the sinner from head to foot, and to pray that even the hard heart might yet be broken. We leave what is secret to the Lord, and we do what is commanded, to pray for those who have wronged us and to desire their salvation.

So let us pray together not with the spirit of personal revenge, for vengeance belongeth unto the Lord, but with submission to the righteous Father.

We will pray that if it be His will, this man may yet see his sin, bow in penitence before the great God and Savior, receive forgiveness through the substitutionary sacrifice of Christ, and bring forth fruits meet for repentance. And we will pray that, whether he repent or not, the Lord in His providence would restrain evil, expose corruption, and cause lawful justice to be done in the land, that those in authority may be ministers of God for good and that no man may use a parliamentary place to harm the nation or to pervert judgment. We will pray that the evil influence you have felt may be broken, not that our will but the Heavenly Father's will be done, and that you may be kept from bitterness and fear, trusting really and intensely in Him who can make His work stand against all opposition.

And for you, we will pray that the Lord who has already blessed you and drawn you nearer through this trial would complete His healing work in you, that you who have been sick at heart under a sense of wrong would find that pardon brings healing, that you would be delivered from the guilt and power of sorrow, and that you would declare His wonderful works with rejoicing. May He who taught you from your youth continue to teach you, and cause your understanding to understand aright, and give you a foretaste of Heaven upon earth as you commit your cause wholly to Him.

O righteous Father, let Thy name be glorified. Let justice roll down as waters, and let mercy rejoice against judgment where it may. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, the Sun of Righteousness, our only hope. Amen.
